For the waterfall "Curug Telu," you have missed one spot in the complex, which is "Curug Lawang" or "Sendang Bidadari." People here often mention both names for the same place. The location is precisely when you first enter after the ticket purchase booth, on the left side of the stairs. I recommend visiting around 11-12 noon when the weather is clear. During this time, you can witness the small and incredibly beautiful waterfall illuminated by the sunlight, making the water appear greenish-blue. What makes it even more extraordinary is that the waterfall is inside a cave, but be cautious as the place is very slippery

Hey, I'm a Hong Konger who's married to a beautiful lady from Purwokerto and i've been there twice but never been to the waterfalls. There's plenty of beautiful places to explore around Purwokerto indeed! Yep, i don't see that much westerners there but a bunch of asians once in a while. Central Java government needs to promote their places more often!! Even East java is pretty well known to foreign tourists but almost no foreign tourist knows about Central Java. i could have never known about this beautiful places in Central Java if i were not married to my wife from there!!! Sad but true. Anyway you got one subscriber from Hong Kong !!Cheers.

Purwokerto is my Hometown and baturraden is my favorit place to visit for week end..❤❤❤... Years before pandemic, about 90's to 2000 there's foreign tourists form netherland that literally comes to baturraden, (usually on thursday) and then take a sight seeing tour package through jungles and tracking a village road which is very exciting.... And I'm used to be one of the local tour guide there.... i was still 18-19 y.o at that time..😊😊❤❤

You missed curug gede, curug bayan, curug jenggala, and electric dam from colonial era. Litterary below grand kanaya. While you now heading east, i suggest pacitan, east of solo. lot of beautiful beach but stay hidden. Banyuwangi on east end of java also have beautiful natural beaches surrounded with forest

Theres so many place like this in Indonesia. Most of them most visited at weekend. tourist (local) prefer stay at city center in Purwokerto, then do day tour by car or motorcycle. More fun rather than stay in Baturraden area.

Amazing trip, Indonesia has a thousand hidden GEMS, everywhere you go, you Will find Magical place.. if you have a chance maybe You can come in Tawangmangu Borders of east Java and central Java, about 3 hours from jogjakarta .. A Paradise Will be stand before your eyes
You missed curug gede, curug bayan, curug jenggala, and electric dam from colonial era. Litterary below grand kanaya. While you now heading east, i suggest pacitan, east of solo. lot of beautiful beach but stay hidden. Banyuwangi on east end of java also have beautiful natural beaches surrounded with forest

You must try to go to Menganti beach which is located in Kebumen Regency that is also near from Purwokerto (only 2 hours from Purwokerto)

Theres so many place like this in Indonesia. Most of them most visited at weekend. tourist (local) prefer stay at city center in Purwokerto, then do day tour by car or motorcycle. More fun rather than stay in Baturraden area.
