5 Inch gauge dive steam locomotive 060 Simplex first steam up of 2024, this is also the first time running around the newly extended raised track at Summerfields Miniature Railway at Bedford Model Engineers Society.
The new extension took place with the hard work from the club’s volunteers to increases the circuit to 1000 feet. It very enjoyable to drive and we look forward to doing some public running days with the locomotive on the raised track throughout the 2024 season.
