I am 71 years of age. I have been living in the UK since 1970. but I grew up in Java Road HK. This video reminds me so much of my childhood. BTW I went to Java Road Government Primary School. LOL
I am 73; I've been in USA since 1969. Like you, I used to live in North Point Estate, Java Road, from 1958-68. This great video gives us impeccable memories about our childhood.
@@bennyklau I accidentally saw this video in which some places meant a lot to me when I was a kid going to school everyday way back from the early 70’s thru the 80’s. Feel like stepping back in time when I saw my primary school, the Chinese Methodist is still sitting on the hillside with no change on the outside. And the long steep stairways against the wall is still there, I used that a lot after school everyday. The only change is those tall buildings behind my school as it was off limits back then. It was a cliff back then. Fortress Hill is where my high school was in the 80’s, that’s Wesley College. The school was demolished and relocated to Shiu Sai Wan in the 90’s. But somehow, the church built another college with almost the same name there. This brings me lots of distant memories ever since I moved to California over the past three decades. The things are still there, but people changed a lot.
