Mr Suwareh, I was pissed off at you at first. But have nothing but respect for you, after listening to your testimony.
I am sure most of those people asking you those ridiculous questions would have ran away or make worse decisions if they were in your shoes. Some of them ask those ridiculous questions so they don't look mute.
    You are a good man.

The TRRC is very relevant to the current context of the The Gambia. There are so many lessons to learn from the narrations presented by Capt. Suwaray. I hope Gambia we are learning.......The witnesses should be given options to speak in the languages that they are more fluent in, e.g, The Gambian Local Languages and interpretation services be provided in such cases. This will enhance effectively communication and people are able to better express themselves. Congratulations to the TRRC team, Commissioner, Witnesses, all Gambians & Residents of The Gambia.

We are not expecting officers to speak in local languages much more senior officers....

Fatou Ceesay jallow, your point is relevant and I agreed with you. You've got a point, officers or not... expressing there case in any language better suited would've been much better then follows the translation...you are a smart one every reasonable unsalty person will see your point of view!!

I fully believe that Mr Suwareh is not telling the truth and he is taking everyone indeed. He should be taken to court for disobeying an order.

After 30 years of Jawara no TV station no electricity no university. People at that time welcomed the changes. Even to this day BB Darboe former vice president wants to lead this country. So without the change we would still be in a PPP Government. 😎

Cpt. Suwareh is a good element of information towards this coup. He is drunk and was known of drinking, he as superior introduce drinking to the juniors like Jammeh and the others. He did his work as surpose to be to save lives most especially the civilians as he said. I thank him for that. Allow him to speak in local language it will be better for him and the listeners. A drunk man is most of the time honest in most cases. Don't see him as a drunk man but the message he otters is important here. I knew him as responsible man apart from his drunkenness but that is his nature , every individual has likeliness, drinking was his. I hope he will give good information of which he is trying to give. Listen to him keenly and don't look at him as a drunkard but his message could help .

It would be useful for the Government of The Gambia to know how and where Jammeh's rebel group got animations from. From Mr. Suwareh's narrative, It appears as Yaya Jammeh has never cared about preserving & protecting Gambian human lives. He came to power ready to fight with guns to get what he wanted. He was also ready to fight with guns before leaving with no regards to the effects his actions will have on civilian lives. No wounder there has been so much violations of human rights during his 22 years mismanaged rule.

I think Suwareh is telling the truth,atTRR . he have no reason to mislead this commission. But said the ppp goverment was the creators of their own coup.He elaborated that when the goverment brought heavyweapons from china.they the sandan mories were not giving the chances of training with those heayweapons.I maybe wrong, but i think the army and the saderms were not trusthing each other. maybe the politicans were the proxys behind.Mighty army were suprisely ambush by the reminents of disolve sanderms and stole our rights for 22yrs.
