It was actually 3 in the end.. but still, not sure if brave or crazy 😂 I certainly have more than 3 now though after makeup shopping in lots of different regions! x
You probably hear this a lot, but I love the vibe/theme of your channel. + I’ve watched a few of your videos and your French pronunciation sounds so good. Love you!
I am not shocked with "small" amount of makeup. To be honest, I use SAME makeup products everyday but I have more options for every product. I just like to stick for my favourite products that work for me and that I just can slap on my face without thinking about it. Love your videos as always! Aaaand I have to say that quitting your job in Australia and going in Europe is very very brave step in life. Wishing u the best adventures in upcoming months.
love your channel so much lately! so inspired by your natural, minimal, easy approach at makeup. really been enjoying your content lately and have gotten so much more education in the makeup world from your videos! ♡
You've influenced me so much in terms of what I use, how and how much I use it, it's actually crazy. I'm in France atm for five weeks, so I brought a fair bit with me, but since I travel quite a lot in and out of my region I switch up my products inside my makeup bag. Right now, I have the Nyx microbrow filler, Boy Brow in clear, RMS uncover concealer, RMS eye polish in lunar (doubles SO well as a highlighter), Sleek blush palette (orange blush gives me life in summer), Fenty Multistix in Chilli Mango, Melt Dark Matter eyeshadow, and Chanel lip shine in Boy. And, for fragrance, Nuxe Le Parfum and Glossier You!
What a wonderful travel makeup bag you have there Elise! Love the RMS eye polishes that work as highlighters too! Thank you, that really means a lot ☺️ Enjoy France and have fun in the pharmacies! x
Matilda Oh gosh, that picture was three years ago. Um, I believe it was the Essence Ultra Last Instant Colour in rich mahogany. Either that or Maybelline Colour Sensational Matte in Divine Wine. Told you I used to be drugstore!
Watched this after a serious decluttering. I am now left with - 3 lipsticks (Bobbi Brown, MAC, NYX) - 3 eyeshadow singles (Innisfree-Korean brand and Bobbi Brown) - 1 eyeshadow palette (Isadora- gifted but never used so I decided to keep it anyway) - 1 eyeliner (Ever Bilena- Philippine brand) - 1 mascara (Maybelline), - 2 concealers (NARS soft matte and the SAEM Duo-another Korean brand) - 1 powder (Innisfree) - no foundation (haven't used foundation in months and pretty sure what I had were expired) - 2 velvet lip tints from PeriPera (Korean) - I used these as blush too - 3 Burts Bees, 2 Fresh, and 1 Innisfree tinted balms With what I'm left with, I can bring my entire makeup "collection" if I travel lol. I don't use brushes too as I don't wear eyeshadow on the regular. I never used highlighter but I'm hoping to add a cream one, maybe your fave RMS!
I travel for work nearly every month and I feel like so far I have 'perfected' my travel make up. I pack light because my skincare routine is more extensive and I'm not willing to compromise on skincare ;) I have nearly never wear foundation but in case I feel I want to I always carry a compact (Kanebo Sensai) in my handbag. Otherwise I stick to concealer (Guerlain Multi-Perfecting Concealer and Shiseido Stick Corrector), bronzer (Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel) and blush (Dior Blush Corail Bagatelle). For my eyes I usually skip eyeshadow and instead blend out my eyeliner (Chanel Vert Eden), fill in my brows with an eyelure pomade and apply some mascara (MaxFactor Masterpiece). Lipstickwise I tend to only wear two shades really: one red and one nude so I usually grab Chanel Rouge Coco Mademoiselle and Chanel Rouge Allure in Rouge Vie. Can you tell? I'm a bit obsessed with Chanel ;D
Love love love this. An actual, practical, travel makeup bag. Your content is my absolute favorite and I'm so excited to see more of your travel tips in the coming months! Also, congrats on taking the leap and quitting your job, must be terrifying and wonderful all at the same time.
You've really inspired me to become more minimal with my make up i buy so many things to try, use them once then never touch them again lol and as a student it gets very costly 😂
I always say I'm a makeup minimalist with a not-so minimalist collection 😂 I still love trying new products but always make sure they're things I'll keep coming back to, not impulse buys x
Matilda!! You have no idea how much I appreciate your fair share of this travel make-up. I am a traveler and have been traveling nonstop, and will be embarking on another journey again for months. I am a make-up admirer and I still get very giddy about make up. I agree with the part that you say "for a make-up lover, this was very tough"!! Especially I do travel vlog as well. I appreciate a good make up day so much but love minimalist travel style. Thanks a lot for the beautiful looking video and the effort that you make!
