- This song was written and composed by Theng Vang of 'The LojLeeb Band' in Omaha, Nebraska in the album 'Summer '84'. However, the original was already written for the very first LojLeeb Band from Ban Vinai, Thailand Refugee's Camp from 1976-79.

Bring back good memories as back in the 80’s, we only had these to keep us going between the Hmong way and the Western way…for many of us, we were kind of lost because we grew up in the western world with a 100% Hmong mind.

It's so nice to hear old classics. This is when music was pure, just your basic instruments. I still remember we perform with you ladies (share the stage with Poj Nraj aka LojLeeb Female band in Omaha during the summer soccer tourney).

You are right. Same with me too. There are many reasons why peb khosiab for old songs. Because they bring back old memories where most are no longer around anymore. Also most old songs are more touching and people took the time to write from the heart, unlike nowadays people talk about nothing but same old lyrics over and over with different singers.
