To clear up some confusion I have been seeing in the comments: you cannot die after spawning and falling. You can take limb damage, but you can't take any health damage. This is called spawn immunity, and it was added to the game when survival servers were live to discourage the spawn camping that was happening at train stations. I have multiple sky camps myself, and I have never taken any damage loading into mine, even though I always fall the first time. What usually happens when you load into a sky camp is your character will load in while the camp is still rendering, so your character will fall to the ground. As I said, you may take limb damage if you don't have adamantium skeleton equipped, but you won't take any health damage. You now know the camp is up in the sky and that falling is possible if the player logs out or disconnects. You have two choices: fast travel again now that the camp is loaded in (with or without precautions to avoid death), or you can choose to NOT fast travel to the camp again. All you have to do is not click on the camp, and then not click fast travel, and you won't go up there. I saw a couple comments calling these entirely avoidable situations traps. Kinda like calling train tracks a trap after you get hit by a train on them, no? I wanted to add for those who don't know that there are some cool things you can do to avoid fall damage! There is a third star legendary called acrobats that makes you take 50% less fall damage. Get this on two pieces of armor, and you will take zero fall damage! It's pretty nifty, and helpful for jetpacking about. @@misterchurch666 wow, people are still butt hurt by trap camps? In 850 levels I have only seen one. I was more impressed with how the trap worked than upset about losing video game items. It's even more irritating to see the attitude in the builders community. 9/10 times if you go back and be cool about it, you'll get your stuff back. That's what I did and I didn't just get my stuff back but the other players showed me some of the tricks they used, which I didn't know at the time. I know it can suck to die in this game but there's bugs and lagging that can kill you more than the random trap camps. Do you know how many times I've died just from swapping builds? So why waste time and energy getting mad about dying to some dumb shit?

Banning account should NEVER be automated. An account getting perma banned should be dom 100% manually. Getting imprisoned or fined in court isn't done by a robot so why should the time and money you put into a game you OWN be any different?
Totally agree. I had this issue with them 4 years ago. It’s because the player agrees to their TOS prior to playing F76. Yet what Bethesda neglects to acknowledge is the player buys the disc from a store without knowing or agreeing to Bethesda’s TOS in the first place = Bethesda is and has been acting illegally since day one. Funny thing is, no one (including myself) has bothered to take them to court for it yet.
One guy already did 2 years from AI recognition flagging an innocent and the cops did nothing but throw him in jail. Minority report has begun. Took 2 years to free him lol. This place going to hell lol
Unfortunatley no game we play is owned anymore you own temporary rights to play their game especially online only games which single player games now require online access even though its offline single player

I have fast travelled to camps and fallen to my death. I can see someone having this happen and reporting it as a trap camp. It would be great if we could designate a safe spawn point inside our camps.
In one way you can get a certain spawn point. Once you put your camp down travel away and travel back to see where you spawn in. If you don't like the spawn point move your camp point around and the spawn point should move.
@@scottshep8978that definitely doesn’t work the same for every camp. I have a camp where I spawn by some trees but every one else is the middle of the structure, making my vendor spot seem absolutely stupid coming from a different angle.
During the Closed and Open Betas there was a Fast Travel mat. It was removed at launch and years later had since been added to Workshops. If you put some “limiting range” to prevent traps from being placed within a certain lethal range of the mat, they could bring it back. I’d before it too, rather than messing with the camp placeable until it spawns people at my gate.
@@realncrranger Couldn't they just disable player damage from other's traps so they can only damage mobs? Or add an opt out, or just use the preexisting pacifist mode to disable damage... From there all they would have to do is be stricter and more straight about banning skyfall death camps...
I appreciate you covering this topic. I was one of the players that was banned. The more builders that talk about this topic the better. I hope Bethesda will create clear guidelines and post them officially somewhere so we can all know the rules.
That's too much to ask for considering it's Bethesda. Having a camp that floats has been a thing since the beginning, the only thing getting me into 76 again was ghoul update. That doesn't come until March, and the game right now kinda still sucks.
Not sure if this helps, but a player on Reddit made a post that he was banned for a sky camp, then someone in the comments told him to contact the specialist customer support team, a few hours later he posted a new post, he was unbanned and showed the customer support ticket which said Bethesda has removed the sky camp
Who ever runs the atomshop needs to be fired. Not only is every item poorly priced, and the FOMO system being predatory and outdated, but these egregious errors and lack of information. Not to mention the sudden dumping of several bundles with important or good camp items in them, at ridiculous high prices, after months of useless boring bundles no one wanted and not allowing you to just buy certain items from the bundles so you don't have to pay an insane amount of money for a handful of stuff in these mountains of crap...
The entirety of the atomic shops design is predatory and doesn’t even have a policy in place or doesn’t try to prevent you from making an accidental purchase. I’m surprised there’s no class action lawsuit about this, there’s evidence all over enough to hold them accountable.
Most people don’t really complain, or do anything past complaining to warrant them to change the shop. If people stopped shilling 76, we wouldn’t have this problem.
Exactly, I had to buy the entire Army Bundle so I could get the Army Base Kit, I didn’t want the Puke colour camo carpet, or the shooting target. Luckily I already had the Army posters and miniatures.