So Glamorous! I love the mystery of not knowing who you are but also would love to actually see you one day and know more about your lifestyle. Good video!
Thank you Cac! I don't really plan to share anything more personal here, but I have appeared in old videos and on some friend's channels if you do some digging ☺️ x
Will you do a review of the glossier mascara? Love your Channel! Hope you have fun over seas! ❤️❤️❤️ I also love how you formatted this video, as what you actually took. Not hypothetically what you would take.
Thank you so much Anna! I filmed this the day before I left Australia earlier this year so I was all packed and ready 👍 Definitely planning to review the Glossier mascara if I can manage to get organised with a filming set up again in my new city! x
Thank you so much for saying that Lulu! Really appreciate it, particularly after working 6 days this week in my new job but making time to edit this on a Saturday night! 👍 x
Now I'm dying to try that Bond Girl lipstick! I'm studying abroad these next couple of months so this video was super helpful for me as I was having trouble minimizing my beauty routine. Thank you 💖
Ohh thank you so much Jagyoseni! (I actually don't know if that makes any difference to my earnings from views by the way, but so sweet of you to think like that ☺️) x
Made my day! Was looking forward to this video the moment I found out you’d be out for a long trip, and I’m so happy this is finally uploaded. I’ve always thought that I’m someone who packs very light when it comes to my makeup, but your makeup bag proved me wrong! This was an absolute pleasure to watch. Thanks for another great video~
Hello there! I was wondering if you could do a review of more ILIA products? I was in Sephora today, saw an ILIA display, and the first thing I thought was “I hope Matilda does a brand try-on!” I’ve seen the blusher on your channel before, but not the foundation or many other products! Their “foundation” seemed more like a sheer luminous tint you would love! Would love to know your opinion!
Thank you Sam! Unfortunately the only Ilia products I've ever tried are their multisticks, tinted lip conditioner and an eyeshadow stick, but I'm sure I'll build up my collection to the point where I can do a brand review! 👍 I haven't looked at their foundation before to be honest, if it's sold as 'foundation' I tend to immediately look past it! x
Hi Matilda! I absolutely love the vibe of your makeup collection - I would love to see a favourite from each category video and a favourites from cruelty free brands xx
Thank you so much Holly! There's already a holy grail makeup video on my channel with favourites from each category. Cruelty free favourites is top of my filming list when I'm back from overseas next year 👍🏼 x
Thank you Claudia, I'd love to visit Mexico one day! 🙌 No unfortunately not, sorry - the style of my channel only puts the focus on the products, not me x
You definetly have the best make up channel on TH-cam, so elegant! I just discovered this channel today and I will buy a lot of things you suggested. Love 🤗
moisturizer, tinted sunscreen from shiseido, brow pencil, mascara from estee lauder, red and nude lippies from maybelline and lip balm are the only things that i bring with me when i travel 💕
I wanted to test myself for my two months of holidays and only packed what I considered the strict minimal so I really followed your advice about multitasking products and even though I thought I couldn’t live without any palettes I’m glad I did this « challenge »! It really proved me how multitasking products make life so much easier and it does feels nice to travel with a « tiny » and perfect sized makeup bag!
So glad to hear you packed light and it worked well for you! Palettes can be tempting if they have lots of different uses but I always prefer to go for more compact items 👍 x
Your minimalism is inspiring. I’m currently packing for a 14 day trip to Seoul and have 3 large makeup bags filled to the brim. Will now edit this down to...two bags. Ha!
Simply stunning as usual! I find it funny how our makeup styles are so different, but we have common faves ❤️ Chanel le Volume is the best mascara ever, and Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl is my go to fall lip. Congratulations on all your growing success with your TH-cam channel! You truly deserve it! I also really appreciated how you interact with your followers, unlike most youtubers
Thank you so much Katrin, really appreciate this lovely comment! I LOVE that unifying aspect of beauty - styles can be worlds apart but still have common products in them 👌 x
my travel makeup: -milk makeup lip and cheek -the current mascara I'm using -wet n wild megaglo highlighting stick -wet n wild eyebrow pencil -clear brow gel -lip gloss
When I travel I use concealer (sheered out) as a foundation and lipstick as blush. I now love using lipstick on cheeks! It melts into my skin but has better staying power than cream or powder blush on my oily skin.
