Milk Bank of Lviv perinatal center- the second donor milk bank in Ukraine based at a perinatal center.
Our perinatal world is wonderful!
Over the past 37 years, we have performed more than 100,000 deliveries of different levels of complexity.
Nearly 5,000 children are born within our walls annually , with almost 10% being born prematurely.
It is for these children that we have opened the Breast Milk Bank, the second donor milk bank in Ukraine based at a perinatal center.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, preterm babies born to internally displaced women have also received donor breast milk when needed.
Over 400 liters of milk have been collected since December 2022.
Every week, the Bank's piggy bank is replenished by an average of 8-10 liters.
We have 32 donors cooperating with us. The Breast Milk Bank is the best investment in the healthy future of premature babies!
