Here’s how to record an Elektron Digitakt’s eight separate drum tracks into Reaper DAW through Elektron’s Overbridge 2 plug-in. This allows for each individual left and right channel to be recorded and processed separately, opening up the Digitakt’s use in studio production exponentially.
(Apologies if it’s more of a ramble than usual, I woke up at 4am and just decided to learn to do this, so this is a video made on recent knowledge and minimal rest!)

It saved me so much time (I already spent a couple hours searching until I found your video). Very informative, easy to comprehend and repeat step-by-step, and 1000% useful for me. 🤝

Thanks for making this - it's going to be useful to me. I just downloaded Reaper and OB and did a search for "okay now what do I do?"

Anyone know why reaper skips ahead when sync'd to midi as a slave when you hit record
and it flashes red with waiting on mtc. When starting play on external sequencer it starts and jumps ahead random bars. Just asking for a friend as i use cubase

Nice video. I was thinking about getting the digitakt. Sorry if the question is stupid, but Im wondering if I can do what you did in this videon and at the same time record various sounds from my soundcraft mtk 12 (my interface)? Somebody told me that in this context the digitakt will be the audio interface, but it doesnt seem like so in your video? Hope you understand what i mean

Ah I understand- shouldn’t be an issue to use both Digitakt and MTK12 as the Digitakt is being loaded as a VST, not as an audio interface.
It is true that you can only use one audio interface at the same time, and while the Digitakt *can* be an audio interface, in this instance it is not being - for example I am still using a UR44 while using the Digitakt.
      Hope that helps!
