Maybe alien dinosaurs do exist by being accidentally created by humans. I used to think that was a stupid concept that the Land Before Time 7 thought up but Jurassic Park took the idea for one of their games and made it work.
I've always thought troodons looked creepy. It was like an alien, but this game took it 2 steps further. They had glowing eyes and parasitic nesting habits. These things are freaky.
It’s also like with the Xenomorphs. When there’s no queen or female alien, the male would capture its targets and turn its victims into human or humanoid eggs. It’s even as creepy as those Troodons’ egg laying process.
kevin rianto It was a deleted scene in Alien, yeah. But, it’s still a very interesting and scary method of creating more Xenomorphs. And yes, they can choose which gender they can decided during their early adulthood.
I remember how creepy the Troodon were, and it would be really cool to see them reappear. It's far and few between that you see anything scare a raptor in this series (legit "screw-this-I'm-outta-here" scared, anyways), and its glowing eyes and clicking made me think of the Predator films.
A sickly, limping Trex walks onto set, blood and missing teeth, polyp infested mouth. It looks off at the cast, it mouth opens and it only makes a confused and defeated roar before it’s head gives way pulling the head sideways a wet and stiff popping crackling noise can be heard as its head is turned, forced off center by its own weight and it’s body follows suit with its head hitting the ground and being dragged a few meters before its body falls stopping the defeated tyrant, blood streaks, skin and flesh being left in the ground, the baggy flesh of the T.Rec starts to ripple and the king let’s out its final gurgled breaths, too weak to even struggle and crimson flows from its mouth as if threatening the earth with a Red Sea such as the Bible said was a sign of the end of days. In the red flow followed chucks of viscera and something else dark, at first they believed it to be simple meat until a long neck and almost radiant eyes emerged and turned to look at them. The eyes of the dead beast shot open, a expression of horror on the T.Rex’s dull eyes, being pushed out by something underneath as the baggy skin and flesh started to move and ripple like something moving under still water. More of the creatures emergent, their heads sticking out of the red lake and spilling out of the river and flesh started to bloom on the Tyrant as something underneath started to dig its way out
Problem is they seem almost scared to make a really dark, spooky Jurassic park movie. The first one had a hint of the darkness, the second one was almost comical, the third one was straight up hilarious.. The fourth fell somewhere between the first and second in terms of darkness/maturity...
They might go that route in the third Jurassic World film, who knows? They are extremely dangerous zoo animals which is why they were euthanized, but since it is clear that Ingen is more interested in finding ways of using dinosaurs as efficient military assets, Troodons would be more lethal than Velociraptors.

Am I the only one that thinks the dilophosaurus was adorable? I mean, yea it spits blinding venom but the small size and little woops it makes is just plain cute to me. especially considering the real life version was huge with crooked jaws and knife like teeth, and considering I was used to seeing that monster of a beast, seeing this doggosaurus was just, cute to me, idk I’m probably on my own here
Dilophosaurus actually grew to about 20 feet long, possibly bigger. They weren't known to have a neck frill or poison glands. The theory is that the hollow double crests were for mating display, possibly for making a hooting sound.
I remember when I first started watching your vids and I told you about them on the scariest Jurassic Park moments. I had no idea you hadn’t played the game at that point. I always thought the Troodons were by far the darkest part of the JP franchise.
Don't get me wrong; the "Jurassic World" trilogy's two hybrid species so far have shaped up (and *are* shaping up in the case of the Indoraptor) to be truly formidable threats NOT to be taken lightly. But I'll be honest, ever since I played Telltale's game, I *was* hoping the Troodon was going to be brought to the big screen. I agree that it IS a truly creepy dinosaur. Oh well, there's always "Jurassic World 3!"
KSound Kaiju That's a plausible theory. But the Dinosaur Protection Group's uncovered InGen documents indicate that it's gone extinct by the time of the first "Jurassic World."
velociraptor4you. Yeah but due to its small size and nocturnal habits They could have been wrong and they were hiding Tho, the Volcano killed most of them most likely
Very creepy. Also similar to how the Xenomorph in Alien franchise would decimate our world which is the treat in the franchise. Troodons would wipe out entire towns not by a full attack but attacking a few retreating, then waiting for persons to become sick take em away and hatch more. Great and unexpected video.
