For reals, there's nothing wrong with plastic surgery. It's annoying how people claim that noses can get REALLY small and sharp as you grow, from literal flat to a mountain or something. Your jaw will grow a sharp bone because you shower everyday, etc. Girl that's bs 💀

Yep people need to start accepting the fact that most people arent made perfect and it costs money to look as perfect as celebrities. People need to also stop using puberty as an excuse to explain why their idols look drastically different. Their entire bone structure doesn’t magically change, their nose bridge doesn’t suddenly just get higher and their nose tip doesn’t get way pointier, and i’m sure as HELL that they don’t get magically perfect double eyelids JUST from puberty. Not to mention, you lose weight, it barely effects the fat around your eyes. That’s why you don’t see idols like Seulgi, Jimin and Yeji with double eyelids, even tho they’re skinny asf. Also, it’s no secret that idols get skin whitening injections, too. More than half of Korea probably gets that procedure done 😂
Exactly! When I was a newer kpop fan I thought this might be possible, until it hit me like nope your jawline doesn't magically change because of a little weight loss. All I can say is the plastic surgeons in Korea are miracle workers lol
My nose got higher and more defined as I matured. Nose bridge does grow during puberty. Also loss of baby fat can make the nose look sharper as well. But the change is more subtle, the ppl in this video clearly have had surgery.

Yes I agree majority of the celebrities whether in Kpop and Hollywood force to undergo some enhancement even some of them are enough to be called beautiful it's just there is high competition in entertainment industry they are force to look more than average but if we talked about stunning natural beauty I suggest to check out "Liza Soberano" guys from Philippines.

I never noticed asymmetrical nostrils until I watch videos about plastic surgery. That was very obvious yet we see asymmetrical as something natural rather than “oh, their implant is moving”
But it is not very accurate sign I have assymetrical nostrils naturely because of my deviated septum and I know many people with natural assymetric noses, in real life it's more like a perfect symmetric nose is less common than the assymetric

I am not trying to say anything about the people in the video, I am just saying that asymmetry is not a sign for a surgery

Even as a non-doctor I could literally noticed whether they had surgery or not, especially those who had drastic changes from their pre-debut era. I also noticed that eyelids and nose surgery procedures are the most common. And I love when they only had subtle changes yet turned out very pretty and natural. I just hope that fans are not denial of these situation.

These videos are actually really helpful. When he spoke about the surgery to make her face look more oval, I realised why my face looks this way even after losing weight. I had no idea such a surgery exists. No, I still don't want plastic surgery but it really helped my self confidence to know my face structure is normal

I was so surprised to find out about Sana's cheeckbone reduction, because I knew she had chin implant and something on her eyes, but had no idea the cheeckbone thing. I am actually very happy to find out, because I want surgery on myself, I need braces, and my face structure is so similar to Sana's predebut, I have wanted chin implant for so long, and now after realizing about that cheeckbone procedure, I know it can help me so much. I am so insecure about my "resting bitch face" I have been asked if I am angry, when I am with my mouth closed, and I look like someone I wouldn't like to be friends with because of my expression. I am quite happy to know that I can do something else apart from the chin implant to make my face look more friendly and not intimidating
He is not bashing these idols. Having plastic surgery is not a bad thing. And it doesn’t make them untalented. It’s just for you to know they are not born perfect. And it’s quiet understandable based in beauty standards. The point is to not compare yourself with these people
This is so fascinating! I love these types of videos explaining from a surgeon himself. I dont know why some people want to insist their idols have never had any work done - there's nothing wrong with it! They begin with great faces anyway and just enhance/correct whatever they feel they need. They almost always come out looking great in the end and I don't think it's bad at all!

Actually if you've been following Sana, you can see that she often have weight loss & gain weight (it's on/off). If she gains weight, her double chin is visible.

I'm following a TH-camr who got cheekbone surgery (the inward, like sana's) and it took her only a week to heal completely and show us the results! Honestly, Sana barely looks Japanese any more, she looks like Jeon Somi who is mixed race.

Its the fans who have problems who always see their idols as perfect and cant make mistake even when its obvious. One of the reasons sana and momo look so good I BELIEVE, Is because whoever did their work, considered their ENTIRE FACES when making adjustments on any small thing. The reason many people don't look good with plastic surgery, is because for some reason, some surgeons tend to put "stereotypical perfect" pieces (certsin nose job shapes, porcelain veneers, chin implant shapes, etc) on faces where the REST of the face shapes and characteristics do not balance well with that sort of thing. It's why many "Hollywood women/insta models" look all entirely the same with no deviating uniqueness to them. Where, in Sana and Momos case, their doctor enhanced what was already there. Their doctor didn't put the "ideal kpop chin/nose/eye" on them. They used what worked well with the features they already had.
@keepitsecret-dl1pr i think people who are going to school to become plastic surgeons should be required to take some basic art fundamental classes before graduating! Lessons on perspective, composition, the golden ratio, balance & proportions, etc. I don't see why they shouldn't, they manipulate, shape, mold, form, carve, and sculpt upon a living, breathing, sentient being, with the end goal of having that being (and hopefully, others around them) see the beauty in their work upon their own bodies! Not simply lifeless cold clay or stone, blank paper or canvas!
Finally, someone saying that Tzuyu isn't fully natural I've noticed this since she debuted and when I talk about it ONCE just shut me down. I think Tzuyu looks much better now and has improved her features so much since her debut.