my travel makeup bag always includes a palette with 3 products in it. the ones that have a bronzer, highlighter, and blush and are super compact. Either the lancome one, the sleek one, or the UD naked one. Lately I've gravitated more for the sleek one but they are all great. Not a bulky palette at all. For lips I always bring easy, sheer, tint like ones. Such as the clinique chubby stick in super strawberry, and the smith's rosebud salve. I don't bring eye products because when I travel, I like to pack light so I always only bring a carry on, hence I'm only wearing my glasses and not my contacts. When wearing glasses, I wear 0 eye products.
Great travel packing! Sadly even slim palettes don't make the cut for me, I prefer to keep everything really minimal. Such a good idea only taking carry on, I love doing that for shorter trips! 👍 x
Matilda thanks so much! I wrote a blog about using stick beauty for travel in hot countries. I hope you may have a moment to read it: www.anokhimedia.com/beauty-and-grooming-stick-with-it-travel-without-melting-your-face-off-with-these-stick-beauty-products/ thanks! Also I missed your cat not making a cameo! Lol! Hugs from Montreal.
I don't know why but I keep watching this video again and again... I love this one so much and many products I use a like! I am curious to hear if all the items worked as you hoped during your 7 months long travel. Please keep us posted!!
Thank you Hiroko! I'm still travelling for the rest of the year 👍 For the first few months I used these products exclusively (before I started to buy more along the way), and they were all great choices! x
I might move into fashion content in future! For now, you can see a video on my channel called 'colour blocking' with different types of The Daily Edited makeup bags x
Whahoo another video! I just love the style of your channel. You focus on quality instead of quantity. Love that about your videos and vibe. Keep up your most interesting and honest view of beauty I have watched in a long time. ❤️
Funny I just booked the flight two days ago and now you showed me your travel bag! Very inspiring! I also love small make-up bag and agree with you on multitasking products! I used to pack my eyeshadow palette for travelling but then only using the shadow sticks, so definitely no more palette this trip!! X
Absolutely LOVEEE and am also completely OBSESSED with ur channel , honestly I always go to ur videos for some legit, honest opinions on beauty . And tbh I kind of just find ur AMAZING vids rlly relaxing and calming when I just need a little me time x Love and hugs from London ~ Afreen - x -
I watched this video last night and had to pack today for Eid holiday. And yeap, you and Bobbi Brown travel size goodies gifted with every online purchase did help a lot :-)
Yeah this is the ultimate makeup bag that a girl like me wants! But tbh I hate spot conceal. I always wish there could be some slightly see through imperfections so to look like a no makeup makeup day.
Great to hear Yuqi! I only ever lightly conceal spots and don't reapply makeup during the day - I want to look real! Every day is a no-makeup makeup day for me 👍 x
Matilda can you film a video of all the clothes you have pack with you on your 7 months of travel? You seem to be going to so many places with different types of weather so it's so interesting to see what you took with you! I hope you are having a great trip!
Charlotte Tilbury in Miranda May feels like a holiday colour. Also, pink is good but yet to find the perfect bright pink.. a holliday is when I relax and put on a bright colour of lipstick to make it look like I made an effort when I really didn't! X
@@matildaonvideo- Hi Matilda, have you ever tried the Away luggage? I got the Away cabin luggage (with front pocket) for Christmas/birthday and love it. I invested in the Away mini case which I use everyday for makeup. Its impressive the amount I can get in there😯 Shelley x
Ahh an Away case is so high on my wishlist! I bought their black toiletry bag called the 'Dopp Kit' in New York last year and love it, not too big but fits a lot inside. Glad you enjoy yours! 👏 x
@@matildaonvideo I love the compressor which means you can travel hand luggage up to 7 nights (or may be longer..)! The laundry bag is fab not to mention power bank is genius! The front pocket means I don't need to take a handbag as I pack it and put passport, boarding pass, money (zipper on the inner pocket for increased security), iPad or a book into the front pocket without needing to open my case. Shelley x
Yes! You’ve inspired me, gonna create my own go to travel makeup bag!!! Great content as always. Full coverage isn’t my style so discovering your channel was great. You’ve inspired me to be useful with my products! Using my highlighter and blushes as eyeshadows and they’re no longer just sitting on my counter looking pretty 😊
your videos always inspire me. you also got me into the browny tone red eyeshadow wave! i’m looking into purchasing the chanel candeur et experience quad soon.
