Played this album today, nice and loud in the motor....actually still sounds pretty good. This and Which way does the wind blow are epic tracks,,,,,the first 2 are decent as well. Worth purchasing for those songs alone....The next 2 albums were better though,,,,,still waiting for the 4th!!
INCREDIBLE - Bernie was a star - he's an individual - the only other frontman I can think he resembles is Michael Des Barres - but that's nothing to be ashamed about!
Do you think Bad Religion listened to this album during their prog phase? The lead-off track to their 1983 album "Into the Unknown", "It's Only Over When...", sounds a lot like this song.
INCREDIBLE!..60 YEARS ago,when I was a 15 year old kid,learning the guitar self-taught,I would have said this was just a noisy trashy track!..meaning nothing to purist's like me who wanted to play like Hank Marvin,and all the other great guitarists,who played melodic tunes ...clean and crisp to the ear.....well as time went by ,I DID play all that melodic music...still do,but now,at 75 yrs of age,I discover Grand Prix's "Samurai"..and this track....and all the other tracks by Grand Prix...but THIS one is INCREDIBLE!..the harmonies..guitars...keyboards, drums..everybody works really hard and makes it look like kids stuff!..well orchestrated,and tight as hell...even though they are synchin...it is STILL incredible!..the drummer must have been a Keith Moon fan!...maybe even a long-distance offspring down the line! heh heh! Mind ,Samurai remains my favourite...makes shivers go down my spine on the intro! Thanks for posting!

Saw them at Reading in 1982. They played this track. Loved it ever since. Great band and great set.
