      I have one unopened Bratz Doll in my closet from about 9 years ago. I don't remember what was in my head when I purchased her. But since seeing Sonia's video that I somehow discovered at her beginning on facebook I thought how amazing.! I'd like to give it a try myself but I don't see it happening this year. I am so behind in my projects as it is.! I'm also afraid I might get addicted... and that would put another stick in my spokes. (Too many of those lately.)

      Thelma Grace1930 yes addiction is key to doing these lol !!! I think I love the treasure hunt to find the dolls at second hand stores....sometimes you really find a bunch of them! And you get to think about what they might look like, they are always so different when they are done!

      SerenityofLilac You are welcome! Isn't it fun? Everything they do is so well thought out, and looks effortless at the same time....I know from my own experience that it is not :) Thanks for watching!

    What a great idea to post this video! It was such a pleasure to watch. You did it beautifully and the soundtrack was good too. So for all of us who haven't managed to buy one of Sonia's dolls at least we know what it feels like!

    Hi! Why did you think it would smell like eucalyptus? Great video, thanks for sharing.

    • @NewLeafDolls
      @NewLeafDolls  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Arlee777 Thanks! Well, Sonia uses eucalyptus oil and a nail polish remover combination to remove the paint off the doll's faces to start with. I know that smell is very strong, and not easy to remove, so I thought I would just check to see! :) I love the smell so it wouldn't have bothered me. :)

      NewLeaf Dolls Ahhh ok, I didn't know she used eucalyptus as well. I like the smell too. I might try it on my next doll.

      It really makes it a lot easier than just plain nail polish remover alone.

      @NewLeafDolls  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Arlee777 plain acetone is the best, nail polish remover, I have found, is not strong enough to remove it. :)

    I don't mean to insult anyone but the experience of making it yourself is a lot better than ordering one so go ahead,don't be shy try it yourself I did one today and even though it took ages for me too take the face off I am very proud of my work 😊

      +phoebe culley No insult taken whatsoever, I completely understand....that is why we got started making our own, we were so inspired by Sonia's dolls and the whole concept! Please see our other videos of some dolls we made and let me know what you think. I can't decide which was more fun, transforming the dolls or just the fact that I was working on an exciting project with my daughter. The photo shoots were a lot of fun, too. We took one of them in the woods right before a big storm rolled in and it was really exciting. We are now teaching a class together with girls teaching them how to do the whole transformation process. Spread the joy! :)

      +Rebecca Ellens She was about $180....now Sonia is famous, a number 29 might be worth a little more, who knows! I'm just glad I was able to get her.
