I'm going to start going to the Cabaret balls again. I used to go to them back in the late 90s. I miss getting dressed up to the nines and doing the line dances and learning new ones. Ever since my husband passed away in April of 2022 .I haven't been up to it. So I watch it on TH-cam. God help me get through this grieving process because it hurts so much. I truly miss my husband. The line dances weren't even his thing. He only did it because of me because I like to go to the Cabaret balls and get dressed up and do the line dances. That's real love right there. When someone loves you enough to do things that they would not normally do, but because it makes you happy, they're willing to do it. R.I.P Benjamin Rivera. I miss you so much.
I hope by now it's stinging just that little bit less. I only have losing my dear Mom, and a best friend since I was 14, and her eldest son I was very close to, to really go by but I can tell you it will shrink and grow a hard shell around it. You will know it's there but it won't zap your life like it had. Maybe I shouldn't say a thing since I can't even fathom how bad it will be should I outlive my Babo. But what a miserable life if we had NOT had these sweet guys to go through so much of it with, right?

Oh my word, this brings back so many memories of when I was a kid and my best friend and I used to dance and do the hustle all night long at AA. Every Friday night they had a dance for the recovery people and the recovering folks and their children were allowed to go but you had to at least be 12 and up to dance! We were 12years old and were able to dance, because my best friends father was the chairman lol. Plus, how can you say no to kids who can dance and teach others to dance for free??? We had a blast and that's how our coffee obsession began at 12!
Well, I was a professional dancer during my lifetime, and I always send “if people would just dance, the world would be a happy place”. No wars, no crimes no beatings just joy.
Just joy. I am a dying single man; so now,like King David, I dance before the lord after his own heart. He built us to dance and love one another. Music and dance are two of the greatest gifts he gave us. Dance your whole life and praise him for making us in his image. Dancing is a worship of life.
So good to see. Movement is healthy for your body. Just as the blood pumps your heart muscle, the muscles of your body pump the lymphatic system helping you to cleanse and remove waste and toxins. Blessings. Just love this.

Hey that sugar shack line dance was surreal.....the tall guy in the hat and the one next to him with the leather jacket on was cutting a rug. I think they were great....it was different but brought back old school moves...sharp. I think if you have to be negative about it then don't say anything cause they were doing great and the song and lyrics were good ✌ too.....keep moving it was all good line dancers. Thumbs up❤👍💯🤸
