Hoping they straighten things out in Infinite, let the Brutes be the big ugly angry beasts, charging straight towards the enemy, teeth bared and covered in blades and leather. Bring the Elites back to their nobler side, agile and powerful but much more intelligent about using cover, flanking, and making coordinated strikes.

I don’t think Forge gets enough respect from the Halo community. He literally beat an Elite, not just any Elite but an Arbiter in hand to hand combat. And his sacrifice saved the Human race. He would of made an amazing Spartan IV.

Rippa Moramee is my favorite Sangheili. He is a freaking anomaly between elites, he is bigger and stronger than a normal elite and also had a very cool personally and loyalty to the covenant.

Ripa Moramee was very aggressive with his tactics and strategies. Obviously he underestimated Sgt. Forge just for being a "weaker" race. Overall a worthy adversary though.

I beat the Halo Wars campaign a million times when I was younger but as I grow older I love this game more and more. The dialogue, the story, the characters the quality of the cutscenes is just phenomenal.

this game was my introduction to the Halo Series, when I first got acquainted with the Arbiter, I thought that was his name and not his rank. The next game I played was Halo 3 and when the Arbiter revealed himself, I thought that it was the same guy since he used the same tactics as the Arbiter in Halo Wars (going invisible and using Plasma Swords), was really confused as to why he was on the Human's Side. Played Halo 2 Anniversary and immediately went "OOOOOOOHHHHH" when the game tells you that the Arbiter is a rank for a Dishonorable Warrior Officer and that there have been many over the generations. Still, the Arbiter from this game is a pretty cool example of how they are portrayed from the Humans' Perspective. His brute-strength, his intimidating demeanor and how he has shoved aside his subordinates. It all really shows why he deserved that rank not through being effective but by being a loose-cannon and thank god we didn't get to fight him because the whole game portrayed him as somebody who could easily flog our characters, only for him to get defeated in a cutscene like the game is telling us; "See? He ain't so bad."
I want to see a game where you play as the villains for the whole thing, with fully customizable armor. Kinda like Halo Reach but for Elites. Kill blasphemous humans and glass a planet at the end

Ripa Moramees height pisses me off .Elites typically range from 7'5-8'6 so that puts the average at 7'11 . Ripa visibly towers over literally every elite in this game and Ripa is only listed at 8'1 on the official Halo Pages ......makes literally no sense . He is clearly closer to 9ft.
I love how the arbiter and most of the Elites in Halo Wars have a freakish fish-monster look. really makes them more scary and alien, but at the cost of them being less grounded in reality.

I like how his corpse just gets unceremoniously shoved off a cliff at the end. It's hilarious because he holds such an honorable title but his body is treated with such little care. It's very fitting for a villain like him. Especially considering that due to how the game ends the covenant would've had to make new arbiter armor. So this centuries old armor is destroyed on top of it's user being dead. Nice little bit of insult to injury for the covenant.
What I find interesting is how different he is from Arbiter Thel Vadam during Halo 2. Though he is still loyal to great journey and covenant, he really doesn’t seem care nor appreciate the elites around him and seems to want to put his life before theirs, even when disgraced, compared to Thel who was willing to sacrifice himself for their mission, and openly admitted that the elites around him meant more than he did; that he was ultimately disposable where they weren’t Not to mention how much more brutish he is; ignited his swords in front of a hierarch, displaying a lack of care of others around him as well as just a constant aura of anger, as opposed to Thel who was a lot more cool and collected, only showing a full burst of anger once, but even that was directed and it wasn’t long before he was able to pull himself back together and think of a plan to get him out of his predicament. Any diversity between alien characters of the same species is a good thing, it shows a diverse community, but it’s even better when it’s that of a specific role. It helps him stand out as a character more, rather than just blending with the Arbiter we already know and tend to think of.
Tbh he probably would be that fact he was trying to evil monologue and not just finish it but karma got him but in the lore he was always known as a brash cocky Sangheili so his downfall dying like this isn't suprising to the lore nuts
Anders being able to use the Forerunner tech for me always sealed it that humans ARE Forerunners. It should have been that. The Didact could have been an ancient human. All of it could have existed as JUST ancient humans. Too bad.
Anyone ever conflicted over the time-lapse of elite armor? It went from standard halo wars to flashy halo reach, to flashy/standard by color for halo 1/anniversary Then standard for halo 2 and 3. But for halo infinite, it goes back to halo reach armor And halo 4 and 5? Umm I Don't know what happened there
Halo 4 and 5 are Storm covenant so they don’t count in my eyes. It is strange lore wise how the elites went from militaristic space alien armour to Ceremonial Cult-like in Reach to Alien colours in 1, 2 and 3.

