Yeap, AI has its place for interview type boys and it's saved my bacon a couple of times now but for motovlogging, it takes away the bike. It was a nice meet up that day, really enjoyed it. Good to hear you have found a really good bike shop.... Quite rare these days.
Glad you're so happy with the multistrada, also glad you managed to get the work done under warranty, that's very good customer service🙂 I've sold 2 bikes in the past to CMC Motorcycles, always very polite and easy to deal with. The timing of that false neutral😂 I like the look of the sporty screen 🙂 I agree, whilst the clearness of your voice is lovely, it does take away from the ride, I personally don't think your wind noise is that bad, I've watched a lot worse 😂 Great that you lot all live so close to each other so that you can crack on with these meets 👏 What a beautiful road, begging for a ZZR to be sent down there 🏍 Great video mate, hope you all had an awesome time🤘
Mate I feel the same about all you guys in your area, always looks like you're out on great group rides. We are blessed with some good roads down here, and I'm pretty sure the zzr would eat them up 😁👍
Great customer service and good job giving praise where praise is due. I have all sorts of wind noise issues with my set up at the moment, there's no way I would dare to do any sound stuff at 70mph 😢 so I may need some AI help because it's not happening naturally Awesome roads and I've had similar issues the past two weeks: anything shiny or wet looking could be ice and gives me the heebie jeebies. Then you go into a bend and the tyres slowly drift out on slippy muddy stuff 😬 it can be tense! I'm planning to stop at Moto Velo on my way to the West Country next time I come down 😊 All that talk of helmet buffering and buffetting and then thing got moist...
🤣 nothing wrong with some action around a moist helmet (too far?) We did miss you but understand its a fair trek. Had some great advice on here to use the ai sound as a layer over the normal sound, might help the higher speed vlogging 👍
I know of some channels that could do with AI to delete the voice 🤪 that might include mine 🤔 Ahh loving the gateway view 😍 So good to see you at MotoVelo, and it looks like you had a great ride down. Certainly less icy than mine 🧊
Mate it was a privilege again, I replied to ER and said I still get very star struck every time I am able to get face to face, it was a bit sketchy on the road wasn't it 😳
Looks & sounds like your loving your choice of machine here Phil & that section of road towards the end looked superb! 👍😎 Now I'm wondering what you got as a loan bike, while this was in at the garage? 😉 The little bro, Multistrada 950 has caught my eye I'll admit, while winter blues bike Internet shopping has reared its glorious head up here!!! 🤣👍 I plan to go ride 1 as soon as I get the chance! 😎👍
They have me a new yamagata tracer 7 which was a pretty good bike. Very easy to ride but felt very compact. The multi 950 is a better bike, much more usable and better at low speeds. Gets much better reviews than the 1200 but they hold their price really well so out of my budget 😔
@@wsmv I know what you mean about the Tracer 7,My CB500F feels like a clown bike a little bit, since I got my little but bigger in stature GS, which is pretty tall, wide & has a 32.87" seat height...Although I'm only blessed with a 30" pair of legs! 🤣😂👍 The Moto Guzzi V85TT is something else I was seriously considering, but a little bit on the slow & heavy group unfortunately as they're pretty cool! 👍😎
Glad to hear the bike was sorted with no arguments. It makes a difference doesn't it, and I bet you'd buy from there again. Not only that, you've told all of us how good they are up there too. Do you use PowerDirector to edit? I tried it on that and it did exactly the same as you got with the audio. Sounds like you're not on the bike. If they could get that wind noise adjustable, it would be bang on. Look forward to the next video👍
I will definitely use them again buddy, and I love to share good customer service because its so rare these days. I use kinemaster but I thinknits quite similar to power director. It does the job bit I'm not sure if I'll use the noise cancellation much 👍
Funny, I've been using an AI-style noise reduction plugin in Resolve for a while now... it's a shame that the one you're using doesn't have an adjustment. I agree, it sounds like voiceover when there's nothing but the voice, and if the ambient noise gets bad enough, it'll make your voice warbly and over-processed. That sunlight you were riding into, though? Very picturesque! The Duc looks good, man! That windshield looks sharp - literally!
