- 15 years ago Jack sat down to guide us through unlocking the "Millionaire's Club" achievement in Burnout: Paradise. Today, Jack is joined by Geoff, Michael, and Trevor as they walk down memory lane and try to collect that same achievement all these years later.

The original 6 from 2010 - 2013 produced probably the greatest gaming content on TH-cam. Thank you for the laughs. All your GTA IV, Farcry, Minecraft up to episode 150 + Glacticraft, and all the side games like Moonbase Alpha, shows like VS, and GO, those were the golden days of Achievement Hunter and videos that till today I go back to every now and then.
Well said. No offense to the later incarnations of the AH crew, I just personally could never vibe with them. 2011-13 was the peak for me.
@@BrucifyMe Diversity hires never seem to work out. When people are hired for arbitrary reasons and not merit, talent, chemistry, etc. this is what you get.
@@rumham8124 ...what? their first hires aside from the "original" AH crew were matt and jeremy. two white dudes who were a part of the community before being on the show.
it's easy to get mad about stuff you don't understand though i guess

The last words spoken in an AH video: "Geoff is a legend." They're not wrong.
Nah he’s gotta come back and get that last gems of war achievement
@@Stephen_ThI was about to post about him getting the “Try This One Geoff” BUT I realized

Geoff is a Legend. Gotta capitalize.
This felt like the AH banter I've been missing the last few years. One last time.
I had the same feeling. It made me realize that my "Golden Age" has long since passed
Yep, the only person I REALLY wished was also in it was Gavin
Yeah it's almost like if the original guys had just kept making videos together it would still be going...
But big companies have to justify large salaries with bigger roles and I'm sure they wanted career progression. But in doing so they killed everything.

Sad ending for sure.
The saddest. Now I’m just going back and watching everything I misssd

Ouch
Not at all. Sure AH and Roosterteeth are done, but our memories of it will always remain. Think of all the stuff that has and will be sparked because of them.
Like an exploding star, the star is gone, but the material is used to created new stars.
Honestly it’s beautiful if anything.
@@benwills7343that was so incredibly gay
Jack announcing he had completed the challenge right in the middle of Geoff's heartfelt commentary just to get yelled at by everyone is the most Achievement Hunter thing that has happened on this channel in years.
Thank you to all of the cast and crew who kept me smiling through the darkest periods of my life. Without you all there is no guarantee I would still be here today. I hope all of your future projects are successful and if they aren't I hope they lead you to re-find that passion that made me fall in love with your content all those years ago.

Solid agreement from me. Life has sucked hard, but the daily videos were often the only thing that could get me to laugh.
Came here to say basically this, but couldn’t have said it better myself. Wish you the best of luck in life as well my friend. Goodbye Achievement Hunter!

AH brought alot of people from teenagers to adults.
Been a hell of a ride.
They brought some of us from childhood to adults for those of us who were excited for the start of AH

I haven’t watched AH for about two years but came back for this video when I heard the brand was shutting down and I’m so glad i did. This feels nostalgic even though it’s a new video. AH, Geoff, Jack, Micheal, and everyone else had such a big impact on my life. Good luck to everyone in their other projects.
It's technically not shutting down, they just disbanded the name. They'll still likely release similar content for a long time together, just not on a schedule or anything
Such an impact
Honestly that title hurt way more than I thought it would. It didn't really settle in until now that this is the end. Thank you AH for 15yrs of being there for me day in and day out. The company/TH-cam channel that I got my first merch for when I got my first job. I'm not crying you're crying.
yeah no more TTT videos or minecraft or gta. watching these guys since i was a teenager 15 years ago. crazy how time just seems to fly.
Yeah I get what you mean. Now that it's the end I've been watching the videos since the announcement getting excited for the next and now it's over
I know the feeling, I was the same way. RT was the first content creator that got my cash, but AH was always special.
I'm not a Drunk Gamer nor Red vs Blue OG, but I've been around since AH. It got me through some tough times, and I got to share AH w/ people I've loved during good times. Man this was surreal to watch. Immediately hearing Geoff and Jack transported me back to those early achievement hunter days and the years I spent with them. I may not have been there the entire journey but the journey I had with AH was some of my best memories on the internet. Not many channels can say they've had a golden age let alone multiple times over for different crowds so thank you to everyone that worked to make this happen.
One last video featuring the two guys who started it all 15 years ago; I don't think they could have ended it more appropriately than that. Thank you Geoff, Jack and everyone at AH for all the entertainment and laughs over the years! Best of luck to you all.
It really meant a lot hearing Geoff recognize Ray Jeremy and Matt like that

