I have something Peter could have said to Ian when Ian said Lucy was the favourite "is this really what you think.i have spent most of my life helping you and Lucy.when Lucy was doing drugs and feeling miserable I was there for her cause if I came to you ,you would have thrown her out and called the police, most days I was in your shops helping you instead of going out with friends and it's still not enough.when it comes to kids dad you NEVER tell one of them they are the favourite child because it makes the other kids feel worthless I mean imagine If Bobby had heard you and he is just a small child.it could damage his mental health.i cant belive this.take all the respect I had for you and shove it. People killing "Fam" isn't as uncommon as you think. Where I lived a Man killed his Mother because she was so needy and demanding of his time. In the 1980's a Man killed his wife who had an advanced state of Alzheimer's and nobody knew about it back in the day. It was a mercy killing but the Jury didn't think so.
Check out Thom Bierdz who from 1983-1986 played Phillip Chancellor III on The Young & The Restless. His Brother Troy who is Schizophrenic killed their Mother and he's doing life and he still does not fully compehend the seriousness of what he did. Thom eventually came out, and is an Artist but his work shows such sadness and pain. It looks like something on the cover of a Horror Novel.

I also learned a very important Writing Fact. When a US Soap Child gets in trouble, He/She goes for counselling and if they go to Juvie it's like a Teen version of Camp Cupcake. A UK Soap Child does their "Time" like Bobby did. This was probably the most amazing "exit" of a Child. When they recasted Tom Hughes on As The World turns one of which left to do Mame on Broadway they always found a New Actor to play him. Also they never forgot Bobby. When they let Christian Siefert go on As The World Turns who played future Doctor Chris Hughes, they "talked" about him like they "talked" about Tracy on Coronation Street. They would say "Chris Is At Camp", "Chris Is At A Friend's House", "Chris Is At Baseball Practice" then we "See" him and he's all grown up.
Sadly enough Ben Jorgensen who played Chris Hughes as a College Student on As The World Turns recently killed himself who may have been depressed.

Ian could have said "When I was your age I didn't have a fraction of what you had, I had to work in Cafes from the time I was a Teenager, I had my share of ups and downs but I never did what you did, Leslie raised you like you were her own, and yet you were so ungrateful, is it because you miss your Real Mother, a lot of Women & Men would never raise a Child that isn't theirs but Jane was there she showed the precious love of a Mother, that's why Mother's Day is more important than Father's Day, , you broke up a Family, you destroyed a Family, and as for School there are Kids especially Girls in Third World Countries who can't go to School, who have to study in secret, look at those Girls who were held hostage and got pregnant in Africa, you couldn't keep up with those Posh Kids at that Private School, you wouldn't have their Money, you know how cruel Kids are when you don't have The Latest Toys, Fashions and god knows what else."
