Atarashii Gakko are just so much fun. You can't put them in a category. One minute you'll see them appearing along side heavy metal group Maximum the Hormone in Shimi and the next minute they are living their full funk era lives with Forever Sisters. Somehow for them it all works brilliantly. They are the most refreshing group in the world today.

You are one of the few reviewers that appreciates AG!'s choreography and dancing which always makes your take refreshing. What I like about AG!'s choreography is that it's unique. Other Japanese or Korean dance groups' performances can become very repetitive - I think because most professional choreographers end up being very conservative to please the commercial considerations of the agencies and artists. AG! were obviously trained as dancers, but I think they are self taught choreographers making their style original. It's also a collective endeavour with Mizyu documenting all the dances in a notebook. FYI did you notice the third position AG! get into when they line up diagonally away from the camera at 2:19, Suzuka has a bit of a bobble as she looks down at her feet.
This is the theme tune for a TV show called "What if Tokugawa Ieyasu Became Prime Minister?" It speculates what it would be like if famous historical figures returned to run the country. The "change" chant works well with the show's theme that expresses a desire to return to the "Pax Tokugawa" of the Edo period. AG! often subvert Japanese norms and their desire for people to be freer to express themselves and their emotions sort of goes along with this change theme, but AG! probably wouldn't have done well under Tokugawa.

Saw them live in Atlanta. They performed this song and it was the same choreo and energy. It was about an hour and twenty minutes set. And, included Suzuka in the crowd for Nai Nai Nai and crowd surfing back to the stage. I believe you would truly appreciate their stamina, joy and energy in giving their audience their best, every time!

You are right about the camera being the 5th dancer in this video. This is the first time I have seen camerawork that can keep up with AG's movements. Normally AG are doing something subtle but really difficult to do, and the camera is focusing on Suzuka sticking her tongue out.

    AG's choreo is so captivating, it's incredible❤
I think you would be interested in Ado's new idol group, Phantom Siita. They're retro horror themed, and their choreo can be amazing!!