@@wsmv Oh, I totally forgot that you're a phone editor! ROFL, yeah, there's gonna be limitations! Oh, also, in case you didn't know - Resolve has an iPad version, so if you have an iPad you could try it out :D
CMC Newport, excellent service. I've bought 2 bikes off them, never had any issues, great shop. That A.I. audio sounds cool, but, I agree, sounds to much like a studio dub
It's good to hear someone else getting the same great service. 👍 Yeah had a few good bits of advice how to get the most out of it though, doing a dual sound layer to boost the speech 👍
That noise reduction is too good!! You do sound like you’re in a room doing a voice over…. If there was someway to get a halfway between the 2, that would be awesome.
Awesome to get great customer service, and great to hear it being celebrated. It is def better having the ambient noise vs the full noise cancelling. I guess you could record ambient audio seperately and add it in editing, but adds a step and adds tech to need to charge etc. The low sun is beautiful, but it does stop it getting an angle on the ground to melt things away sadly, gotta be so carful in these temps as the road can be lovely until you get into a shady bit and then slip slide
🤣 bit of a last minute thing, next time I'll put a post up and see who wants to join 👍 Yeah you wouldn't think it would work but the lower screen creates less wind noise and turbulence around the lid 🤷♂️
Noise cancellation is great, but my one works OK for his voice, but apparently I am wind noise, every word I say dissappear 😂 so now you can say you know 'the wind' through youtube 😂😂😂
Nice day for a ride and a very nice place to ride to. Don't bother with the AI, you're right in saying it sounds like a studio overdub. I know those roads well and have included them in the ride I am leading in June. That view from the top of the hill is special.
We should definitely meet at moto vello again. It was nice to see you. I usually enjoy the ride but like you said, it was a bit 'moist' that day You was the first one to arrive as well.
I saw the title, laughed and immediately clicked. Yes i am a child. You are bang on about the audio AI, the moment you switched it on it really did spoil the video. Probably good if you record multiple audio sources perhaps. Shame the road conditions were not the best but its nice to see the sun for a change :)
🤣🤣 we are all children at heart, that's why we like fast bikes and silly moist jokes 🤣🤣 Yes a few people have mentioned layering the audio which might make it clearer but still ambient 👍
Are you still using the same editing software? You could split the audio so the voice is louder but have the original audio layered slightly quieter. Obviously more effort and will take longer but worth a try. I ditched my last video because of wind noise but not even the Matrix main computer could fix that mess 😅
It actually came fitted with puig, which is a great screen but doesn't give enough protection high up. Apparently its a known problem with the design of the multistrada and putting the smaller screen on really helps 👍
Sounds like you got great service from your dealer. The AI thing is amazing. Could you just overlay the same video track on top of each other in the edit. Remove all the background on one track and then reduce the volume on the track directly above? This would give clearer audio with reduced background.
The new sound setting will be perfect when we're all riding on a lithium battery when the only interesting noise you get out of it is when it explodes one day 😎👍
Glad you got the niggles sorted with the bike, but l am surprised they didn't find the disc problem before they sold it. Sound is better without the AI in my opinion bud 👍
Living in Tiverton I use the Tiverton/Bickleigh road quite a lot and the road surface is reasonable. However I must disagree with you on the condition of the Bickleigh/Crediton road, Weston. It's a disgrace covered in ridges, potholes, and a guaranteed sunken metal manhole cover on every corner. Even the military won't use it for fear of damaging their vehicles! The MV cafe in Crediton is a pleasant venue for a decent coffee.
I never knew that AI could make you sound drunk. 😀 I guess you could pull out that sound then mix it back with the original. I definitely prefer hearing the bike and wind noise.
For some reason youtube offered to translate your comment into English. I felt compelled to see what it thought you'd typed..... it just changed it to 'okay' 🤦♂️
Oh my god, what a difference! But you're right, it sounds like you dubbed it on afterwards, after shouting the commentary in your garden. Either on or off you say? So it's not intelligence then, just artificial.😏
Yeap, AI has its place for interview type boys and it's saved my bacon a couple of times now but for motovlogging, it takes away the bike.