Michael talking about the Slenderman Rage Quit "sucking" made me realize what great AH videos were all about. It has nothing to do with production quality. The greatest videos were the ones where you could tell everyone was having fun. Even in the days of crappy resolution and peaking mics, when the AH crew was just sitting down and having fun playing games and making memories, it was the best.
Hopefully whatever Dogbark becomes, it'll be fun. As long as people are enjoying the content they make, the audience will follow. Thanks for everything, Achievement Hunter.

I used to leave middle school on Fridays and run home so I could watch the new minecraft episodes as soon as they came out. Now I’m 23 coming back to watch the send off of my most beloved TH-cam channel. Jack silently playing the game in the background, and getting the 1mil just to be piled on for doing so is such a greeat throw back to the old AH videos. Have loved all the content and projects through the years and I'm so excited to see the growth of F**kface and Dogbark and IG. You Folk are all awesome and here is to another 15 years of fun and talent.
It’s strange how you grow away from something after a few years, but when I saw this video go up. I had to click and watch on one last Achievement hunter videos. There was a good amount of time where I watched these videos day in and day out. So many memories and laughs from a group of people I almost felt like I was in on the inside jokes at times or whenever I needed a pick me up. Good luck in everything you guys do in the future and to those that have come and gone I hope they are all happy or healthy, continue to do outstanding work guys!
I remember finding Achievement Hunter in 2010 and watched it religiously. I wanted to be like them. I learned video editing through free programs and dedicated hours of my life to studying film/photo. I graduated High school. Went to college. Flunked out and joined the Army. Went on 2 deployments, and now I work in film/photo professionally for my day job. All of this happened within the span of Achievement Hunter. Long time fan, been awhile since I’ve watched, but god bless all of you. Thanks for everything.
And so achievement hunter ends on a high note: making me mad that there's still 1 last achievement left for Geoff to complete

I stopped watching AH around 2018-2019 or something because of life getting in the way and I just kind of continued on, but I never forgot about it. I checked up on the channel, followed up with the creators, and saw what they were getting up to. I still watch Ray to this day, even though he’s long gone from AH. The team at AH has been nothing short of absolutely amazing, and I am so happy that it was a part of the most important parts of my life. Thank you for letting me grow and keeping me company, AH. I am forever grateful of everything you’ve given me, showed me, and introduced to me. Just, thank you.
I'll just repost what I said on the Subreddit...
I've been with AH since the very beginning, all the way back in 2008 when they released the Millionaire's Club guide for Burnout Paradise. I was 9 when that happened (now 24), and despite my gripes with the community, AH was and will probably continue to be a primary source of entertainment for me. It's gotten me through some rough times and I am glad to be a fan. To all the members of AH, current and old, classic and controversial, thank you for all the entertainment you have provided to me and many others throughout the years. I will happily raise a glass to celebrate the 15 years of joy AH provided. RoosterTeeth is going through a lot of changes as of late. It's entering a new era, and I hope for the absolute best for the company and everyone surrounding it.
Same here, since the very first consistently the whole way through, 17 to 32 for me. So much of my life filled with enjoying these guys videos through thick and thin. Hard to say how much these guys mean to me.
Same, I've been with RT since 2006 when my brother first shared a RvB video with me when I was in the military away from home for the first time. Our weekly Yahoo IM chats to stay in touch had him share this funny little video series in Halo which we both were big fans of and that it was making fun of military life so he thought I'd enjoy it. Ever since then I've dived deeper and deeper into being a fan of RT at first and AH when it started and have been here through it all. From the highest of high points to the lowest of lows, I've been onboard the AH train from the get go and am glad to have been here at the end. But the ending of one era is truly the beginning of another and I look forward to seeing what these mad lads get up to now that they're fully unshackled.

