Drug Intervention Outcome

Many people hear the talking heads say that no one gets sober unless they WANT to. Families won’t intervene because they feel like it’s useless because their loved one doesn’t want to. It’s not the want they’re lacking, it’s the willingness. Why would they be willing as long as the family keeps enabling their behavior? Here’s the outcome of a typical intervention case where the want had been present for years but the willingness needed to be created. #intervention #addiction #enabling
