Tbh yeah it would’ve had a bit of weight, but it doesn’t matter how heavy the thing is. (As long as it’s not soft and it’s dense) The person who hits the other person has the power to make them die or not. So it really just matters on how hard you hit them, sometimes it’s the way you hit them, but yeah.

Weather it was heavy or not, it hit lucy on her temple, and if you are hit hard enough you can die instantly. So that’s how she died bc he hit her right on the temple with the corner of the box, and left her for dead without even calling anyone until jane got home .

No he was sentenced to 3 plus 1 years but served 3 years In custody and 1 year out on license

In actual reality, if this did happen and the child is say 13, the murder of his sister would have occurred when the child was 5 years old and I don’t think he would have been charged due to the age of legal responsibility is I believe 12. Good storyline though

Why a detention centre
A detentions centre they just use that for a nicer why if saying prison for under 18
It would have actually been either a Secure Childrens Home, or a Secure Training Centre due to his young age, Youth Detention Accommodation is how it is described legally, it means he is not being detained with the local authority which would have been their other choice, this being decided against due to the severity of his crimes.