The effect that AH has had, on gaming, on youtube, on the entertainment industry, and on me and the millions of other viewers. It is somehow both incredibly profound and absurdly simple. We are really here. The end of Achievement Hunter. I guess I thought the day would never come but we can't have them make content forever. I started watching the AH guys back in 2010, and they've been a huge part of my life with entertaining millions at a time. Honestly man im pretty sure every time Geoff has gotten emotional in a video its made me in turn emotional. You can just tell in his voice how much he truly cared about Achievement hunter and his family that was created.
Legitimately quite a sad moment. This time 10 years ago, I'd been watching AH for around 2 to 3 months, and was still playing catch up on their already released videos. A specific memory I have is binge watching all 3 episodes of that Minecraft horse let's play they did.
To ALL of the AHunters, Thank you for the joy you have brought me!
To ALL My AH watchers, it's been fun watching with you!
Dropped AH and RT years ago after a big first price hike and making the youtube stuff unwatchable, came back to watch this. Didn't take me back to then, took me back years earlier when AH still had the vibe of a few friends in a room vibing and playing games.
I really don’t want this to end. Seeing them all in the same video again reminds me of how goddamn good AH has been for me. Love you all, I hope you come back to this one day
Geoff said he wants it to stay dead and put to rest so I hope it does as it's his wish. I hope they don't come back to this one day.
Nothing lasts forever. Wishing you all the best and that this door closing means other opens.
Ray is a good example of that, he's still just as funny as he was in 2013. Was fun watching his streams on the side while watching lets play.
The fact it lasted 15 years is outstanding. There are full long running tv shows that don't make it half that. 15 years is an eternity to the internet. A great example is AH started around the same time that the first Iron Man came out, it is as old as the MCU and look how much the internet culture has changed since then, what with MySpace being a common enough site to reference in the very first movie. Hell, moving past AH to RT as a whole, it predates *youtube itself* by a few years. Nothing lasts forever but this lasted far longer than anyone could have possibly imagined.
The real achievement was the friends you made along the way. Thank you for everything.
Wise words my friend
Wow, turned 30 when you all ended... Lots of stuff has happened that year but nothing has hit me as hard as finding this out. Thank you alll. The laughs will always be in my memories.

And even though I was later discovering you all then other people (I had no idea who Ray was at first lol) You quickly became my favorite TH-cam channel after discovering you during the Funhaus Overwatch video. I just want to say thank you for everything all of you put into this channel over the years. All the highs and the lows. It's been super appreicated
The first video came out the month before I started highschool at 13 years old. I'm 30 now. Have degrees in Aerospace Engineering, working in tech, and an avid gamer. I owe a lot to the AH videos that I listened too while doing homework, and that helped me stay up at night while procrastinating and cramming. So much of my humor is probably shaped by AH and I truely appreciate what these guys created. It may have changed before it died into something I wasn't used too, and the changed through it's time have been rough with the leaving of people and the reasons why, but I never stopped liking this channel. Thank you AH.
12 years ago my brother comes in the room and goes "Bro have you seen these guys called Achievement Hunter, they are pretty funny" and now we are here. Crazy how fast it goes, thanks for the good times guys!
As a season 1 day 1 RvB viewer I cannot understate both how proud and sad I am that this day has come. So long, and thanks for the memories even though they weren't all good. I love you guys.
I cannot state this enough but I thank you all. Every single one who's ever worked at AH. It shaped my entire teenage years. Thank you all.
I have been watching AH since 2013-2014 and the amount of comments I have made can be counted on one hand, and I know you guys probably won't see this but I feel like this was the perfect send off. Thanks for the all memories and friends I have made along the way
What a lovely detail that the last recommended videos are the first Achievement Hunter video, and the trailer for Dogbark. I've only been a member of the community for a few years - when RT and the Yogscast collaborated. And while I haven't watched a ton of Rooster Teeth stuff, I did latch onto Let's Play and AH. And it's been a grand time ever since. Thanks to the AH team for helping make the past few years bearable.