I already knew what a Troodon was before Jurassic Park: the Game. Since I was introduced to the Trinity: a JP inspired raptor-sized Troodon with two horns on the back of her head (and the main antagonist in Dino Stalker; although Trinity didn't have the sickle claws, she DID control the raptor packs). I actually agree with you on JP's Troodon as the most creepiest out of all the Jurassic Park dinos. BTW I really love your new TH-cam channel header.
One thing I love that you do is how it feels that you truly appreciate you Patreon patrons, while other youtubers don't sound as grateful for the support.
@Klayton Great video as always and I'm glad someone actually did an in-depth video of the Troodons. Do you think, since there isn't an actual fossil record of the Troodons, that these creatures are the early examples of the genetic engineering/ gene splicing we see in Jurassic World? The thing that convince me were the toes. The Troodon has the exact replica of Raptor's lone claw. I could be wrong about that since there are animals that may have the exact same thing. DNA aside, I wouldn't put it pass Wu to start his experiments early and revealed it to Hammond.
Thank you for giving more spotlight to the Troodon, as it should have more than it was given, these animals are the 4th most dangerous creatures created by InGen and Masrani Global, behind Indominus, Indoraptor, and Ultimasaurus. (ranked greatest to least in lethality) However no complete skeleton of the Troodon has been found as a matter of fact the previous Troodon fossils discovered have declassified and renamed into 2 new Troodontids. (I don’t have their names) The only fossil remains of Troodon as of right now are it’s serrated teeth, so not only did InGen not know what they were until after they hatched, they shouldn’t have known even long after, or at least when their teeth came in. Now the Troodons were mixed with spiderwasp, I thought I was the only person who picked that up, most people believe that the Troodons DNA is 100% complete (not a hybrid) but it I don’t recall it ever being mixed with frog, when if it was, there is a low chance that it would ave been mixed with the same breed that the velociraptors were mixed with, there are multiple reasons why it could have layed eggs, maybe they weren’t fertilized, chickens lay unfertilized eggs, as well as Emu, and the best that they built was similar to that of an emu, or it was just because they are similar to birds, especially since their closely related to raptors.
Great video, Personally when I first saw the troodons thought they were kinda funny looking because of the flashlight eyes, but after I saw them lay eggs in that guy's stomach I was terrified.
Could you make a video about the Herrasaurus since the creature did make an appearance in the 2011 video game. Videos like these give me the chills and that makes me like these videos. Can't wait to see more of these videos!!
Great video but I couldn't help to get excited for that JP Nes videogame announcement, I love that game , specially the music. Let us know when is ready.
Don’t feed me to a T-Rex for this, but I’d love to see a remake of Jurassic Park and Lost World. But ONLY adapt them only off the books, have most of the movie be practical (like the first two) and have it be rated R with all the graphic stuff. I mainly just want to see Nedry get his stomach slit open with top notch practical guts and stuff, along with those monsters.
When I saw that trailer about the game and the mention of a new dino, I didn't know what to expect, but now you told me they're troodons, venomous ones and creepy looking. Never played the game, but can hope to
I really wanted this version of the Troodon to appear in Camp Cretaceous because they’re awesome and also because it would make the game even more canon. Sadly the Troodon never showed up 😔
these guys are some of my fave jp dinos, they look like the hybrid of a crocodile and raptor, heard people complain about the luminous eyes but I would point out that at night when ligh is reflected off them crocodile eyes are very similar, really hope these guys and the herrasaurs make it into a future movie
Hey Klayton, huge fan of your channel. I think my favourite video was when you imagined Jurassic Park as an R-rated film and discussed the implications of that. I think it would be a great topic to discuss a Jurassic Netflix series - what would that look like? Would it be best as a prequel, an alternate remake of the original novel, or an untold story set within the films canon? There are a lot of possibilities so it would be a fun discussion with another JP enthusiast.
While I’m not super hopeful these will be in Jurassic world 3, they did state the third film won’t have any hybrid dinosaurs. Personally I think these would be a good “weaponized” dinosaur.
the fact that it is now apart of a live show and they show them as a passive and nice animal creeps me out, when I sent to see it and they said troodon I was ready for the show to turn not family friendly. The new generation wont see them as the monsters they once were
Finally, I've waiting for this, Troodon in the JP franchise is indeed the most spookiest dinosaur. It would be a scary thought if any of them ever got off the island.
Dr Grant and the others not knowing about something much worse than a Tyrannosaurus, 3 Velociraptors and a few Dilophosaurs out there in the jungles of Isla Nublar is a scary thought to me. The design and sound effects of Ingens Troodon is awesome :) The sound reminds me of a predatory bird.
well the unknown really frightens, it would be interesting to see alan seeing a dinosaur that he had no idea he had been cloned. not to mention that the protagonists never get to see the diloposaurus.

