This was a second round match in the contenders bracket of the 2021 AVP Chicago Open. Winners moved on to face Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena in another contenders bracket match. Losers do not advance and are eliminated from the tournament. Match features Olympians Jake Gibb and Taylor Crabb vs AVP new comers and young guns Troy Field and Miles Evans. Match took place on September 4, 2021 on court 1, just north of stadium center court on Oak Street Beach in Chicago, IL.
