Hey Samantha, these are gorgeous! Pretty and sturdy looking. Thank you so much for all your teachings. Hope your week levels out, stay strong ❤I'm heading over now to buy you a coffee 💖
I love your videos! They are so easy to understand. I have been looking for premade links but nothing really appealed to me. So how to make the different links has made me so very happy. Thank you for giving us your time.
Love these components, you are so clever Sam 😊🥰👏🏻🌟I definitely want to make a set, earrings, bracelet and necklace 😍 thank you and stay cool. Give Glory hugs and kisses, he is such a cutie pie 🥰
Thank you Sam, for showing us your nice little link. Yes it’s very hot here in Norfolk to, like you, I’m trying to keep cool. Enjoy the rest of your week x❤
It took me a second to realize that I wasn't bending it far enough around :) This is really pretty, I hope that whatever is going on that is causing you stress, goes away..Your beach area is beautiful.
Not sure how I missed this video, but love these links! We’ve been having quite the summer weather here in Ontario…been up toward 30 with humidity making it feel closer to 40. Central air is a must. Can’t wait to try making these!
Thank you so much for another lovely link design! We have been boiling here in San Antonio , Texas since the beginning of May! Your videos are so wonderful to keep me inspired through the hot summer☺️🙏
I love this and appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to show us creative ways to use wire in order to make pretty jewelry. You're the best! ♥
SO doggon cute Samantha ! When you have been wrapping cabs as long as I have, you forget all the fun stuff that you can otherwise make, thank you for bringing me out of that serious mode to make things that will complement what I usually do. ♥️
Oh Samantha these are so cute. I just love them!!!! I think I'm going to make a bracelet and a pair of earrings to match. Thank you for letting us see little Glory on his walk. It's been so hot here, average 95 degrees during the day and about 74 degrees after dark. Today though we are getting rain, lots of rain plus thunder and lightening. My poor dogs dont like any of it at all. They want to be in my lap including my 80 lb lab/ pit mix. I almost forgot to mention your seaside, absolutely beautiful!!!! I hope you and your family are doing good. 😊
Oh Jeanetta! 80lbs??? Haha they have no idea of how much they weigh, do they 😍 Glory is doing very well, and getting back to his little walks. I do think he’s starting with a touch of senility, sadly, and I find him wandering around from room to room, when he doesn’t seem to know where he is. Poor old chap. Hope you’re not too uncomfortable in the heat. It’s cooling for us now, thank goodness 😅 Fondest regards to you and your family
I really enjoy your videos. Your instructions are very clear and the items are not only pretty, but also very useful and compatible with many designs. I am saving your videos for future projects.
@@samanthalatimer1 That is why I like your creations so much. They can be dressed up or down depending on what they are paired with. The best of both worlds. Not at all boring!
So my SAVED category on TH-cam is brimming with Samantha's videos. I need to list them under SAMANTHA in lieu of each one individually. This link would also be interesting as the "Eye" part of a hook-&-eye clasp. It's so interesting it could be part of an asymmetrical necklace that clasps in the front. It's too pretty to hide beneath a collar. Lovely!
What a smart idea. I would love to see how you made the blue bracelet. I live in Mississippi USA and the temp says 98 but it feels like 107 with the humidity.
I either use Renaissance Wax to protect it longer term, (especially if it’s a gift or for sale) or I just clean it before I wear it (if it’s mine and just being worn by me) ☺️
For these to be earrings, I notice one figure 8 faces front but when I attach the second one it faces to the side and so looks strange. Do I need to add a jump ring in between?!
I soo much love your videos with links. Been making several bracelets and a few necklaces, so far. Unfortunately I already broke my one-step-looper on stainless steele wire, it was pretty new. I made a necklace with links and 10 and 4 mm fluorite beads. Beautiful but I shouldn’t have used that expensive tool 😢 Love from Denmark 🥰🇩🇰. Lene
Lovely little link! I think your component videos are some of my favorites! They are so versatile and add a lot of interest. Btw do we have a facebook group going yet?
Sam, when doing these, mine come out like a dog's back legs. In fact, a lot of loops and curls I try to do are never in line. Always on the wobble. Been making or practicing for a year and have always done these wobbly creations which require a lot of manipulation Thank you
@samanthalatimer1 why are my jewellery component always bendy and not in line? I heard you speak about wrist movement and I think it may be that. I love copying the chain making you do however mine are out of line and I do a lot of manipulation to complete a small heart for example. Thanks
@@jackiefirth2254 wrist movement is honestly a great place to start. What I’d suggest is getting yourself some cheap aluminium wire, maybe 16g/1.25mm and practicing the wrist motions. Try and make it fluid and smooth as it helps to not keep moving the pliers as much. In my experience, if you move the pliers a lot, it can alter the position of the curves that you’re intending to make, if that makes sense? So grab some aluminium wire and literally just practice the rolling motion. Copper wire and a lot of the harder wires can be notoriously hard to work with if you have some grasp or dexterity issues, so I’d start there. Hope that helps 🥰
@@samanthalatimer1 I wasn't completing the circles. I tried it with a bit longer wire and was able to do it. My loopers look like yours, but the 6cm need to be a tad longer for my loopers. Thank you for you help. I love , love , love your channel .

What a smart idea. I would love to see how you made the blue bracelet. I live in Mississippi USA and the temp says 98 but it feels like 107 with the humidity.
I can a little tutorial on it if you’d think it would be useful? ☺️
I bought 16 gauge wire, it’s SO hard, I had lots of difficulty cutting it and making links😮
Try it with 18g. They will still look lovely, but I’d gently hammer the loops for stability ☺️
I've been working with copper and it tarnishes so fast. What do you do if anything to keep it shiny and copper colored?
I either use Renaissance Wax to protect it longer term, (especially if it’s a gift or for sale) or I just clean it before I wear it (if it’s mine and just being worn by me) ☺️
Hi Samantha hope you well.
Well I've managed to do the wire links now I'm lost not sure how to link other bits to it. Can you help please.
I’m recording a video in the next couple of days to show how to make the blue links etc., as I’ve had a few people ask for it. Bear with me 🥰
For these to be earrings, I notice one figure 8 faces front but when I attach the second one it faces to the side and so looks strange. Do I need to add a jump ring in between?!
Or just reverse the direction in which you rotate around the pliers? I think that’s what you mean? I’ll have a look later today 🥰
Trying this tonight, but don’t have 16 gage. Can I use 20 gage?
20g may be a little thin for these so I’d use a nylon or rawhide hammer to work hardened, and see how you get along 🥰