I think it is important to recognize that Trevor is partially wrong here: it is not Achievement Hunter. You have to remember that when these videos first started, I was 15 years old. Now, when I come back to the videos, there is a moment of nostalgia that hits - I genuinely miss seeing all my old heroes hanging out and playing video games... but I'm an adult now. I joined the Army, I went to college, I did a whole bunch of stuff in my life, but I always tried to keep Achievement Hunter and the Let's Play series at my heart. It just isn't the same because "you" are not the Achievement Hunter I grew up with, your creativity and need to express yourself in videos is irrelevant to me, because you aren't the original gang.
It's like that day in school when you go to sit with your friends, and see that most of them have migrated to other tables, and the ones that now sit at your old table are complete strangers. Sure, you could sit down and have a laugh with them, but you probably won't because they are different.
Achievement Hunter is different. It became something else entirely. It became a group of strangers with a cameo that occasionally was memorable. All the drama that happened, the weird stuff, and everything in-between; they were good memories, and I appreciate the time you guys dedicated to it. It literally was my childhood, every day coming home to see if a new video was posted. Things are different now, you've all moved on, and so have we.
I'll always remember those moments, but I have no qualms stating that Achievement Hunter recently was a far cry from anything creative, and a melding of generally irritating personalities.
I raised my son sitting and watching your content together, I cannot explain how much love and admiration I have for you all.
It really is the end of an era... thing most people in the 25-35 age group have fond memories of AH and LP through their high school and college years.
they even failed at keeping this as the last video uploaded on the channel
2 things that are huge impacts on me.
1. Achievement hunter has been part of my life for more than 50% of it(I’m 29)
2. With the creation of DogBark we can still say no one at this company can name anything.
Through two cities, four jobs, four houses, and an immeasurable amount of chaos and depression, AH has been a stalwart part of my life. Having gotten to see a couple of you when you came to NZ, it's been amazing. Good luck with all the new ventures. :)
I've been watching since Geoff and Jack released fails of the weak #21, RIP AH. Thank you guys for being a great community and for getting me through rough times.
Really a shame to see a legend channel like Achievement Hunter come to an end. Never forget the OG crew that started it all w/Jack & Geoff + other legendary people who work so hard with the comedy, gaming, talk shows, videos & so much more. As they always say, legends never die. Thank You Achievement Hunter for 15 wonderful years on TH-cam!
I found you guys when I was around 12 years old and now I'm 25. Haven't been there for the whole ride, dipped in and out occasionally, but it's truly been a pleasure growing up with you all and watching you evolve both as creators and people. I respect all of you so much and you have truly left a mark on my life in the most positive of ways. I wish you all the best of luck with everything you have planned in the future. ❤
I haven't watched achievement hunter or RoosterTeeth in the last 2-3 years at least but I just want to say thank you for the memories. Teenager me loved everything about you. You had something so special. I remember the genuine excitement looking forward to Halo Reach fails, halo reach horse and minecraft each week. It made me so happy during my teenage years. The impact you guys have had on so many will never be forgotten. I can't even begin to put into words the happiness and impact you guys had on my life and I don't care how that sounds. I've cried laughing many times at your content and I've also cried during the more serious and sad moments. What a rollercoaster it's been. It's sad that it has come to this but I guess all good things come to an end. This was inevitable with the way things were going. Don't be sad it's over. Be happy it happened. Without you guys, I feel like I would be a very different person.
Good bye Achievement Hunter! I'll miss you so much! Thanks for the memories and the laughs!
Unfortuantely, time marches on...
15 years of being excited to get in bed at night only to laugh for a full hour to the newest video upload. Growing older, having AH on my tv while I ate dinner. Wearing your merch out in public and having people get excited to see a fellow AH fan. It was better than any movie or tv show. I can only hope to ever be as happy and entertained as all those years. Thanks for showing us what true comedy is. This channel will be watched for generations
What a throw back. Thanks for the memories. I'd love to see the OG crew get back together every so often and have a catch up game.
Achievement Hunter really was something special. It was a place for us all to come and hang out and watch people that felt like friends just hang out. It wasn’t competitive, it wasnt high stakes, it was just you and the fellas, playing games. Part of what made AH feel untouchable was that friendship bond, it felt like a sitcom on TV that was programmed to never end. When people started leaving and eventually we were left with only Michael as the OG, it really made it clear that times change, friends move on, bad things happen. The bubble was burst. I cant thank everyone enough for how much time and love they put into making this safe space in the corner of the internet for all the friends we have made to just “be”. But now its time for us to go learn how to “be” somewhere else. Make our own corners and connect them together to make an even larger safe space. I have spent more than half of my life watching AH, and I can say now that after all these years, all these games, all these people, I am ready to achieve something new. Thank you everyone.
