Your little Michigan pin reminds me a lot of my Mom's Junior High pin,with the school's initials and the year 47. That was in Hamtramck,we're also from Michigan! I really enjoy your videos and all your finds!
So jealous of your dragons breath necklace, such an unusual pattern in the glass! Really great pieces you found :) The crystal necklace you called rock crystal might just be crystal. Just some info, I’m not sure you may already know this, rock crystal is quartz and older pieces that are real rock crystal are very sought after. Do you have a gem tester? It would be worth checking :) thank you for sharing!
Thank you!! I thought that it may be rock crystal because of its weight and clarity- but I am not 100% sure. You may be right! I have other versions of this type of necklace that are certainly just crystal and are more lightweight. I really do need to get a gem tester- I only have a diamond tester at this point. A presidium tester is on my wish list!! Appreciate the helpful info and will try to do some more research. ❤
@@LittleBlueJewelryBox I just wasn’t sure if you knew, as many people just use the term “rock crystal” and don’t know what that entails. I don’t have one either but that’s also on my wishlist! I do know lead crystal is heavier than glass but not sure the difference with quartz. Quartz is colder than glass and will not warm up as quickly as glass, it’s also harder than glass so will scratch glass. I so enjoy seeing your hauls! Hopefully you find out for sure what it is :)
