I want this feature because the default position of the controls on mobile doesn’t allow me to fully utilize an effective method used for mobile, claw. Claw is a playstyle wherein you can use your other fingers for one or two things so your thumbs don’t have to do all of the work. You can use one finger for jumping, one for shooting, your thumbs for aiming, or whatever finger you want to use to do certain actions．

Used to play jailbreak a lot. The control layout was bad as hell, driving cars was the most difficult thing. This new update gave us a SIGNIFICANTLY better control layout, however, the radio button is quite annoying and i keep accidentally clicking in the middle of power plant.
tip for mobile u can press at the center of the jump and shoot button then u can jump while firing another tip while driving a car u can drag ur finge while driving at the drift button then u can also drift while drive (note-dont leave ur finger while drifting it will not work)
Tip for dummies (on mobile): Use private servers or almost dead servers for practicing your strategies and simply keep getting better with mobile controls.
Speaking as a mobile player that played jailbreak on mobile for over 5 years, the controls suck. The tap to shoot function and previous button systems were way way flexible, faster and easier to use with more effectiveness. The new controls are fixed at very awkward positions which results in many mobile players having to strain your thumb and fingers to pvp, and even more with the new button that allows you to “press E”. Pvp is also affected because you are unable to switch weapons and aim fast enough and I have to rely on one weapon all the time. This is because one hand is focused on moving your character while the other is focused and already strained on holding the jump and shooting button. This makes PvP and being fast extremely straining to do. The controls also sometimes switch positions sometimes after jumping out or into a vehicle, and will even switch positions once you die. This makes muscle memory almost useless, and a lot of the other mobile friends I once knew along with myself, uses muscle memory to play jailbreak A LOT. Overall, I think the new mobile controls are a pain in the ass and is the reason why many of my friends quit jailbreak. Asimo and badcc have got to be stupid if they actually changed the already great mobile controls to something worse. If you guys think this is just “skill issue”, Then I recommend you play on a phone yourself and try to do your combos, equipping and switching your weapons fast, and try not to strain your neck or hands.

The reasons why i quit jailbreak are; 1.controls are terrible,hope they could make it optional so i could use the old one,the new one covers up half of the screen 2.when ur in a gun fight,the police paycheck pops up and covers the left side of ur screen,now your screen is fully covered with both the paycheck and the controls,Leave alone how tiny the red cross button on the paycheck is, 3.they made that mobile players no longer have tap arrest,i quit,but im surprised that they let it return,i just found out about it after watching your video.the hold e to arrest system doesnt work on mobile,pc players just hold a key while mobile players have to hold on a button that you dont know where itll go next,when the crim goes to your left and ur holding e on him,it triggers the joystick and u just keep stop walking like wtf, Like are rhey stupid.pc players just hold e on their keyboards so adding hold e for half a second to the mobile system aint gonna prevent pc players from using it but make mobile players quit .like use your brain smh 5.it was cool driving your realistic looming car around the map with a joystick,just why tf would u add the forward and backwards button,just let us drive with joystick,leave alone how you can no longer hold shift to sprint and keep ascending or descending while driving a heli by holing the button and swipe away from the button... I gave up on mobile jailbreak, I can’t really do that much anymore when I’m literally running super slow compared to all those years ago. I don’t recommend using that thumbstick though
I play on mobile and I’ve had to adjust do the new gui, I started in 2018 in 2019 it got changed. In 2020 it got changed again and this was probably the best gui for mobile (it was rlly op). In 2021 I’m pretty sure it was the same but during October by far the most op mobile has ever been. But in 2022 they made a TON of changed and was so hard to get used to, I’ve gotten used to it now and I’m back to how I was in 2021 October.

What I used to do to get better a jailbreak mobile was watch straw play it and study what he did, then do what I think he did well and the rest go to hell.

I just hate how it forces you to use the same finger to fire and move your camera. That’s not how I like playing. I usually like to use one finger to fire and another to move the camera so I’m not forced to shoot all my bullets away while I’m trying to aim. Any yeah I could just aim and then use one finger to fire and aim but it is a bit more tedious that way.
I think it. Works the same with the old one. There are two missile buttons. One drops missiles right below One shoots missiles to ur desired target So u gotta find the button that shoots missiles U click on your target and click on that button
Tap arresting is actually not cheating on pc bcoz it is still an option,the only way to stop tap arresters are to learn and practice how to be a pro at combat so the u can kill those tap arresters