Congratulations on the new opportunity, having the courage to quit your job and moving overseas! One important question - where are your kitties staying while you’re away?! I recently discovered your channel and and have been binging on your content. Your aesthetic, product choices and witty commentary are right up my alley! Almost feels like I’m listening to Allure in audio format.
Thank you so much! What a huge compliment ☺️ I've always loved magazines and beauty editorials so that really means a lot. And they're family cats so they're being well looked after! x
Matilda , I am a brown skin woman nc 40 in Mac. Would you have suggestions for products for my skin tone - I understand you only talk makeup that you have tried tested . Or maybe you know of a blogger who has similar minimalist approach towards makeup
Hi Mansi 😄 As you mention, I only share products that I use personally - I'm not a makeup artist or an expert so I really can't recommend anything for other skin tones. So sorry I couldn't help! x
Hi Mansi! Couldn't help but barge in seeing that we share similar skin tones (atleast if MAC shades are anything to go by!) I am a firm "no-makeup makeup" lover so let me know if I can help you with anything! Also Hey Matilda! Hope you are having on your time abroad. I have been following you on Instagram throughout and absolutely had my fingers crossed to bump into you in London!
I am MAC NW43. I use Bobbi Brown's lipsticks in Bahama Brown, Downtown Plum, Brown, and Brownie, her blushes in Tawny and Sandy Pink, liquid Skin Foundation in Cool Golden, setting powder in Peach, bronzing powder in Dark, intensive serum corrector in Peach, and intensive serum concealer in Warm Honey for a minimalist look. Hope that helps!
Hi Matilda. Thank u for another great video - really informative/interesting. I have my pen and notepad ready to jot down any products that catch my eye (so far the chantecaille eyeshadow and b.brown lipstick are in contention). I purchased the Chanel highlighting/concealer pen after watching one of ur vids . . .and boy o' boy, im so glad i did. It is now a 'Holy Grail' product. I love the idea of multi tasking products. Thank u, again x
im gonna travel soon and this is just the video i need! sometimes i got confused of how much makeup products i should bring but thanks to you now im getting some inspo
Yes! I really love Chanel products, so when I end my 2 months challenge of not buying makeup products, I will buy that beautiful Chanel burgundy eyeshadow, lip gloss and eyeliner... :D
Thank you so much for your make up tips! I really love your content and ‘philosophy’ in terms of makeup. Personally, I enjoy watching other more mainstream makeup channels as well however, I couldn’t imagine myself actually owning or bringing that much makeup. Thank you because you really lessen the pressure for many people in terms of the amount of makeup they bring and wear. You’ve definitely done that for me! As much as I love makeup, I don’t really like bringing tons around with me as I see it as bulky and impractical, not using half of it anyway. Your videos just remind me that bringing minimal items just enough for a few makeup looks is perfectly okay and just what I need. Again, thank you Matilda and much love the Philippines 🇵🇭 💕✨
Hi Matilda! Great video. The base products are not so fit for my skin type but I wish they were because you make them look great-- although I've been wanting to try this CDP concealer for ages, but it's not available in Europe, so I'll wait for my next visit to the US. I recently bought Burberry's Velvet Lip Crush in Dark Russet and I LOVE it- I think you'd like it too! xx
Thank you so much Ines! Great minds think alike - I finally tracked down the Velvet Lip Crushes yesterday and Dark Russet was the first shade I grabbed 👏 x
I ended up getting the Chanel lip and cheek blush in tender rose after watching your video. I absolutely love it! If it was in my budget I would buy all of them haha
I have been looking forward to your travel makeup video, and it did not disappoint! I'm not sure if you've heard of the brand Herbivore Botanicals, but they're all organic and make the coco rose lip tint in coral, which I CANNOT put down. I found it through Emma Watson, her makeup artist has used it on her for several events and I can see why... I've been using it on my lips and cheeks even more than my beloved Tata Harper Very Popular (thanks Matilda!). If you come across it while on your trip I definitely recommend you swatch it in store, it's coral-ly, dewy, and I think it would be right up your alley! As always, looking forward to your next video!
What an amazing video. After watching this one I wished you were a brown girl I would've bought all those beautiful products right away without testing on myself as I love those beautiful warm 'orangey' shades as it is very aligned with my taste also.
