You know what I think would be good to up the challenge? No knock-out SASO runs. The idea being that nobody gets hurt, even slightly, except for the targets. Try it out.

You could shoot the tank from the same area where you dropped the snail bomb. Just go to instinct mode and move around a bit, the top part of the tank will show up

Don't know if u had this problem but right after Akka pushed Crest I had to quickly sneak behind her and pick up Crest's gun otherwise she would 'see' it and ran away to tell a guard to pick it up. If so she would never come back to smoke at the cliff and the challenge would fail :)

That happen sometimes, try to reload a save and see if the gun fall down with Crest, if it stay on the floor she would call a guard.

What's a replacement for the goldbrick?
The phone, NPC react to it similar to the goldbrick and it can make loud noise to lure NPC from far away.