Who on earth would do something like this to another player? Reporting a camp that has taken so many hours to visualise and build, and for what? But, what is the most disgusting is that a multibillion dollar company shows this much total disregard for their Community - without whom, they would not exist in the first place. I'm still kinda salty over their repurposing season rewards into atom shop items. We put in the time and effort, now any dingle can just buy them for atoms.
I like it as a newer player it's gives me a chance and tons of other people to get some of the items we missed out on its lazy for them to put it in the weekly shop they could do it by request but everyone should have the chance to get those items not everyone has time to complete full seasons aswell even if they played since day one
I’m mad they are selling us fallout 4 assets in the atom shop and giving them as season rewards. Like the mirelurk steamers was in far harbor. Many items are like this.
@@grogu411 The Mirelurk Steamer was just background in Fallout 4 : Far Harbor with no way to interact with it. Now it provides you with excellent buffs if you're a carnivore. I wish they would bring in some more assets that we can use, as long as it doesn't break the lore. Then again, this game is constantly straying from it all the time. They've brought in quite of bit of assets from the other games when FO76 was launched and yes there was backlash for it at first. Now players just look at it and shrug their shoulders and ask themselves 'do I want to buy it or not'? or 'will it look good in my camp'?

I tend to agree. The way it decides what gets shown and what doesn't.. then players voting on absolute shit that took someone 15 minutes to throw together, meanwhile you've got masterpieces that its obvious someone has spent several hours on getting 0 likes... I think the intention of the system is nice but just like so many other things in the history of this game, the execution just comes off as half assed.

Everyone should have the steamer! I use mine for the smoked meat off of it that gives a extra 60-75 carry weight if you are a carnivore. If you get it a freezer is great also so you can stash 50 of them in that and have permanent exta weight and help friends with it also.
It’s weird that carnivore players have so many resources for them, and herbivores get barely anything. Also, it’s annoying that cryo/fridge is attached to your storage as it eliminates the no spoil timer everytime you open your storage box…

The Counter ticks down everytime that you are on a server or join a server that cant place your camp that has the Freezer. So if you have a Freezer in Camp 1 but Camp 2 is active (Has no freezer) than the Timer ticks down. Or is that really a thing that I missed?
When i started playing and getting into camp building, your videos taught me a lot, so thank you. Your video where you built a secret bunker in the mire inspired me to look for in world stuff to build in or around. I've been camped under the bridge south of Gorge Junkyard since. It is a popular area, but I've never seen anyone else build under there and would love to see what you can do. It's a really cool spot. I've found how to get a 6x4 floor under there, and with snapped walls or free place walls, you can build around the pillars, and junk walls work great as well.

Sometimes people who build the sky camps have a fast travel location that has no support and people drop from a high height and die. If they are carrying scrap items they could potentially lose them. I can understand people being annoyed about that for sure.
this is not correct, actually. You cannot die when fast traveling somewhere, even if you were to fall from the top of the skybox to the ground. Ever since survival servers were live, you have spawn immunity for 30 seconds after loading in. You can take limb damage, but you can't die
I've seen flying camps placed close enough to events then it's loaded up with nothing but rocket launchers. Then the entire time we're doing the event one section is just pummeled with rockets from the floating platform. So in cases like this I can see why they are cracking down on them.