Thank you so much Purva! The beauty of colour cosmetics like blush, eyeshadow or lipstick is that they will look slightly different on everyone. See how you go trying them! ☺️ x
Haha i can imagine ! I wish i could do that, sometimes i have even 2 make up bags (FOMO...) and i end up using only a few products lol but i am working on myself 😅
Hi Matilda. I tried the tester for Chanel Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturiser while bought Lip Blush. The texture was smooth and impressive. Sadly it's overpricey to me (maybe one day) so I grabbed Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint instead. Basically I just pack the items I normally use in my travel make-up bag regardless short or long term oversea trip. One item that I can't leave without is Mac Prep + Prime Lip Primer which I have been using for years. It makes your lips soft and smooth before applying any lipstick and gloss. Happy Sunday! 😊😊😊
i LOVE the bobbi brown crushed lip colors. my favorite shade is grenadine- kind of like a more vibrant and deeper shade of my natural lip color. recently the charlotte tilbury makeup line has come to sephora in the states... i'm genuinely thinking about picking up some of her lipsticks since you rave about them! i'm not a big matte lipstick fan so i'll have to check the texture out in stores though.
I have to say, once I’ve watched the first video of you, I couldn’t stop and I literally watched ALL these days. I love how precise, neat and informative your videos are but yet very fun and creative to watch. After watching your videos about Glossier, I’ve purchased a few products from their website and I’m so looking forward to try. Could you do some trials on the Kora Organics, too? Keep going, love your videos. Michelle from Hong Kong.
Thank you so much for tuning in Michelle! Hope you love your Glossier goodies 👏 I've only tried a couple of Kora body products and their tinted moisturiser so not enough to do a brand review, sorry. But I'm sure the brand will pop up in an Aussie video in future! x
I tend to bring different makeup each time I travel but!!!!!!!! one thing that never leaves my makeup pouch is the YSL baby doll kiss and blush ☺️ bought it on impulse while I was shopping but grew to love it a lot 🙊
Matilda I have a shade in Rose Frivole! Honestly it worked better as a blusher than a lip product, but grew to love it, because, who doesn’t love a multi purpose makeup product! 🙊
Two lipsticks for 7 months?Thats what i call bravery.
It was actually 3 in the end.. but still, not sure if brave or crazy 😂 I certainly have more than 3 now though after makeup shopping in lots of different regions! x
I packed only three myself for about three weeks. Two nudes and one bright
Kelly Barry im such a lipstick freak i could never do that!!I wear lipstick even at home with my pjs on...
You probably hear this a lot, but I love the vibe/theme of your channel. + I’ve watched a few of your videos and your French pronunciation sounds so good. Love you!
Ohh thank you so much! Really nice to hear that 😄 Also I studied French for years so I love the accent! x
Thank you very much Lea! The brave step has paid off 😄 x
love your channel so much lately! so inspired by your natural, minimal, easy approach at makeup. really been enjoying your content lately and have gotten so much more education in the makeup world from your videos! ♡
Thank you so much Grace, that's so lovely to hear! ☺️ x
Matilda , you are so welcome!
agreed!
It is currently midnight here in Germany but I need to watch this, I was so hoping that you would show us your travel makeup bag😍
Absolutely, I've been teasing this video for a while! Follow me on Instagram @matildaonvideo for occasional updates 👍 x
Matilda already following you there, how could I not?❤️
You've influenced me so much in terms of what I use, how and how much I use it, it's actually crazy. Also can I ask what lipstick you're wearing in your profile picture?! 😂 It's only a tiny photo but I can tell it's the kind of dark red I love haha x
RMS uncoverup is the BEST concealer I've ever used!
Matilda Oh gosh, that picture was three years ago. Um, I believe it was the Essence Ultra Last Instant Colour in rich mahogany. Either that or Maybelline Colour Sensational Matte in Divine Wine. Told you I used to be drugstore!

- 2 velvet lip tints from PeriPera (Korean) - I used these as blush too
- 3 Burts Bees, 2 Fresh, and 1 Innisfree tinted balms
With what I'm left with, I can bring my entire makeup "collection" if I travel lol. I don't use brushes too as I don't wear eyeshadow on the regular. I never used highlighter but I'm hoping to add a cream one, maybe your fave RMS!
Wow Katrina, well done on slimming down your collection! Must feel so satisfying 👏 x

Can't get enough of your videos! Also, I have a question- what is your day job?
