I like how each side step amounts to a 4-count where the person takes a step on the -1-, and the counts 2-3-4 bring the other foot next to it. A dancer could play the counts 2-3-4 plain and easy, or could add a little syncopation?

I was also thinking those 1st four (4) counts should be a bit faster on the up beat. That slows down the dance.
