I agree you get cool new units right off the bat that aren't just more infantry with a different type of gun
This DLC is much better than the last one.
The synergy between the Mahaganar Police units and the Mobile Infantry ones is crazy good. The first two missions (what I've seen so far as to the time of the posting of this comment) are very good. And Sergeant Keyes is a much better character than Captain Zhao from Raising Hell (kind of disappointed with the writing and the ending of that one).
@@mirceazaharia2094 Same here! This DLC was so much better than Raising Hell. If I had to criticise something I'd say the new units are too powerful. But overall, I enjoyed it a lot.

the mobile infantry is becoming more of a modern army now, they have light ifv and gunship support.... strange that they need anyting more than pure infantry waves :D good work thoug!
Well, I think to just send wave after wave of infantry was propably more loyal to the source material! XD

I think if we get another DLC a tropical island area would be cool and you'd get to use boats and submarines to deal with aquatic bugs which could be based off the ones from the TV series
I'd be so down to use those troop transporting water skimmers. You could stick Troopers in there and have em fire out the top
@@KillerOrca Yeah that would be awesome. Then you fight the tiger bugs and those mosquito guys from the show. Maybe have some jungle areas dealing with the spider guys

@@KillerOrca I'm referring to the guys from the TV show series. I think there's something similar to the mosquitoes but not the spider I mentioned
@@zacharyweaver276 ahh you mean the ripper. the ones your talking about is called a water ripper. rippers i hate them there just hopper that are range and there range attacks' are shot gun spikes
Damn, dude! The policemen are WAY better equipped of the Mobile Infantry! I mean, personal drones?!? Why the M.I. soldiers don't have theirs???
probably cause the Federation is more worried about non-citizens causing issues back home than the bugs

MI have to be armed in the millions and deployed across hundreds of worlds
Police are presumably planetary only and get modern day police budgets (if not more than modern day).
@@KillerOrca Plus this is the future so technology has advanced so drones make sense. I can't see drones being super useful to the MI except for scouting and acting as spotters for artillery or aircraft strikes

Looks like they did a bit of rebalancing/animation tweaks too. MI troopers dont drop their rifles after firing a burst, and the grenades they have seem a LOT faster and just overall better.

@@antcow1239 I don't know much about the lore of Starship Troopers, I only ever watched the first movie. But I guess just sending in wave after wave of infantry was rather fitting.
