Euro Nymphing Gunpowder River (Maryland)

On June 28th, I fished the Gunpowder River which is a tailwater in Maryland. It was an amazing day of fishing and the water flow was around 68 CFS. This made the wading easy and finding the fish even easier. I used my new Diamondback 2-Weight Ideal Nymph Rod which is perfect for this type of water and was able to find and catch a ton of the beautiful, wild brown trout the Gunpowder is known for. Hey Justin is that the new Diamondback Ideal Nymph rod you just reviewed recently ? I like you had before use the Syndicate Pipeline P2 Pro in a 10' 2 Weight and was curious about the main differences between these two rods. Great video as always young sir....Cheers & Tight Lines to you 😃

Yes, that is the diamondback. The diamondback is a lot faster action than the syndicate, and a bit heavier. It is very sensitive and I have been loving it! Some people like faster rods more than others, so definitely try it out if you get the chance.