A beauty junkie like you sounds like you'd work as a beauty editor!
Thank you! ☺️ I work in communications. Nothing to do with beauty or travel! x
Same!
Matilda Thank you so much for answering!
Kisses! Xoxo💓

Oh perfect timing Sheila! Hope you have a wonderful time ☺️ x
You are the ONLY TH-camr whose ads before videos I don’t skip!
Ohh thank you so much Jagyoseni! (I actually don't know if that makes any difference to my earnings from views by the way, but so sweet of you to think like that ☺️) x
your self-control is incredible
Haha thank you! 😄 x

What a dreamy pile of products!!! I REALLY appreciate the fact that you swatch every product out btw, thanks for another great video! :)
Thank you Sarah! Always swatching, it's the least I can do given you don't see me apply the products 👍 x
Iv fell in love again with minimal makeup due to your channel
That's so nice to hear! Thank you ☺️ x

So glad to hear you packed light and it worked well for you! Palettes can be tempting if they have lots of different uses but I always prefer to go for more compact items 👍 x
Great job! You can definitely tell you put effort into your videos. It's refreshing to see.
Thank you so much Dawna, really appreciate that! ☺️ x
It’s always so refreshing and lovely to watch your videos! ♥️
Thank you so much! 😄 x
How convenient! I’m travelling next week so this is just what i needed! ♥️
Perfect timing! Hope you have a great trip 👍 x
How do you not have more subscribers? I absolutely love and adore how concise and well-thought out your videos are! Thank you for uploading!
Thank you so much Felicia, really appreciate that! ☺️ x
Love these travel beauty and makeup videos of yours! Please keep ‘em coming!
Thank you so much Rosa! 😄 x
Will you do a video on what makeup and skincare you purchased while on your 7 month trip?
Absolutely Emiea, several videos on different topics! But not until later in the year or next year when I've finished travelling 👍 x
This was such a visual treat 😍
Thank you so much! 😄 x
Your minimalism is inspiring. I’m currently packing for a 14 day trip to Seoul and have 3 large makeup bags filled to the brim. Will now edit this down to...two bags. Ha!
Haha happy to help you cull your products! Have a great trip 😄 x
And my Saturday is complete! Another great video, kudos to you for your restraint while packing your travel bag. Not sure if I could be as successful!
Thank you so much Leticia! Enjoy the rest of your weekend 😄 x
Your channel is my absolutely favourite on TH-cam!! Another great video , amazing content as always
Thank you so much Diana! Really appreciate that ☺️ x
I’ve been here since u got some few subs and now u got Almost 80k subs, u deserve it girl! Keep going!
Thank you so much Katherine! Can't believe it's nearly there, I honestly thought no one would watch 😱 x
Love your little bags.
Thank you! The Daily Edited have so many great makeup bag options 👌 x
I love travel videos, and I love your videos! Ive watched your previous travel beauty video so many times. I’m so happy to see this one!!
Thank you so much Lola! Glad you have a new one to watch now 😄 Thank you very much, it's a big step but I've been having an incredible time! x
So glad to hear it! Thank you for keeping us updated, so excited to see what comes next!
I LOVE that unifying aspect of beauty - styles can be worlds apart but still have common products in them 👌 x
my travel makeup:
-milk makeup lip and cheek
-the current mascara I'm using
-wet n wild megaglo highlighting stick
-wet n wild eyebrow pencil
-clear brow gel
-lip gloss
Great makeup bag Hana! 👍 x
When I travel I use concealer (sheered out) as a foundation and lipstick as blush. I now love using lipstick on cheeks! It melts into my skin but has better staying power than cream or powder blush on my oily skin.
Perfect packing tips Kristina! You're a pro 👏 Exactly the kind of multi-tasking ideas I love x
Yay! I hope these minimal makeup stashes (similar to one Lily Pebbles did a year ago) catch on! They're my very favourite to watch
Thank you so much Mai! All of my videos about different packing routines or GRWM or five minute makeup are always minimal like this 👍 x
Yessss!!! I love Sundays, because I know it means a new Matilda video!! 💖 😭
Thank you! Happy Sunday 😄 x
my travel makeup bag always includes a palette with 3 products in it. the ones that have a bronzer, highlighter, and blush and are super compact.
Hi Mathilda! Thanks for another lovely video! I always pack YSL Touche Éclat, Clé de peau concealer, Chanel le Correcteur, Pat McGrath eyeliner...
