While kicking cancer's butt Minnie said " i just dont understand why i have cancer....im doing everything i can do to stay healthy". After accepting it it became easier to talk about in interviews. At some point she could only move one arm (though im not sure which one. Id have to watch a video 2 b sure). People who would help her get dressed (say backstage b4 a performance) said it was VERY PAINFUL 4 her but she endured it. " i ALWAYS "look @ a glass as 1/2 full" shed say. Some can say qhat they want but Minnie set the bar & ALL others come after her. She will b 4ever missed. Thankfully her legacy lives on & on. Rip Minnie 🙏❤🌺🌹⚘🌷👠🎤📻🎷🎸🎶🎵🎼🎺🎻🥁👠🌷⚘🌹🌺❤🙏
Minnie, get'n her groove on, many ppl associate her with sad, longing- music, but Minnie was so versatile, classically trained, could sing just about anything, & I luv her step'n out of that luv song genre, n2 the party zone. Awesome gurl, defenitely changed the game when she came on the scene, & was'nt there 4 very long either b4 cancer reared its ugly head.
So true I hate the fact that she is so underrated She had such a phenomenal talent and her music is just so good So sad they didnt take the time to listen to all her other songs and at least put out more of her albums , that way alot more people would know who she was or not just as the woman who sings that song called "lovin you" . I still feel she deserves her own biopic , it shouldve been done long time Look how aretha came and got one before my girl Minnie (not saying areatha doesnt deserve one ) . Minnie's life story was so unique and extraordinary
Minnie Rivers paved waves for the MARIAH'S AND many others, but most of all, it was her sensual diva stage presence and smooth spirited soundbites captured forward onto eternity 🌏🌬🌌💥🎼🌏🎵💥🎶💥🌌
Speaking of performances LOVE JOY it was said that in concert guys in the band had 2 catch up to her. She was singing & they were like "hey, wait a minute, what ?!? Oh, ok.🎵🎶🎤📻🎷🎸🎹🎺🎻🥁
She has to be one of the most expressive singers of all time !
She was feeling her music, love this performance...
Great song. Shows she was much more than just her hit song "Loving You".
