It was a pleasure watching this talk about two of my favorite authors! The universe of Les Cités Obscures is very convincing and beautifully built. Please keep the good work.

Phew! I’m glad you revealed halfway through the story that the passages to parallel cities are fictional. I was almost booking my ticket to Brussels to look for them! Thank you for introducing me to Les Cités Obscures. This episode is a wonderful tribute to two artists who enable us see reality through a fantasy lens, and, therefore, enhance the beauty and mystery of our world.

Thanks a lot for this collage of information and views to Bussels real manifestation of some of the art we see in the visual novels.
I came across Schuiten & Peeters somewhen end of the 80ties, with the book “De archivaris”. I did buy later some serigraphs, which are still hanging in my house 😊. Since then, I also learned Dutch. I did buy different publications in both languages, besides German (mother language, French by education).
Unfortunately the book stores which are specializing in BD/strip books, did dramatically change in my home town. So I have too “find” new publications, especially a bit more rare publications, such as the triage de tête and others are hard to find for me.
Love that you showed the latest book, which I missed… Fantastic art, again.
    Lot’s of regards from Switzerland

Hello @chrs_d2000, Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! It's fantastic to hear about your journey with Schuiten & Peeters and your deep appreciation for their work. "De Archivaris" is indeed a remarkable book, and it's great that you have some of their serigraphs hanging in your house - they must be a real treasure!
It's impressive that you've learned Dutch and collected publications in multiple languages. I can understand how the changes in bookstores have made it challenging to find new and rare publications. I'm glad that you enjoyed the latest book featured in the video. Schuiten & Peeters' art continues to amaze and inspire!
Thank you for sharing your experience and for the kind words. Lots of regards back to you in Switzerland! 😊
