it's true. I went to the range zeroed it, shot about 300 rounds through and thought it's pretty good. I put it down to shoot my other gun and when I went back to my hand gun and it was off. I re zeroed it went home and went shooting again the following week and it was off again

it seems to be a QC issue, although I dont know what would cause some to hold zero, while others lose zero if you sneeze on it. My only guess is the spring/detent system has some bad parts or parts that were installed incorrectly (detent backwards possibly). The one I was sent is holding zero, once I used different screws. The originals for my Zev cut slide were too short. Im currently working with them and they are improving the screws though. Ill be releasing another video at some point, to see if that issue has been resolved.
So far mine has been flawless. It’s my first green dot so I don’t have any other to compare it too. It has held zero on my combat tti. My old man even loved it, and he is an iron sights man all the way lol

Got it on sale, Olight has been nothing but flawless on the other stuff I own, and with the lifetime warranty why not. I’m not a brand snob like many I just want it to work and it has flawlessly at close to 2000 rounds later.

I've heard the biggest complaint is that it won't hold zero. Maybe you got the good one? I'm glad it works for you. I'm still investigating this vs the Holo EPS MRS carry green.

I just messed around with one and it didn't have the tactile clicks for adjustments. As a matter of fact we couldn't get the dot to move at all. My friend is sending it back for a refund

I tried one. Gotta chase that shit aound, in case you never used one. There’s no static red dot at center. It is like a little target you gotta place over the subject, so you better not have shaky hands. For operators on short missions, maybe they could rely on them not dying in the middle of a firefight- at which time, you have to rely on your regular sights anyway, so I suggest for regular dudes to just get good with your iron or fiber optic options, and maybe use these for the range just for a new experience.

A button on my brand new 508T green dot stopped working a week after I got it. I saw lifetime warranty and heard they were good about it so I procrastinated and went on with life. A few months (8 months later) I came across the sucker and remembered I better deal with this problem and the manufacturer told me to get lost and go after the seller. The seller was no longer on eBay and so I had a $430 piece of metal that was useless and in fact worthless. I’d try this new product in the video and stay the f away from Holosun

I think I will stick with the Holosun SCS MOS. Designed specifically for Glock MOS pistols, it mounts directly on the MOS slide cut. No plate required. It co-witnesses with OEM height sights right out of the box. There was no "Red Dot learning curve" after having been an iron sight shooter for over 60 years, the Dot (green) appears in my line-of-sight naturally. The built-in solar panel eliminates the need to charge the battery, ever, for the life of the battery which is about 10 years. It can sit in absolute darkness for up to 2 years and will still "shake awake" instantly. After 10 years of use, I will call that good enough and gladly ditch it for the latest, greatest better than sliced bread optic on the market at the time. Your mileage may vary but for a Glock MOS shooter, the Holosun SCS MOS the way to go.
As a course of life and reality, I already buy enough foreign-made items. In this case, and nearly all my arms-related equipment and accessories, I will stick to American-made. That being said, I totally understand the market for the less expensive items too. One can't always afford to "Cry Once".

Many reviews so far complain of the optic losing zero easily. I haven’t tried it personally, so I don’t know.

100% will not hold zero to save its life! I went thru 10 rnds and watched it lose zero to the right 5 rnds in…. Fuckin junk!
