Yes, so what usually happens is that first year Rotman Commerce students take ECO101 (Microeconomics) in 1st semester and then take ECO102 (Macroeconomics) in the 2nd semester of first year. But yes, there are definitely many opportunities to take more in-depth econ courses in upper-year classes, to then obtain the major or specialist designation. Hope this helps!
Hey! I think the exams were quite similar regardless of the prof. I personally didn't find them too difficult but there was some material that was definitely challenging.
