We just got home the other day. It was a great trip, and thanks for all the information!!! Tip for anyone crossing into Sauze at the moment: When you come down 27 Alta, DO NOT cross the intersection to Broussailles Alta unless you love walking uphill in your skis a considerable distance!!! Turn left onto Boulevard and ski down to the lift instead!!! ⛷
Nice. Hope snow conditions will improve from 7th of January. Going to be there with kids for a week. Looking forward for next reports. Never summer 😊. Thanks
Good to see you can also ski to the midstation of the Jouvenceaux-chairlift, as we had to do last year, to get down. Great to hear you can do one day Bardoneccia on a six days pass as well. Looking forward to your report of that. Have a happy new year and some extra snow and lots of sun in the daytime next week.
Yes agree, we went in January last year and it was absolutely awful, and it was the 2nd time it was awful so won't be going back, there's no investment
We’re coming over in a few weeks and really looking forward to it. Staying nearer Sportinia Charlift, what runs would you recommend for beginners?? Thank you so much!
Next year a lift that was closed will be reopened and rerouted. From the bottom of run 97 above Claviere. It will run to the top of Colletto Verde allowing you to get to a Montgenevre more quickly without having to ski all the way around. Montgenevre also has some Winter Olympic events in 2030 so possibly some more investment before that. This summer Montgenevre built a new reservoir which allows them to pump out twice as much snow!
Hi guys, we are going to Sestriere in one week, is it possible to ski to Sauze? We visited Sauze 8 years ago, would be cool to ski down those slopes again.
hi James and Sinead, I am loving your videos, have not been away or skiing since 2017, booked up for val thorens in April but could not wait so i booked a long weekend ( 4 days ) in cesana on the 20th of Feb at the Olympic mountains hotel next to the ski lifts. so i was wondering is the snow coverage good this time of year and which ski area do you recommend for my 3 full days of skiing. and is there any apree ski bars in Cesena. look forward to your next report. and happy Christmas and new year.
Hi Paul - we have replied to your comment on this week's video (chairlift chitchat). One thing to add - ski passes. If you were to follow my advice and do 1 day Sauze, 1 day Sestriere and 1 day Claviere / Montgenevre then you would be best to buy a 2 day Vialattea ski pass and a 1 day Montiluna/Montgenevre ski pass. Drop me an email if you need any more info, thanks Sinead
@@Sauzeonline Hi sinead ,thank you so much for answering my questions, and of course Albys recommendation. Great video. Ive allready booked 3 day ski pass when i booked my holiday but i do get to the resort quite early so i may think about squeezing in an extra half day ski pass.
Can you explain how you went from Sauze to the bar No 10 on the map as that looks to be on the Sestriere side ? Is it possible to ski down to Borgata from Sauze and assume you then got a lift up to run 47. But how did you get back w/o taking the gondola ? Thanks

Merry christmas to you and have a wunderful season in the mountains 🤩⛷️🇸🇪
I'm praying that Sauze gets good snow this season. I've been forced to change my plans & ski high over the last 6 seasons. I miss Sauze!
Good to see Adam on wine of the week 😊

Love the resort but at times like this Sauze suffers with lack of investment in lifts and snow cannons by the Via Lattea Lift Company

What’s the best bar to visit for atmosphere and good music?
Can you recommend this winter jacket from Montec?

The beginner slope is at the top of the Sportinia chairlift so perfect :-)
Thinking of Coming to Sauzie 15/3/25…what would the’ normal ‘ mid March conditions be expected?
Thanks
PS love the vids

Yep very easy. Gondola from ses to the top and simply ski down sauze side. Just watch the wind as if bad lifts close but literally one lift out of ses
@@jasonnash8385 Awesome thanks! :)
What are the best places to stop for a drink and snack on the mountain? Would you need to book in advance?
Keep watching and we will try to pop into our favourite places. No real need to book unless high season.

No. 10 Is called Bar Basset and is on the Sauze side
Pity about the high wind issue. Last time I was there was same with high winds high up. Bet the lift pass no cheaper with half the runs closed.
Hi Both, which model helmet and smith goggles is Sinéad wearing please as it looks a good match? 😎
Hi Toby, Salomon helmet and Smith goggles :-)
I still can't believe there's no snow cannons livingo been open ages because of all the snow machines
Sauze does have lots of snow cannons but not in the 'bowl' area.
New video today? 😀
yes
Wear a helmet mate
Please
For piste ??? Never bothered with one
@ better hope no one skis into you then