Yes that's troodon! The best option to be the third movie antagonist.. not one or two but hundreds millions.. imagine an terrorist attack on every major cities where troodon hach eggs on the dead people.. imagining it spreading like a plague imagine it reproducing... That's it Jurassic World 3: The Troodon Apocalypse Lol lol lol lol
It would also be fun to see that Giants pre historic insects... I want to see the world being taking over.. them the evil plan of the rogue nation fails and they can control what they had unleashed after finish their enemmies and are also overrrunned by them.. only China remains where doctor Wu is hiding and working on a solution to rebalance.. now China uses all the industrial capacity to build more cloning facility to unleash something to to control the plague of troodons.. but is also overrrunned now by other dinossaurs after that humanity is reduced to very few numbers.. Ian Malcolm was right we are now on Jurassic world... Now humans have to coexist with dinossaurs and struggle to survive on feudal cities where less dangerous dinossaurs are part of their lives and the worst ones are waiting them on the other side of city walls.. now humans live inside a cage of dome cities where pteranodons flying free over it.. them next we can think about somekind of intelligence of dinosaurs learning to using human knowledge... Maybe some human raptor breed.. I don't know..
The theory is that the hollow double crests were for mating display, possibly for making a hooting sound.
varanid9 So does that mean what I think it means? Lol.
Yea I’m aware of this, it’s definitely a far more imposing creature in my opinion, frill or no frill
Ryaquaza 1 do not be fooled by its cuteness
Ryaquaza 1 The little dilo in the movie was a juvenile.
really says somthing when even the raptors run from this small dino
I remember when I first started watching your vids and I told you about them on the scariest Jurassic Park moments. I had no idea you hadn’t played the game at that point. I always thought the Troodons were by far the darkest part of the JP franchise.
You've stuck around for a looong time man! :D
And yes now that I've played it I agree! They're extremely scary!
What is that pfp bruh.
Troodon is scary
Don't get me wrong; the "Jurassic World" trilogy's two hybrid species so far have shaped up (and *are* shaping up in the case of the Indoraptor) to be truly formidable threats NOT to be taken lightly. But I'll be honest, ever since I played Telltale's game, I *was* hoping the Troodon was going to be brought to the big screen. I agree that it IS a truly creepy dinosaur.
Oh well, there's always "Jurassic World 3!"
Do you mean.
Mega Lawsuit Movie number 6?
XD
Kat West If you wanna go that route, then yes. 😄
velociraptor4you. Maybe Troodon snuck on the boat and cargo
They lied low eating rats and escaped on the mainland when the boat landed
KSound Kaiju That's a plausible theory. But the Dinosaur Protection Group's uncovered InGen documents indicate that it's gone extinct by the time of the first "Jurassic World."
velociraptor4you. Yeah but due to its small size and nocturnal habits
They could have been wrong and they were hiding
Tho, the Volcano killed most of them most likely
I love the way Troodon was portrayed in the game, awesome creep factor that I would love to see in a film.
Man I wish they would put these creatures in one of the movies!!! How bad ass!!!
I’m glad you mentioned their calls. That’s one of the creepiest parts for me, that low, echoing clicking...
Big fan of these Jurassic Park:The Game videos...have any plans to do anymore of these?...
I'll be doing a History of the Troodon eventually and also a video that goes over its placement in canon. More will probably come from that! :)
Klayton Fioriti
Yay!...
0:59 they're just acting how they act......
Thanks for uploading, Klayton! I did agree with you on this eerie critter.
This might just show upon my blog's next article.
Hey bro, from one Jurassic fan to another, I really enjoy your content. Keep it up! And as always, take it easy!
Hey thanks dude! :D
I also think troodon is creepy as hell!
Great video!! The troodons are really creepy...but the roar of the spinosaur haunts me.
3:55 thanks for that Klayton. Got some chills now
The Troodons were so so so SO COOL!!!!! I so want to see them in the future!
I like how it starts off creepy then you just change the music and subject and it has a 'calm' feel to it 👍
This might sound random but your ending bgm is really awesome with the dinos roars in the background
That art of Dennis Nedry in the jeep with the dilophosaurus, is horrifying. Horrifying, but awesome.