Thank you Meena! Great packing choices 👏 x
Have always been a fan of your videos Matilda. ❤️❤️❤️
Hope that your trip will be filled with joy and opportunities!
Thank you so much! 😄 x
I don't know why but I keep watching this video again and again... I love this one so much and many products I use a like! I am curious to hear if all the items worked as you hoped during your 7 months long travel. Please keep us posted!!
Thank you Hiroko! I'm still travelling for the rest of the year 👍 For the first few months I used these products exclusively (before I started to buy more along the way), and they were all great choices! x
I really love this kind of travel makeup videos! xx
Thank you, great to know Brielle! 😄 x
I was wondering what kind of makeup you (AND I ???) would bring for such a long trip. So glad you made a video out of it.
Thank you so much! More travel packing content coming 😄 x
Please make a bag haul!! Beautiful bags are really needed.
I might move into fashion content in future! For now, you can see a video on my channel called 'colour blocking' with different types of The Daily Edited makeup bags x
Going on a trip to Paris in literally two days so this is perfect timing! Can't wait since I've got quite a few of your product recommendations
Oh wonderful! Have a fantastic trip and enjoy those pharmacies 👏 x
Thank you I will! It's going to be a real challenge for my self restraint but I'll do my best to not deplete my entire bank account.
I love your videos 😍 always show minimal and natural looking makeup which I always prefer. Keep up Matilda 👍🏻
Thank you so much Siti! You'll only ever find minimal, natural makeup here 👌 x
Whahoo another video! I just love the style of your channel. You focus on quality instead of quantity. Love that about your videos and vibe. Keep up your most interesting and honest view of beauty I have watched in a long time. ❤️
Thank you so much Lisa, that really means a lot! ☺️ x
Funny I just booked the flight two days ago and now you showed me your travel bag! Very inspiring! I also love small make-up bag and agree with you on multitasking products! I used to pack my eyeshadow palette for travelling but then only using the shadow sticks, so definitely no more palette this trip!! X
Glad this was good timing Lynn! Happy packing and enjoy your trip 😄 x
I'm sure you look beautiful with these products! All great quality! Can't wait to see your travel skin care bag.
Best 😘
Thank you so much Kelly! Stay tuned ☺️ x
Have fun on your adventures!!
Thank you so much Mackenzie! Not even halfway and it's been amazing so far 😄 x
Absolutely LOVEEE and am also completely OBSESSED with ur channel , honestly I always go to ur videos for some legit, honest opinions on beauty . And tbh I kind of just find ur AMAZING vids rlly relaxing and calming when I just need a little me time x
Love and hugs from London
~ Afreen - x -
Thank you so much Afreen! That's so lovely to hear 😄 x
Omg i love Chanticaille! Would love to see more of their products on your channel!
Unfortunately I only have this shadow and a lip chic! But would love to try more of their products 👌 x
I watched this video last night and had to pack today for Eid holiday. And yeap, you and Bobbi Brown travel size goodies gifted with every online purchase did help a lot :-)
Oh perfect! Have a great trip 👍 x
Love a good make up bag and love lipstick and brow pencil yes please
I love how you left space for all the goodies you'll pick up along the way ;)
I didn't leave any space in that little makeup bag but I picked up some extra luggage along the way 😄 x
@@matildaonvideo well there you have it! Can't wait to see your new finds from your travels ♡♡
I so love this approach to makeup! I enjoy your channel very much!
Matilda actually you’re the one who inspires me to put minimal makeup on my skin! You’re such an inspiration to me
I take screenshots of the items under your drop down bar and use them when I need to or want a certain look 😊💖😍💐🇬🇧 Xx
Ohh thank you Alison! ☺️ x
this is honestly the only products i own. i love how my collection is small and easy
Sounds great Abi! Nice and easy ☺️👏 x
Matilda can you film a video of all the clothes you have pack with you on your 7 months of travel? You seem to be going to so many places with different types of weather so it's so interesting to see what you took with you! I hope you are having a great trip!
Thank you! I'm hoping to branch into fashion and packing content in future 👍 x
Charlotte Tilbury in Miranda May feels like a holiday colour. Also, pink is good but yet to find the perfect bright pink.. a holliday is when I relax and put on a bright colour of lipstick to make it look like I made an effort when I really didn't! X
You're right, that one is a great holiday colour! Wish I could pack a bigger makeup bag to suit different destinations and cities 👌 x
Thank you so much Rachel, so nice to hear that! Have fun creating yours ☺️ x
I’m so inspired after this video! Love this xx
Thank you so much Amelia! 😄 x
your videos always inspire me. you also got me into the browny tone red eyeshadow wave! i’m looking into purchasing the chanel candeur et experience quad soon.
