When we were kids my dad had the hammock that came with the thing to hook it to and one that would not flip when in it, he worked 3rd shift so in daytime he'd sleep in that whenever he could;and we had geese that would sit right under the hammock and would not let anyone near my dad LOL. Great video, thank you for sharing this campsite with us
In my honest opinion, no one hot hammock camps like you,yer a step above us all.im gettin mine from pomoly on payday.almost went with one tigerpi$$ but just can't give them my money....
Cool video, love hammock camping this time of year, autumn/winter/spring, less people about, no bugs but still the forests are stunning, sweet rig, love a tarp with side pullouts, a ton of room inside when done, did a winter camp this weekend, stunning camp, loads of room for my winter kit loadout for the winter here in the uk, really enjoyable video my friend, good health and safe travels, cheers craig 🌿
Thanks for sharing these experiences with us "city-bound" types!! I am REALLY enjoying your videographer skills too -- good light effects, excellent interesting camera angles, just wonderfully atmospheric to watch!
You definitely do camping right Jeremy, in the uk the only hammock tents and hot tents are by that 0.5 Tigris. I’d call them one if they met by that expectation 😂. When I get mine it’ll defo be a lone wolf design. Your weather looks exactly like Scotlands I followed Mike recently and he informed me of the reverses saltire flag he has 🏴 the province one. Every days a school day. I hope I get over to nova Scotland one day for a visit. Happy camping lads
Some one said you don't share food together, and you said it is because every one of you eat different things, but I say ¿is it so difficult to choose something that is for every one's taste? I mean, one of the greatest things of share with friends is that: to share! Every one puting his hand inside the pot... That is great! Thats my opinion. Great video, by the way!!
Just wanted to say THANKS for your videos - you got me interested in hot tent camping and I just got my tent to give it a go soon. Will be watching your How-To videos and will be testing my first night out on my ranch fields here soon! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
My lonewolf 902 hot hammock tarp arrives on the 15th. I feel like a kid watching the calendar for Christmas lol. Enjoying the channel. Great video. Cheers from Cape Breton guys.
Hey Jeremy, too bad it rained instead of snowed. I'm so sick of rain, if it wasn't hot as balls all summer long, it was raining like hell. Can't wait for the snow! Well at least you guys stayed warm and cozy until you had to pack up. 👍🏕️
Man, I’ll tell you if this were me I know I’d never get out of that heated hammock. It’s like being a baby kangaroo 🦘 in its moms heated pouch living the good life!💕😲
Awesome video. Just got done with my 14 day hammock camping trip. It was fantastic my mom made me a rip stop nylon tent just like your canvas tent. It works great down here in central Florida during summer and early fall. Can’t wait to use my lone wolf hammock tent in some cold weather tho
hey lonewolf, would you have any interest in doing a video discussing low impact camping tactics? not cutting standing trees, making your campsite look like no one was ever there when you leave, etc. Love the content, keep it coming.
You guys realise those trees are already dead right? Standing wood is sought after because if it’s on the ground it’s usually too wet and decayed to be suitable for firewood
I find it odd that they put the oven door on the opposite side of the glass, fire light ambiance when checkin the buns er taters would be nice... love yer setup...workin on mine....
recently discovered your channel here on you tube. Just wanted to let you know i really enjoy your videos. The camera work comes through really good. I also enjoy your locations. Jeremy another great video but I have to comment it is so cold down here in the lower 48 did one of our Canadian cousin on the planes forget to close the back door.
Hey Lonewolf, thank you for the videos and content much enjoyed in our household, Boomer's become the star of the show here...lol Random question is there enough room in this tent to use the amok daruma setup with the stove as well? I guess hammock being used sideways instead of the regular lengthwise?
I noticed you stopped using your jute twine match. I use mine all the time. It makes the fero rod last longer. I also noticed you baton everything. With as much wood as you use it seems like an axe or hatchet would save you time and energy. I baton a lot myself but I use a hatchet or ax for most of it. GREAT VIDEO.
Were you always a hammock sleeper, or is this something you had to learn to like? I hate hammocks like the bejebus, I think I would probably rather sleep on the cold, hard, frozen soil, but I haven't put that to the test, lol. Do you find them easy to get used to sleeping in?
I find them comfortable for a night but personally I would use a ground setup for multiple nights as a hammock is not comfortable for a long trip for me
I was wondering what kind of floor space does that hammock hot tent have in regards to others not in the hammock being able to camp in there with you? I love the idea of the hammock hot tent and would love the setup although it is currently out of my price range but it would make it better if the setup worked for more than just myself.
Ok so I am looking at a Hammock hot tent but, I have questions. Can I use a conduit homade Tensa inside the tent with a ridge line INSIDE holding up the tent using tent poles.to hold up the tarp. ( Free standing with no tree???) Most likely using pool noodles or something on the top of the Tensa. I use a standard 11' hammock. I am a Motorcycle camper and can tow a trailer so I am able to carry a tent and hammock set up, but that would suck for me. I always sleep better in a hammock. Most likely carry a MR. buddy heater instead of the wood stove. I can refill my 1lb bottles, so no big deal there. I do have a Nature Hike Mongar 2 with the add on vestibule and 4" sleep pad, but like a hammock. ANY THOUGHTS??
I love the hammock hot tent. But I am between stoves for that size of a setup. I was looking at the T-Brick (regular size) and the T-Brick Mini. Would be Mini be large enough to heat that space? (Where I am at the 'teens' Fahrenheit would be the coldest it gets) I liked the smaller weight and size for hiking it in of the mini, but I also want it to function. It's hard to find size recommendations. I believe in buying quality and 'buy once, cry once.' I am just going back and fourth between these stoves. Any input would be appreciated. I love your videos and thanks for bringing us along on your adventures.
Not to be rude, just some arm chair camping. When cutting down those two trees. Would it not make since to have an axe also? The saw would be used to cut the tree into manageable logs (for size). By using a saw to take the tree down you run a risk of pinching the saw blade and possibly damaging it. Just asking or is your preference?
Hope you enjoy the adventure. Links below:

There's something soothing about watching someone/people camping. It's rugged yet very peaceful... being in nature.
When we were kids my dad had the hammock that came with the thing to hook it to and one that would not flip when in it, he worked 3rd shift so in daytime he'd sleep in that whenever he could;and we had geese that would sit right under the hammock and would not let anyone near my dad LOL. hey lonewolf, would you have any interest in doing a video discussing low impact camping tactics? not cutting standing trees, making your campsite look like no one was ever there when you leave, etc. Love the content, keep it coming.
Thank you, it may be a possibility, but I do cut dead standing often
True ... it is not good to see trees being cut down in life :(
Yes, no reason to cut living trees
You guys realise those trees are already dead right? Standing wood is sought after because if it’s on the ground it’s usually too wet and decayed to be suitable for firewood

With the hammock hot tent i recommend a standard size t brick or standard size t1 from pomoly for stoves

we only cut dead standing, so there mostly light and easy to keep the blade from getting pinched, but for sure in some cases an axe would be ideal.

i love your videos.
also, i just bought this tent and a stove.
it will be a game changer for me.