My eyes used to be like Rose's pre-debute eyes with just a hint of double eyelid line when I was about 15. Now I am 24 and my eyelids become deeper and more defined. People would definitely assume that I had have plastic surgery, but my eyes just changed over time.

Most western celebrities are known to get some plastic surgery and people don't lose their shit over it. Why is it such a big deal if idols get surgery? Why do fans keep denying it? to those who are confused whether mono lids can turn into double eyelids, yes, but it doesn't happen within a short amount of time i was born with monolids, but when i was about 1 it gradually turned into double eyelids . however at first it wasn't obvious and unbalanced, now I'm 14 and they are starting to look more balanced and so much deeper and obvious. ofc its different for everyone but from MY experience, a few years cannot make such drastic changes.

one of the things I am most curious about is that they are all very dark before their debut but suddenly they turn white.. how do they do this.. to give an example, giselle, leeserafim yujin.Some said they look like this with cream and make up but even in dance practice videos I don't think their belly and arms will be white with make up or cream so.. I would be very surprised if there is a special surgery for this.

It’s very clear that Momo has a deviated septum. My mother had a deviated septum and she needed surgery so she could breathe because it slowly collapsed in. I’m wondering if Momo’s deviated septum is what is causing her voice to be so unique, it almost sounds like she’s congested when she sings. I really like her voice as it is now, but maybe it would change if she got a deviated septum surgery so she could breathe better?
We don't know for sure. But as a trained singer, I can say that Momo has a bad technique and JYPE's songwriting makes her sound annoying to an extent. If you wanna know good technique - you can look at Jihyo and Jeong Yeon and Nayeon ( meh, but I give her a pass). Momo and Dahyun's voices are the worst in Twice.

I never noticed asymmetrical nostrils until I watch videos about plastic surgery. That was very obvious yet we see asymmetrical as something natural rather than “oh, their implant is moving”
But it is not very accurate sign I have assymetrical nostrils naturely because of my deviated septum
and I know many people with natural assymetric noses, in real life it's more like a perfect symmetric nose is less common than the assymetric

I dont know why some people want to insist their idols have never had any work done - there's nothing wrong with it! Is because whoever did their work, considered their ENTIRE FACES when making adjustments on any small thing.
The reason many people don't look good with plastic surgery, is because for some reason, some surgeons tend to put "stereotypical perfect" pieces (certsin nose job shapes, porcelain veneers, chin implant shapes, etc) on faces where the REST of the face shapes and characteristics do not balance well with that sort of thing.
It's why many "Hollywood women/insta models" look all entirely the same with no deviating uniqueness to them.
Where, in Sana and Momos case, their doctor enhanced what was already there. Their doctor didn't put the "ideal kpop chin/nose/eye" on them. They used what worked well with the features they already had.

Lessons on perspective, composition, the golden ratio, balance & proportions, etc. I don't see why they shouldn't, they manipulate, shape, mold, form, carve, and sculpt upon a living, breathing, sentient being, with the end goal of having that being (and hopefully, others around them) see the beauty in their work upon their own bodies! Not simply lifeless cold clay or stone, blank paper or canvas!

to those who are confused whether mono lids can turn into double eyelids, yes, but it doesn't happen within a short amount of time
i was born with monolids, but when i was about 1 it gradually turned into double eyelids . however at first it wasn't obvious and unbalanced, now I'm 14 and they are starting to look more balanced and so much deeper and obvious. ofc its different for everyone but from MY experience, a few years cannot make such drastic changes.

one of the things I am most curious about is that they are all very dark before their debut but suddenly they turn white.. how do they do this.. to give an example, giselle, leeserafim yujin.Some said they look like this with cream and make up but even in dance practice videos I don't think their belly and arms will be white with make up or cream so.. I’m wondering if Momo’s deviated septum is what is causing her voice to be so unique, it almost sounds like she’s congested when she sings. We don't know for sure. But as a trained singer, I can say that Momo has a bad technique and JYPE's songwriting makes her sound annoying to an extent.
If you wanna know good technique - you can look at Jihyo and Jeong Yeon and Nayeon ( meh, but I give her a pass). Momo and Dahyun's voices are the worst in Twice.

I dont have any problems with idols getting plastic surgery but the photos used here are mostly from magazine covers or some photoshoot so they might have might have photoshopped some pics...however kudos to the surgeon who explained everything here