I’m also glad to hear they love Sky camps (but also love torturing those who build them w/bans -psych not banned now). I spawn into different spots at my own camp so can’t blame falling to my death at sky camps on the builder. I just dust myself off, try again, or maybe just prance happily away w/my I’m cooler than u glowing unicorn mask ;)
issue with best builds is even if you build legit, you will be banned, because the ban system is based on reports, what will people do when they are pissed off a best build is in their camp spot? will they hop servers? nope they will report your ass cause people are petty assholes, that is the main issue here...
Thanks again for doing these. The Rhododendron Vase does not take materials to build, it is the prettier Valentines Day Bouquet that is a PITA to build. Lol @ Temu version of masks! My biggest gripe is that they don't separate out enough items. I really want the neon weapon displays only, but they are in two separate bundles at 1800 and 1500 Atoms each! No way! Thing is, if they did do that, they would probably make more money because a lot of people can't math so they would buy all the separate items and pay a higher total. Nobody ever accused them of being clever when it comes to the Atom shop.
As for the Atom Shop, it is a good job their are people out there creating content to warn other players. 🔎 I have said from the start Best Builds, is a bad idea. A camp building system that is broken, with many items not usable, after paying money to buy atoms to buy an item. The normal response is, we are aware and are working on a fix. Best Builds is also the best way for Bethesda to find out and "fix" the ingenious ways people have made camps. The flying camps, when they are built in a location purely to show the skills of the builder, fine. When you have flying camps built over PUBLIC EVENT areas that kill everything below and you have players constantly launching Mini Nukes and orbital strike beacons on all below. the banning of flying camps is 100% justified.
Blows my mind that companies dont understand if they just make quality priducts, they'll make more money. They put out slop to try to fuck over their customers when they could just do their job and put out something of quality and make way more
If I may, having 'items listed out of order' could indicate that the listers/writers/technicians/editors have English as their non-native language - I have seen this occur in games that have other languages as their primary language - eg. French, Russian, etc. This can also be applied to the listing and re-listing items in a different bundle later on in time, in an attempt to sell it again; this is a very Eastern approach to re-selling items. BTW i love your slightly-pissed-off verbalization and sarcastic wording in all your videos when it occurs. Very enjoyable.
10:09 the whole “impacting the status of the server” doesn’t really make any sense as the sky camp is using the same amount of space as ground camps. It’s the bloody engine that can’t handle the dumb workarounds you have to do make unique builds to begin with… Also, the server still crashes despite no sky camps being on the server, so am I too assume someone’s camp was build abit too well, which negatively affects the game? There’s just no point talking to any studio, because it’s PR non-answer, after PR non-answer.
I love your works huge fan. I love the absolute bluntness in your commentaries and how you manage to make sure that all your work is informative and true to the word thank you for clearing it up on the Sky basis myself I personally don’t build them and it was nice also to see someone else had noticed that the bundles aren’t labelled clear enough. I mean think about it. How many items have people missed because it’s not actually labelled correctly and considering the drop-down order items in the website are very limited still you think I’d be a bit more cautious on what people are spending on for example my wife has gone. There are two thumbnails with the military camp bundle ones labelled military camp 14 and the other one is labelled Fortressarmy camp and yet the images still match no difference
The fusion core recharger was also a scoreboard item when the Pitt first came out, for fallout first memebers only.. it’s how I have one I will say though, the decision that was made this week that makes the least sense to me is the light em up skin bundle. There is a light em up paint for the Gat plas. Everyone is using them right now and they just left that out of the pack? You know how much money they literally threw away yesterday by doing that.
I have an idea why these camps may have been reported and received Bethesda attention. My guess is that people were getting these "visit a best build camp" on the dailies and when loading into the sky camps they are falling out of the sky and dying. That could have ruffled a few feathers. Has happened to me a few times but I just laugh and chalk it up to random 76 moments.
Personally I reroll every bust build requirement cos I flat out refuse to have anything to do with it. Such a stupid idea to block camps of active players for the sake of someone showing what they've put together, just go play Minecraft if that's what you wanna do
That’s the engine where everything takes forever to load. Star field had this problem also, so it’s really Bethesda’s own fault for making player creativity seem like the monster here…
despite what many people are saying, you can't die from falling while loading in from a fast travel. you can cripple your limbs, but you don't take damage. the reason people are reporting them is because they see floating camps and their brain does this quick equation: float + camp = exploit exploit = bad + mean therefore: float + camp = mean + bad and then they spend the rest of their days raging against the dying light, only the dying light is their monitor bc they forgot to pay the electric bill because they were too busy policing everyone else while simultaneously telling them if they don't like something, to not play the game.
Showing inside of the wall from the "Season 14 Army Bundle" in the Atomic Shop is beyond my understanding. The order of names of the bundled items not following the order of items showed in the preview window is a bonus ofc! 💩💩💩
They need to give us better tools for building like tools to build underground/and sky hell even merging needs its own mechanics because these tools they say we use are actually flaws in the game to make camps what we see today so HEY BETHESDA give us the correct mechanics for these things update the ring size also or give us the option to pick the size of the ring we want to place I remember the days when they promised us that we could build and link are camps with our friends together to make one bug settlement

23:00… You pay for that bundle and get exclusivity until they open it up to the atom shop. I felt the same way about season items from past scoreboards. But you pay/earn exclusivity for a short period of time.
I wouldn’t have as much of an issue if that were more clear. If I had known the wall kit that came with that bundle WAS exclusive, I may have gotten the bundle for that. But since I don’t know that, I won’t

Like the abandoned caravans in the south, the content isn't relevant to the daily grind - and if they did make it relevant (like they try with Daily Ops, Mutated Events and used to try with Expeditions) people just reroll or speedrun. Most people want more activities that are impactful on the map while they are logged in, and less one-and-done content farming for random plans.