6:30 can we also note how if the arbiter armor was provided with proper shielding the knife would have bounced off or atleast gone far less deep, just being a skin deep implalement that would maybe cause him to toss him to make distance but he wouldnt stumble and would maintain control of the fight (assuming the shielding isnt restricted to only activate against high velocity weapons, saying they use energy swords and pikes though i doubt it. (and most plasma weapons arent much faater than a knife attack anyways, maybe 2 to 3x as fast at most) so low velocity always active shielding makes more sense + it activating when you barely get tapped by vehicles or hit the ground hard (same for enemies even in cutscenes) shows its a always active low velocity shield. if im correct covenant shielding reactivly appears before contact whereas the unsc shields are always active and thus are less energy efficent and drain faster.

Ripa Moramees height pisses me off .Elites typically range from 7'5-8'6 so that puts the average at 7'11 . Ripa visibly towers over literally every elite in this game and Ripa is only listed at 8'1 on the official Halo Pages ......makes literally no sense . He is clearly closer to 9ft.

Well i wouldnt say its better because most og halo fans didnt like the way halo wars was to them. Tbey wanted it to be a fps shooter game but not a strategy game.

I like how his corpse just gets unceremoniously shoved off a cliff at the end. It's hilarious because he holds such an honorable title but his body is treated with such little care. It's very fitting for a villain like him. Especially considering that due to how the game ends the covenant would've had to make new arbiter armor. So this centuries old armor is destroyed on top of it's user being dead. Nice little bit of insult to injury for the covenant.

What I find interesting is how different he is from Arbiter Thel Vadam during Halo 2.
Though he is still loyal to great journey and covenant, he really doesn’t seem care nor appreciate the elites around him and seems to want to put his life before theirs, even when disgraced, compared to Thel who was willing to sacrifice himself for their mission, and openly admitted that the elites around him meant more than he did; that he was ultimately disposable where they weren’t
Not to mention how much more brutish he is; ignited his swords in front of a hierarch, displaying a lack of care of others around him as well as just a constant aura of anger, as opposed to Thel who was a lot more cool and collected, only showing a full burst of anger once, but even that was directed and it wasn’t long before he was able to pull himself back together and think of a plan to get him out of his predicament.
Any diversity between alien characters of the same species is a good thing, it shows a diverse community, but it’s even better when it’s that of a specific role. It helps him stand out as a character more, rather than just blending with the Arbiter we already know and tend to think of.

It went from standard halo wars to flashy halo reach, to flashy/standard by color for halo 1/anniversary
Then standard for halo 2 and 3.
But for halo infinite, it goes back to halo reach armor

Halo 4 and 5 are Storm covenant so they don’t count in my eyes. It is strange lore wise how the elites went from militaristic space alien armour to Ceremonial Cult-like in Reach to Alien colours in 1, 2 and 3.

6:30 can we also note how if the arbiter armor was provided with proper shielding the knife would have bounced off or atleast gone far less deep, just being a skin deep implalement that would maybe cause him to toss him to make distance but he wouldnt stumble and would maintain control of the fight (assuming the shielding isnt restricted to only activate against high velocity weapons, saying they use energy swords and pikes though i doubt it. (and most plasma weapons arent much faater than a knife attack anyways, maybe 2 to 3x as fast at most) so low velocity always active shielding makes more sense + it activating when you barely get tapped by vehicles or hit the ground hard (same for enemies even in cutscenes) shows its a always active low velocity shield. if im correct covenant shielding reactivly appears before contact whereas the unsc shields are always active and thus are less energy efficent and drain faster.
