- आरजी कर अस्पताल के सीसीटीवी कैमरे में कैद ट्रेनी डॉक्टर के रेप और मर्डर के आरोपी संजय रॉय की ये वो तस्वीरें हैं, जो 8 और 9 अगस्त की दरम्यानी रात को कैद हुईं. वो तस्वीरें, जिन्होंने उसे पहले कोलकाता पुलिस और फिर सीबीआई के शिकंजे में पहुंचा दिया. संजय रॉय इन तस्वीरों में देर रात अकेले ही अस्पताल के इमरजेंसी बिल्डिंग में दाखिल होता हुआ और फिर अलग-अलग रैंप और कॉरिडोर के रास्ते मौका ए वारदात की तरफ जाता हुआ दिख रहा है. ज़ाहिर है संजय के खिलाफ सीबीआई के पास फिलहाल इन तस्वीरों के साथ-साथ उसके मोबाइल फोन की लोकेशन और मौका ए वारदात से मिले उसके ब्लूटूथ नेकबैंड की सूरत में कई सबूत हैं लेकिन फिर इस केस में कुछ ऐसा है, जिस पर से पर्दा हटना अभी बाकी है और इसीलिए सीबीआई अब पॉलीग्राफ टेस्ट का सहारा लेने जा रही है.

*घटना से पहले चार साथी छात्रों ने सेमिनार रूम में उसके साथ खाना खाया था. उन चारों में से एक लड़की थी. मुझे समझ नहीं आता, वह कैसी लड़की है. कोई डॉक्टर इतना भयानक व्यवहार कैसे कर सकती है? मैं यह नहीं कह सकती कि एम के साथ डिनर करने वाली लड़की डॉक्टर है या इंटर्न,लेकिन उसका एक बॉयफ्रेंड भी है जो इंटर्न है। उसकी एम के साथ बड़ी बहस हुई और उस रात उसे फिर से धमकी दी गई। इसके बाद एम को सेमिनार रूम में अकेले सोने के लिए कहा गया।*
*फिर लगभग सात लोगों का एक समूह नीचे गया और शराब पी। तुम्हें पता है, पहले उन्होंने उसके हाथ कसकर पकड़े और उसे प्रताड़ित किया और बलात्कार किया। इस घटना में महिला इंटर्न ने भी साथ दिया और मदद की।*
*उनमें से दो ने जरासंध की तरह उसके पैर पकड़कर अलग कर दिए, जिससे उसकी पेल्विक हड्डियां टूट गईं। यहां तक कि उन्होंने उसकी कॉलर बोन भी तोड़ दी. यह हिंसा, क्रूरता और क्रूरता से भरा कृत्य था. उसे उल्टा लिटाया गया और साथी प्रशिक्षु जूते पहनकर उसके ऊपर से गुजरे। उसके सिर को इस तरह कुचला गया कि उसकी खोपड़ी फट गयी.*

उसकी हत्या करने के बाद उन्होंने उसके शव के साथ शालीनता से पेश आने की भी परवाह नहीं की। जब वे सीढ़ियों से नीचे उतरे, तो उन्होंने देखा कि संजय ग्रुप-डी के अन्य कर्मचारियों के साथ वहां बैठा शराब पी रहा था। वे उसे 'तरकटा संजय' और 'फल-गाई' कहते थे क्योंकि वह वेश्यावृत्ति का आदी था और महिलाओं के प्रति उसका जुनून था।
घटनाक्रम में हेरफेर करने के लिए, उन्होंने संजय को उसके साथ बलात्कार करने के लिए उकसाया और कहा, ''सेमिनार रूम में जाओ, वहाँ तुम्हारे लिए एक लड़की है।''
उसने शव के साथ बलात्कार किया ताकि उसके वीर्य के निशान उसकी योनि में भी मिल सकें.
