I love the couple but hate the over-the-top machinations. Her master seems crazy. Her senior apprentice has turned into a warmongering jerk. Rong Yu is somehow a military genius. The fight scenes are gruesome. There is no reason for him to still feel he needs to commit suicide. To my mind these are all unnecessary plot twists. She's too unpredictable and he's too stoic.