Been working on building my Fasnacht Jester/Man mask clown museum. Imagine my joy with the Fasnacht bundle. I’ve been wanting the clown masks but haven’t seen them, so I bought this bundle in a heartbeat ☺️ also for me, I don’t have any rare masks 😭 so it’s good for players like me who haven’t had the good fortune of being so lucky
I love the Root Cellar Shelter!! I made it look like an actual cellar at the entrance, with random items that would be stored in a room like that, but when you move further into the first room, I turned it into a torture chamber, but when you pass through the crack in the wall, the big open area I turned into a cultist retreat! There’s sleeping quarters, prayer rooms, and a pulpit for meetings… and a stairway that goes up to a mothman throne! It’s fun! I’m from Utah, so I like to pretend that’s what it looks like under a Mormon temple 🤣🤣
I have, nor ever will, have a sky camp build. I think they’re awesome, just too time consuming for me (I’m weird like that lol). Anyways, the ban is dumb, & a reminder of why I only play 76 as a minor past time. I play way other, more better games, 76 is just “there” for me. Bethesda long since has been dead to me, I hope others continue to have fun though. For me, it’s also been a good reminder that you should spend your valuable time & money elsewhere tbh, no matter how “cool” stuff looks. I know, I’m one to speak after spending money in the shop, I recognize I was part of the problem & I stopped after I realized how truly cringe it was. See, I grew up in an era where you got bonus content for FREE, poster were sold with games or cool stickers, actual cool pre order items….good times. I know those times are gone, & you can still get “free” items, but what’s the point? Even when the “free” stuff isn’t really that much of a benefit to the players. Anyways, that’s just my opinion though, I’ve long since looked at the gaming industry as a whole sinking ship, & I’ve just been vibin from afar. Good luck to anyone who still has hope tho ✌🏻😅💝
I mean at this point its intentional right? Them showing you pictures in the wrong order, or the pictures themselves not actually showing what is for sale or doing so in a way where its difficult to tell exactly what its trying to show you. I mean the atomic shop is THE thing that keeps this game alive right? Is there not a guy who's entire job is to quality control this even just a little bit? There isn't someone there who is like "hey guys this picture we're using for this item isn't very clear, can we go spend 30 seconds and load it up on our dev build so we can get a clearer screen capture for it? No? Just ship it? ok.. I'm completely fine with them remashing old items together and calling it a "new bundle" I don't expect brand new items every single week, but what I do expect is just a little bit of professionalism, come on guys.... we want to love your game, we want to buy these things from you.. could you not just spend 30 minutes to an hour cleaning this shit up before you put it on there?.

I too wish for legacy stuff hard to get fun to flaunt. Something so cool people come up and say “wow how ya get that!”
I understand how this increases server load times for different cells, however outright banning accounts for being creative with builds is such a bad approach. Either remove the exploit or make the servers more stable for camps like this. Otherwise, one might run afoul of deceptive marketing when deleting accounts with atoms attached or microtransactions. Enough reports from concerned people losing their real-world money with their accounts is not a good look.
The engine can’t handle this, so updating the servers won’t do anything. It’s all Bethesda inability to comprehend their ambitions, and instead just continuing to keep something alive when it’s clearly already at its limit..
I'm pretty pissed actually with the root shelter bundle because I saw the vines on the glass walls and thought they had finally brought back the greenhouse walls and bought the bundle only to be brought to the harsh realization that it was actually nothing more than the vines that were on the greenhouse walls... and even that was disappointing as I then tried putting it on some of their prefabs and I couldn't even get it to attach. Needless to say, I am not pleased.
Mr. Church you have once again brighten my day by simply rippin BGS a new one. I too feel the way they've been treating the player base is nothing less than disrespectful. The PR team(not just the advertisements team) has done an abysmal job at giving a decent answer as to why anyone has been ban from the game. These halfwitted PR appeasement post don't give any information at all. The fact that the player base is simply allowing them to sweep this under the rug is a complete letdown. This is an issue that shouldn't be let go it needs to be pushed, answer needs to be given. If it's an internal problem with the shitty best build system then it need to be removed and fixed. If sky camps are soooooooo loooooved by the devs than it should have been addressed during coding of the best builds to not be included as a banable offense in the first place. Honestly as soon as the build aspect was put in play they should have been under the assumption that someone would figure out how to float and sink camps. Things like these are stuff players will find a way to do. That's part of the fun is finding ways to "break" game logic. It's second nature to us. Devs used to have that same passion until they made their passion their job and found out bureaucracy kills passion and creativity. It is my full belief that BGS is simply trying to kill the game to make way for their new line of bullshit bug fill half complete steaming piles of scorched beast dung. I mean it's taken years to make this game as good as it is and we still can't get a decent overhaul to the build menu. But instead we get ingame content like the "caravans and the best build system" which are in no way shape form or fashion good. It's a spit in our faces and we are just standing there taken it asking for more with smiles on our faces and it needs to stop. It is always so satisfying watching your videos calling out Bethesdas BS and just general scumminess. I get so tired of these fake ass TH-camrs who think everything is hunky dory
I had a floating game for a while. It wasn't as fun as I thought it's be honestly. I assumed being so high up protected me from enemy spans but it didn't and it pretty much got annoying having to make sure I spawned somewhere else before closing my game, otherwise I would load in and fall the way down, which causes a crippling animation that I have to wait until i can use a stimpak to heal, then wait for the camp to load, then respawn back. All that just to have a cool camp in the sky wasn't worth it. Plus the fact you have to carefully plan out your build ahead of time as once it's up there, you can't change any walls or floors, meaning you are stuck with your design until deletion.
Thanks for the video! I am sure that Bethesda would point to language in their ToS as ‘proof’ that certain things aren’t okay. But that isn’t really fair to the players. There are some grey areas, and some clarity would go a long way. Are floating CAMPs included in that vague language? Well, why not just specifically say so, since obviously players are unsure. I've been swapping back and forth from Fallout 4 and 76 , and I'm 98.625% positive that they haven't made a new item for 76 . Maybe a few here and there . Which is completely fine ! But when you just take a file of said item and change the color a little , you'd think we would get something different in the Atomic shop. Like .. why are we being that lazy . Between Far Harbor and Nuka World DLC , its like a copy and paste lol And thank you for buying the bundle . I've been missing those wooden catwalks since they took them away from us .
Love the vids, always get a like from me. Though i haven't played in a couple of years, because the issues youve been calling out recently.. Loved making immersive camps (wouldnt turn on the camp icon) so when players would stumble upon them and seeing/getting their reaction, but so many things stopped making sense (like the boat) that i had to quit. When 99% of everything good is stuck behind atomshit paywalls that sometimes make no sense, some insanely grindy season pass, or some boring repetitive rng quest (rng gods almost always said im not worthy lol), it stopped being fun for me.
Listening to you driving yourself towards utter madness kind of makes me glad I was screwed over by Bethesda years ago and stopped buying atom shop stuff.

