I’ve never watched the movie this is from but what’s guided me away from needles is finding one while fishing with my little brother. We were at a camper park in Mississippi and while walking around, by a river, shoeless, we happened upon what was definitely a used heroin needle. Seeing that- how careless the person must’ve been to leave it where kids could fine it- is what will always keep me away from them.
