- Lounge Act is a song from Nirvana's second studio album Nevermind, and it is so named because the band thought it would be the sort of song they would play in a lounge. (idk is this true or not) It was the ninth song in the album, and the album was credited as the recording who turned grunge mainstream as a musical genre, and also brought the band to fame.