I love the editorializing in the CM quotes, uwu. If you use letters in your shelter they won't sink. It seems they only sink in the overworld when they get redrawn.
They’ll ban sky camps but they won’t rework the buggy base building in this game which is a complete DOWNGRADE from Fallout 4. Don’t get me started on the useless turrets.
You want more trap camps? Because that's how you get more trap camps. On another note, if you place your camp module on a catwalk on your sky camp, everyone will always spawn on that catwalk.
There is a designed spawn point, but it’s based on your camp module’s location. I understand what you’re talking about, but it does still exist. Regardless, it doesn’t matter if one was made, because the problem is with the engine loading things in. It’s far too slow and you’ll still end up falling to your death.
Spawn points for the Camp owner is different than the spawn point for other players. So the best you can do is sit around and wait to see where other people spawn in at, and try to adjust from there.
To clear up some confusion I have been seeing in the comments: you cannot die after spawning and falling. You can take limb damage, but you can't take any health damage. This is called spawn immunity, and it was added to the game when survival servers were live to discourage the spawn camping that was happening at train stations. I have multiple sky camps myself, and I have never taken any damage loading into mine, even though I always fall the first time.
What usually happens when you load into a sky camp is your character will load in while the camp is still rendering, so your character will fall to the ground. As I said, you may take limb damage if you don't have adamantium skeleton equipped, but you won't take any health damage. You now know the camp is up in the sky and that falling is possible if the player logs out or disconnects. You have two choices: fast travel again now that the camp is loaded in (with or without precautions to avoid death), or you can choose to NOT fast travel to the camp again. All you have to do is not click on the camp, and then not click fast travel, and you won't go up there. I saw a couple comments calling these entirely avoidable situations traps. Kinda like calling train tracks a trap after you get hit by a train on them, no?
I wanted to add for those who don't know that there are some cool things you can do to avoid fall damage! There is a third star legendary called acrobats that makes you take 50% less fall damage. Get this on two pieces of armor, and you will take zero fall damage! It's pretty nifty, and helpful for jetpacking about.

@@misterchurch666 wow, people are still butt hurt by trap camps? In 850 levels I have only seen one. I was more impressed with how the trap worked than upset about losing video game items. It's even more irritating to see the attitude in the builders community. 9/10 times if you go back and be cool about it, you'll get your stuff back. That's what I did and I didn't just get my stuff back but the other players showed me some of the tricks they used, which I didn't know at the time. I know it can suck to die in this game but there's bugs and lagging that can kill you more than the random trap camps. Do you know how many times I've died just from swapping builds? So why waste time and energy getting mad about dying to some dumb shit?

Totally agree. I had this issue with them 4 years ago. It’s because the player agrees to their TOS prior to playing F76. Yet what Bethesda neglects to acknowledge is the player buys the disc from a store without knowing or agreeing to Bethesda’s TOS in the first place = Bethesda is and has been acting illegally since day one. Funny thing is, no one (including myself) has bothered to take them to court for it yet.

I have fast travelled to camps and fallen to my death. I can see someone having this happen and reporting it as a trap camp. It would be great if we could designate a safe spawn point inside our camps.
In one way you can get a certain spawn point. Once you put your camp down travel away and travel back to see where you spawn in. If you don't like the spawn point move your camp point around and the spawn point should move.
@@scottshep8978that definitely doesn’t work the same for every camp. I have a camp where I spawn by some trees but every one else is the middle of the structure, making my vendor spot seem absolutely stupid coming from a different angle.
During the Closed and Open Betas there was a Fast Travel mat. It was removed at launch and years later had since been added to Workshops. If you put some “limiting range” to prevent traps from being placed within a certain lethal range of the mat, they could bring it back. I’d before it too, rather than messing with the camp placeable until it spawns people at my gate.

That's too much to ask for considering it's Bethesda. Having a camp that floats has been a thing since the beginning, the only thing getting me into 76 again was ghoul update. That doesn't come until March, and the game right now kinda still sucks.
Not sure if this helps, but a player on Reddit made a post that he was banned for a sky camp, then someone in the comments told him to contact the specialist customer support team, a few hours later he posted a new post, he was unbanned and showed the customer support ticket which said Bethesda has removed the sky camp

Who ever runs the atomshop needs to be fired. Not only is every item poorly priced, and the FOMO system being predatory and outdated, but these egregious errors and lack of information. Not to mention the sudden dumping of several bundles with important or good camp items in them, at ridiculous high prices, after months of useless boring bundles no one wanted and not allowing you to just buy certain items from the bundles so you don't have to pay an insane amount of money for a handful of stuff in these mountains of crap...

