This actually works. I don't know why and how but it actually works. Although it does not appear to make sense, the method is proved useful on a Redmi unit. Thank you for sharing this. It has saved me a lot headaches from hereon.
Now, it's already 2023 and Android is already past its 10th-year maturity, why is there no explicit setting yet for a default SMS SIM yet? That kind of maturity is so basic. 😞

There is a short cut for doing this in red mi note 10 go to the messages app type the message then long press the send button and it's going to give you an option for changing sim cards

Faith Mwangi Thanks for your Kind Comment But i think that method Changes SimCard Only for that particular Contact not for All Contacts.And Here we are choosing SimCard for Whole Contacts as default.I would love to be corrected if still i am wrong.Thanks
