I actually did it a week ago, you give up danzig and strike them in the ass via demand Pomerania. You have a shitlosd of bunker construction speed bonuses so you can get like lv 7s just like that. You kill Germany and then slap the russies, ofc hold the east with 10ws. All done by march 1942
if you need something to happen (ie germany attacks you), you can turn historical focuses off, and put germany on the historical path in the custom game rules.
The reason why there was a transfer of power in the Dutch army is as follows: Generaal Reijnders plan was to fortify the eastern front of the Vesting Holland, the Grebbeline and the Peel-Raamstelling . These 3 defence lines should be defended in force according to him. The Dutch minister of defence, Adriaan Dijxhoorn, (who was a military man himself) did not want to fortify both the vesting Holland and the Grebbeline. There was also a major discussion about the Peel-Raamstelling. Ultimately Dijxhoorn sought to replace Reijnders with Winkelman, in which he unfortunately succeeded. With Winkelman the eastern front of the Vesting Holland was abandoned and only the Grebbeline would be furthur reinforced. Winkelman would also practically abandon the Peel-Raamstelling. He only left a token force there.
As a dutch I can confirm she was the only man in dutch government since the dutch monarchy is the one who has to give the blessing for the new cabinet. She was also the only one who really did shit to inspire dutch nationalistic sentiment and resistance against the germans during ww2. While the dutch government and dutch army had a struggle for power after capitulation and after they went back home.
@@k-man4 it just says how much trains/trucks/convoys and equipment you have. If you have all you get 100% supply. In his case he probably didn’t have enough trains or equipment, but he still wondered why he didn’t have full supply.
I mean to be fair Taureor is good at certain political mechanics but he's not that great at the game, particularly when it comes to the new mechanics. Probably best demonstrated by him only using pure infantry and battle planning rather than tanks or even infantry with artillery in them
It doesn’t show the green bars over the Netherlands when selecting the location for deploying colonial troops trained in the Indies, but you can click on one of your provinces there and it will let you deploy
You can deploy colonial units in your own land, even though it doesn't show the green bars. You just have to click on your territory connected to your capital. No need to sail the boys all the way from indonesia. Just a small glitch/feature
You don't need the supply hubs. Your within range of your hubs already, your just not distributing the supply from the hub efficiently. Building motorized to supply your troops instead of cavalry works amazingly. Better infrastructure also helps
The icon for the equipment conversion tech changed because it used to be a picture of a factory and everyone thought it was a tech to increase the speed of converting military factories to civilian and vice versa. It's always increased the speed of equipment conversion though, they just changed the icon to reduce confusion.
You should probably build more supply trains. Without enough supply your casualty rate will go up. There is also a button for using civilian trains (+15 trains).
imo grand battleplan is the best doctrine. you get tons of entrenchment bonuses, including a big one early on. the left path, especially when you have the planning bonus, has crazy offensive potential, plus some extra defensive/entrenchment/command power buffs. the right path has pretty good offensive potential as well, and that land night attack bonus is nothing to scoff at. it's just a very underrated doctrine i find.
If I remember correctly, you can actually just select the mainland as the deployment area for colonial divisions, even though it isn't highlighted in green.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands joins the likes of Finland and Ukraine as a master of making the enemy wear themselves down to the bone on their defenses.
you can deploy colonial units in your mainland. . . you dont have to train normal ones and switch or train them in asia and ship them to holland. While the green lines saying you can deploy in this state dont show up in the mainland you can still click it and they will deploy there.
What essentially happened in this playthrough was causing the majority of ww2 to be very similar to ww1, just like the allies historically anticipated and prepared for. Trench Lines and countless deaths for years on end.

When they bash their had against the heavily fortified Dutch lines they loose too much. Why the AI can't stop attacking if it looses. They can't deal with supply as well. Last time they managed to get half of Belgium all the way to the Maas river. But they didn't captured a supply hub and were defeated by the French. The AI was too dumb to attack Luxembourg until 1941 for the supply hub nevertheless it had a war goal since 39

Hey, I have a quick recommendation for a fun game. The RT56 Austrian focus tree is excellent with a lot of flavor. The monarchist path allows you to restore the Austria-Hungarian empire as well as proclaiming the HRE.
Does anyone know a way to bypass the fact that you CANNOT create a faction (even with your german empire puppet) as Wilhelmina Netherlands? :( it completely destroys the endgame for me.
Alt History Channels - What if the Axis won WW2? HOI4 Channels - What if the Netherlands restored the monarchy, turned itself in a fortress state, created a German monarchist uprising against Hitler, and annexed Italy.
Thats hardly a challenge, just form your own faction form the focus and every democratic nation will join. You can also form benelux diplomatically making NL very OP.