I like it as a newer player it's gives me a chance and tons of other people to get some of the items we missed out on its lazy for them to put it in the weekly shop they could do it by request but everyone should have the chance to get those items not everyone has time to complete full seasons aswell even if they played since day one

@@grogu411 The Mirelurk Steamer was just background in Fallout 4 : Far Harbor with no way to interact with it. Now it provides you with excellent buffs if you're a carnivore. I wish they would bring in some more assets that we can use, as long as it doesn't break the lore. Then again, this game is constantly straying from it all the time. They've brought in quite of bit of assets from the other games when FO76 was launched and yes there was backlash for it at first. Now players just look at it and shrug their shoulders and ask themselves 'do I want to buy it or not'? or 'will it look good in my camp'?

Everyone should have the steamer! I use mine for the smoked meat off of it that gives a extra 60-75 carry weight if you are a carnivore. If you get it a freezer is great also so you can stash 50 of them in that and have permanent exta weight and help friends with it also.
Too bad food in freezer goes in stash. I have no room & have to carry all food & chems... I would love to save some up food /sigh

It’s weird that carnivore players have so many resources for them, and herbivores get barely anything. Also, it’s annoying that cryo/fridge is attached to your storage as it eliminates the no spoil timer everytime you open your storage box…

The Counter ticks down everytime that you are on a server or join a server that cant place your camp that has the Freezer.
So if you have a Freezer in Camp 1 but Camp 2 is active (Has no freezer) than the Timer ticks down.

When i started playing and getting into camp building, your videos taught me a lot, so thank you. Your video where you built a secret bunker in the mire inspired me to look for in world stuff to build in or around. I've been camped under the bridge south of Gorge Junkyard since. It is a popular area, but I've never seen anyone else build under there and would love to see what you can do. It's a really cool spot. I've found how to get a 6x4 floor under there, and with snapped walls or free place walls, you can build around the pillars, and junk walls work great as well.

Sometimes people who build the sky camps have a fast travel location that has no support and people drop from a high height and die. If they are carrying scrap items they could potentially lose them. I can understand people being annoyed about that for sure.

this is not correct, actually. You cannot die when fast traveling somewhere, even if you were to fall from the top of the skybox to the ground. Ever since survival servers were live, you have spawn immunity for 30 seconds after loading in. You can take limb damage, but you can't die

I've seen flying camps placed close enough to events then it's loaded up with nothing but rocket launchers. Then the entire time we're doing the event one section is just pummeled with rockets from the floating platform. So in cases like this I can see why they are cracking down on them.

I’m also glad to hear they love Sky camps (but also love torturing those who build them w/bans -psych not banned now). I spawn into different spots at my own camp so can’t blame falling to my death at sky camps on the builder. I just dust myself off, try again, or maybe just prance happily away w/my I’m cooler than u glowing unicorn mask ;)

Thanks again for doing these. The Rhododendron Vase does not take materials to build, it is the prettier Valentines Day Bouquet that is a PITA to build. Lol @ Temu version of masks! My biggest gripe is that they don't separate out enough items. I really want the neon weapon displays only, but they are in two separate bundles at 1800 and 1500 Atoms each! No way! Thing is, if they did do that, they would probably make more money because a lot of people can't math so they would buy all the separate items and pay a higher total. Nobody ever accused them of being clever when it comes to the Atom shop.

I have said from the start Best Builds, is a bad idea. A camp building system that is broken, with many items not usable, after paying money to buy atoms to buy an item. The normal response is, we are aware and are working on a fix. Best Builds is also the best way for Bethesda to find out and "fix" the ingenious ways people have made camps.
The flying camps, when they are built in a location purely to show the skills of the builder, fine. When you have flying camps built over PUBLIC EVENT areas that kill everything below and you have players constantly launching Mini Nukes and orbital strike beacons on all below. the banning of flying camps is 100% justified.
I am taking a long break from Fallout 76, but it is good to know they have remained consistent 😕
Blows my mind that companies dont understand if they just make quality priducts, they'll make more money. They put out slop to try to fuck over their customers when they could just do their job and put out something of quality and make way more

If I may, having 'items listed out of order' could indicate that the listers/writers/technicians/editors have English as their non-native language - I have seen this occur in games that have other languages as their primary language - eg. French, Russian, etc.
This can also be applied to the listing and re-listing items in a different bundle later on in time, in an attempt to sell it again; this is a very Eastern approach to re-selling items.
BTW i love your slightly-pissed-off verbalization and sarcastic wording in all your videos when it occurs. Very enjoyable.

10:09 the whole “impacting the status of the server” doesn’t really make any sense as the sky camp is using the same amount of space as ground camps. It’s the bloody engine that can’t handle the dumb workarounds you have to do make unique builds to begin with… Also, the server still crashes despite no sky camps being on the server, so am I too assume someone’s camp was build abit too well, which negatively affects the game?