Thank you so much Sophie! It's a very good eyeshadow wave to ride 😄 x
Matilda i’ve been looking for ‘that’ look that i can stick to & the warm autumn makeup look might be the one 😄
Yupp my favourite lipshades are from CT and BB crushed collection as well.. 💖🤗
They're the best! 👏 x
Another great celeb makeup bag video😍😍😍😍
Hahaha thank you! 😆 x
Very curious about the chanel les beiges sad that they discontinued it cant wait for the reveiw of the new chanel les beige
There's a new Les Beiges video on my channel Dieuwke! Uploaded in the last two weeks 👍🏼 Comparing new and old Les Beiges formulas x
And they're family cats so they're being well looked after! x
Beauty in a travel
Thank you so much for offering to help her out Divya! ☺️ x
Very Victoria by Charlotte Tilbury is one my favorite lipsticks for a minimal day look, I’m also an nc40.
I was just about to ask after the travel skincare routine! I'm excited!
Thank you! It's coming later this year! 👍 x
Oh Christina, thank you so much! That's so nice to hear you liked the Chanel pen. And so flattered that you take notes ☺️ x
I’ll be away for a bit over a month and I’ll definitely use this video as inspiration❤️
Nice to hear! Good luck packing and happy travels 😄 x
im gonna travel soon and this is just the video i need! sometimes i got confused of how much makeup products i should bring but thanks to you now im getting some inspo
Thank you so much Jasmine! Check out my last travel makeup bag video too, that breaks down my packing choices by category 👍 x
You inspired me to try red eyeshadows!
That's so nice to hear, thank you! Have you seen the red eyeshadow video on my channel? That will give you some more shade ideas! ❤️ x
Again, thank you Matilda and much love the Philippines 🇵🇭
💕✨
Thank you so much Janna, that's so nice to hear! ☺️ x
❤️ this!!! Isnt it amazing how much you don’t need when traveling? Looking forward to seeing your new adventures! Whats the makeup bag? adorable! 💋
Thank you! It's from an Australian brand called The Daily Edited, always linked in the description box 👍 x
Yay!! I LOVE these types of videos, and with your format it's even better
So great to hear that, thank you for watching Jackie! 😄 x
Thanks for replying ☺ And sure! :)
I ended up getting the Chanel lip and cheek blush in tender rose after watching your video. I absolutely love it! If it was in my budget I would buy all of them haha
So glad to hear that Emily, thank you! It's such a beautiful shade ☺️ x
You're underrated! Your channel is great. Loved the video :))
Thank you so much! So nice of you ☺️ x
great vid! fun to watch. useful for packing on travels
Thank you! Glad it was useful 👍 x
Ohh thank you so much for the suggestion, that sounds lovely! ☺️ I've heard of Herbivore but more for their bath and skincare products x
Please, make an updated version for 2021!!!!!
I'm impressed! loving the lipticks!! I can't even leave for a weekend without a palette haha
Thank you! I love palettes too, just never for travel 😄 x
Wowo ! I don’t know how to do that , you’re a packing master ! Loved the video as always ! Hope you’re having a nice trip :)
Thank you Eli, it was tough but so nice to only travel with a minimal makeup bag in my suitcase! 👍 x
Thank you so much Katherine! I'll have to check those products out 👍 x
i LOVE the bobbi brown crushed lip colors. my favorite shade is grenadine- kind of like a more vibrant and deeper shade of my natural lip color. recently the charlotte tilbury makeup line has come to sephora in the states... i'm genuinely thinking about picking up some of her lipsticks since you rave about them! i'm not a big matte lipstick fan so i'll have to check the texture out in stores though.
Yes I've been eyeing Grenadine for such a long time! 👌 Give Charlotte Tilbury a go and see what you think. Very exciting that she's in Sephora now! x
Ooh which shade do you have? I've been looking at a couple of them for weeks! 😉 x
Matilda I have a shade in Rose Frivole! Honestly it worked better as a blusher than a lip product, but grew to love it, because, who doesn’t love a multi purpose makeup product! 🙊
