Reverb is much more audible bouncing off rock through dense water than bouncing off brick, stone or wood walls through air. That's why they don't use sonar above water. Having said that, the extended length of all the sounds in the song creates the illusion of reverb in a very, very big space, i.e. the ocean. :-) Not to mention the fact that some of the musical elements here are usually used in underwater environments. In this song, I keep seeing Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Poseidon section.
Kinda reminds me of someone breathing... this is really cool. Definitely chills you out. Maybe this is what it would sound like if you moved really really fast and the world got slowed down loadsss.. o:

This is one of the best instrumentals I've heard. The original by Pogo was still an amazing instrumental as well. Pogo has such a great ear for sound.