I love your works huge fan. I love the absolute bluntness in your commentaries and how you manage to make sure that all your work is informative and true to the word thank you for clearing it up on the Sky basis myself I personally don’t build them and it was nice also to see someone else had noticed that the bundles aren’t labelled clear enough. I mean think about it. How many items have people missed because it’s not actually labelled correctly and considering the drop-down order items in the website are very limited still you think I’d be a bit more cautious on what people are spending on for example my wife has gone. There are two thumbnails with the military camp bundle ones labelled military camp 14 and the other one is labelled Fortressarmy camp and yet the images still match no difference

I will say though, the decision that was made this week that makes the least sense to me is the light em up skin bundle.
There is a light em up paint for the Gat plas. Everyone is using them right now and they just left that out of the pack? You know how much money they literally threw away yesterday by doing that.
I have an idea why these camps may have been reported and received Bethesda attention. My guess is that people were getting these "visit a best build camp" on the dailies and when loading into the sky camps they are falling out of the sky and dying. That could have ruffled a few feathers. Has happened to me a few times but I just laugh and chalk it up to random 76 moments.
Personally I reroll every bust build requirement cos I flat out refuse to have anything to do with it. Such a stupid idea to block camps of active players for the sake of someone showing what they've put together, just go play Minecraft if that's what you wanna do
That’s the engine where everything takes forever to load. Star field had this problem also, so it’s really Bethesda’s own fault for making player creativity seem like the monster here…
despite what many people are saying, you can't die from falling while loading in from a fast travel. you can cripple your limbs, but you don't take damage. the reason people are reporting them is because they see floating camps and their brain does this quick equation:
float + camp = exploit
exploit = bad + mean
therefore: float + camp = mean + bad
and then they spend the rest of their days raging against the dying light, only the dying light is their monitor bc they forgot to pay the electric bill because they were too busy policing everyone else while simultaneously telling them if they don't like something, to not play the game.

Showing inside of the wall from the "Season 14 Army Bundle" in the Atomic Shop is beyond my understanding. The order of names of the bundled items not following the order of items showed in the preview window is a bonus ofc! 💩💩💩
They need to give us better tools for building like tools to build underground/and sky hell even merging needs its own mechanics because these tools they say we use are actually flaws in the game to make camps what we see today so HEY BETHESDA give us the correct mechanics for these things update the ring size also or give us the option to pick the size of the ring we want to place

Most people want more activities that are impactful on the map while they are logged in, and less one-and-done content farming for random plans.

Been working on building my Fasnacht Jester/Man mask clown museum. Imagine my joy with the Fasnacht bundle. I’ve been wanting the clown masks but haven’t seen them, so I bought this bundle in a heartbeat ☺️ also for me, I don’t have any rare masks 😭 so it’s good for players like me who haven’t had the good fortune of being so lucky
I love the Root Cellar Shelter!! I made it look like an actual cellar at the entrance, with random items that would be stored in a room like that, but when you move further into the first room, I turned it into a torture chamber, but when you pass through the crack in the wall, the big open area I turned into a cultist retreat! There’s sleeping quarters, prayer rooms, and a pulpit for meetings… and a stairway that goes up to a mothman throne! It’s fun!
I’m from Utah, so I like to pretend that’s what it looks like under a Mormon temple 🤣🤣
I have, nor ever will, have a sky camp build. I think they’re awesome, just too time consuming for me (I’m weird like that lol). Anyways, the ban is dumb, & a reminder of why I only play 76 as a minor past time. I play way other, more better games, 76 is just “there” for me. Bethesda long since has been dead to me, I hope others continue to have fun though.
For me, it’s also been a good reminder that you should spend your valuable time & money elsewhere tbh, no matter how “cool” stuff looks. I know, I’m one to speak after spending money in the shop, I recognize I was part of the problem & I stopped after I realized how truly cringe it was.
See, I grew up in an era where you got bonus content for FREE, poster were sold with games or cool stickers, actual cool pre order items….good times. I know those times are gone, & you can still get “free” items, but what’s the point? Even when the “free” stuff isn’t really that much of a benefit to the players.
Anyways, that’s just my opinion though, I’ve long since looked at the gaming industry as a whole sinking ship, & I’ve just been vibin from afar. Good luck to anyone who still has hope tho ✌🏻😅💝

I mean at this point its intentional right? Them showing you pictures in the wrong order, or the pictures themselves not actually showing what is for sale or doing so in a way where its difficult to tell exactly what its trying to show you.
I mean the atomic shop is THE thing that keeps this game alive right? Is there not a guy who's entire job is to quality control this even just a little bit? There isn't someone there who is like "hey guys this picture we're using for this item isn't very clear, can we go spend 30 seconds and load it up on our dev build so we can get a clearer screen capture for it? No? Just ship it? ok..
I'm completely fine with them remashing old items together and calling it a "new bundle" I don't expect brand new items every single week, but what I do expect is just a little bit of professionalism, come on guys.... we want to love your game, we want to buy these things from you.. could you not just spend 30 minutes to an hour cleaning this shit up before you put it on there?.

I understand how this increases server load times for different cells, however outright banning accounts for being creative with builds is such a bad approach. Either remove the exploit or make the servers more stable for camps like this.
Otherwise, one might run afoul of deceptive marketing when deleting accounts with atoms attached or microtransactions. Enough reports from concerned people losing their real-world money with their accounts is not a good look.

I'm pretty pissed actually with the root shelter bundle because I saw the vines on the glass walls and thought they had finally brought back the greenhouse walls and bought the bundle only to be brought to the harsh realization that it was actually nothing more than the vines that were on the greenhouse walls... and even that was disappointing as I then tried putting it on some of their prefabs and I couldn't even get it to attach. Needless to say, I am not pleased.
I love my root cellar though. I turned it into a cultist speakeasy. The vines didn’t attach tight to the walls tho. Still, looks pretty groovy.

Mr. Church you have once again brighten my day by simply rippin BGS a new one. I too feel the way they've been treating the player base is nothing less than disrespectful. The PR team(not just the advertisements team) has done an abysmal job at giving a decent answer as to why anyone has been ban from the game. These halfwitted PR appeasement post don't give any information at all. The fact that the player base is simply allowing them to sweep this under the rug is a complete letdown. This is an issue that shouldn't be let go it needs to be pushed, answer needs to be given. If it's an internal problem with the shitty best build system then it need to be removed and fixed. If sky camps are soooooooo loooooved by the devs than it should have been addressed during coding of the best builds to not be included as a banable offense in the first place.
Honestly as soon as the build aspect was put in play they should have been under the assumption that someone would figure out how to float and sink camps. Things like these are stuff players will find a way to do. That's part of the fun is finding ways to "break" game logic. It's second nature to us. Devs used to have that same passion until they made their passion their job and found out bureaucracy kills passion and creativity.
It is my full belief that BGS is simply trying to kill the game to make way for their new line of bullshit bug fill half complete steaming piles of scorched beast dung. I mean it's taken years to make this game as good as it is and we still can't get a decent overhaul to the build menu. But instead we get ingame content like the "caravans and the best build system" which are in no way shape form or fashion good. It's a spit in our faces and we are just standing there taken it asking for more with smiles on our faces and it needs to stop. Next thing you know Niki minaj skin will be in the shop in all her whorish glory.

I had a floating game for a while. It wasn't as fun as I thought it's be honestly. I assumed being so high up protected me from enemy spans but it didn't and it pretty much got annoying having to make sure I spawned somewhere else before closing my game, otherwise I would load in and fall the way down, which causes a crippling animation that I have to wait until i can use a stimpak to heal, then wait for the camp to load, then respawn back.
All that just to have a cool camp in the sky wasn't worth it. Plus the fact you have to carefully plan out your build ahead of time as once it's up there, you can't change any walls or floors, meaning you are stuck with your design until deletion.
You can indeed remove walls.

I am sure that Bethesda would point to language in their ToS as ‘proof’ that certain things aren’t okay. But that isn’t really fair to the players. There are some grey areas, and some clarity would go a long way. Are floating CAMPs included in that vague language? Well, why not just specifically say so, since obviously players are unsure.

I've been swapping back and forth from Fallout 4 and 76 , and I'm 98.625% positive that they haven't made a new item for 76 . Maybe a few here and there . Which is completely fine ! But when you just take a file of said item and change the color a little , you'd think we would get something different in the Atomic shop. Like .. why are we being that lazy . Between Far Harbor and Nuka World DLC , its like a copy and paste lol And thank you for buying the bundle . I've been missing those wooden catwalks since they took them away from us .

Love the vids, always get a like from me. Though i haven't played in a couple of years, because the issues youve been calling out recently.. Loved making immersive camps (wouldnt turn on the camp icon) so when players would stumble upon them and seeing/getting their reaction, but so many things stopped making sense (like the boat) that i had to quit. When 99% of everything good is stuck behind atomshit paywalls that sometimes make no sense, some insanely grindy season pass, or some boring repetitive rng quest (rng gods almost always said im not worthy lol), it stopped being fun for me.

They’ll ban sky camps but they won’t rework the buggy base building in this game which is a complete DOWNGRADE from Fallout 4. Don’t get me started on the useless turrets.
Bethesda should make it so we can place spawn points at our camp, then people wouldn't die when visiting sky camps and feel salty.

On another note, if you place your camp module on a catwalk on your sky camp, everyone will always spawn on that catwalk.
There was one already, but it was used to trap people. Lol now it gone.

There is a designed spawn point, but it’s based on your camp module’s location. I understand what you’re talking about, but it does still exist.
Regardless, it doesn’t matter if one was made, because the problem is with the engine loading things in. It’s far too slow and you’ll still end up falling to your death.

Maybe the complaints came from players who were dropped to their death upon spawn.... check your spawn points people!!!!
Spawn points for the Camp owner is different than the spawn point for other players. So the best you can do is sit around and wait to see where other people spawn in at, and try to adjust from there.