When you make a dinosaur that makes even the Antirrhopus run in fear, *YOU FUCKED UP*
I just love these videos. Great insight on what's to come.
I loved the transition into the outro 10/10
This Troodon would easily fit Primeval from the future era
0:30 you when your mom leaves you in the car and says, "I'll be right back," and takes 3 hours
I, too, get eaten by a dilophosaurus when I am impatient.
Love the frequent uploads! Keep it up man!
: holy shit you just highlighted my comment
Holy Crap...
SO AWESOME!✨
I have an idea, Do you think you could do a video about if Jurassic park the game is and/or should be canon
BGamerSaurus Discussions, Roleplay and gameplay
Nice idea
I'll be doing that eventually. Its on the list :)
Klayton Fioriti cool
Klayton Fioriti So it was already planned?
Will the JP movie reviews be released this month or next month? Just wondering because we are nearing the release of JW Fallen Kingdom.
They will be out next month in June! This month a LOT of stuff will revolve around The Lost World for its 21st anniversary! :D
Thx dude your awesome
This game was great, I never played it but I watched the play-through and loved it
The dilphosaurus has always been the creepiest Dino in the franchise for me
@Klayton
Great video as always and I'm glad someone actually did an in-depth video of the Troodons.
Now the Troodons were mixed with spiderwasp, I thought I was the only person who picked that up, most people believe that the Troodons DNA is 100% complete (not a hybrid) but it I don’t recall it ever being mixed with frog, when if it was, there is a low chance that it would ave been mixed with the same breed that the velociraptors were mixed with, there are multiple reasons why it could have layed eggs, maybe they weren’t fertilized, chickens lay unfertilized eggs, as well as Emu, and the best that they built was similar to that of an emu, or it was just because they are similar to birds, especially since their closely related to raptors.
that Troodon would give Venom a run for his damn money!!!
Never know this kind of dinosaur before! Thanks buddy!
These guys would’ve been great for a Halloween special. 🎃 👻 🦖 Guess I’ll have to wait for the NES bonus.
ChefWonders welp the troodon isnt going to be just a halloween dino but a regural dino you can encounter and attack!
Can't wait to see more of these videos!!
that 8 bit game is going to be awesome i just know it!!!Keep up the good work both Klayton and Spicy Guy!!!!!!
Vetal83 thanks a lot! We appreciate your support!
"Alright who's the dumbass who thought it be a good idea to bring this hell spawn back to life someone just had to be on a god trip"
I am so happy you enjoyed the Troodons as much as I do.
I'd love to play that game!!! I'd also love to see a reskin of the Jp sega Genesis game with jw sprites
This is pretty messed up... Great video as always!
I've always hoped they would bring them into the movies, but then again, it probably wouldn't let them keep that Pg-13 rating
These little guys were so freaky that they even had the Velociraptors a bit freaked out by them.
The troodon always scares the crap out of me when I first saw it when I played it 😅
They’re just as horrific in Ark as in Jurassic Park, I’d also like to see you do videos on said creatures from Ark
Great video but I couldn't help to get excited for that JP Nes videogame announcement, I love that game , specially the music. Let us know when is ready.
A compy raptor? Whoah. Troodon is my favorite dino outside JP lore
These things are nightmares but some what cool at the same time
Creepiest? Those things were FUGLY as hell LOL 😂😂😂
FINALLY someone talking 'bout JP's troodon
Don’t feed me to a T-Rex for this, but I’d love to see a remake of Jurassic Park and Lost World. But ONLY adapt them only off the books, have most of the movie be practical (like the first two) and have it be rated R with all the graphic stuff.
I mainly just want to see Nedry get his stomach slit open with top notch practical guts and stuff, along with those monsters.
When I saw that trailer about the game and the mention of a new dino, I didn't know what to expect, but now you told me they're troodons, venomous ones and creepy looking. Never played the game, but can hope to
If you ever played ark then you would realize everything you said was spot on. They are very creepy and deadly.
The troodon has always been a creepy scary dinosaur in all kinds of franchises
i set up my patreon pledge the other night, wasn't expecting to hear my name in the end credits lol, ty Klayton
i think if the velociraptors were accurate to the real life ones they could still be menacing and the Troodons are the best example of that.
Love it’s Xenomorph style inspiration
During the defense of the room where they found De-caf's body the Troodon seemed to make noises which sounded like Elk call's.
What are you?!
Troodon:screech( we are venom)
Mr conductor from dinosaur train had a shaky past
I just realized that the "clicking" sound they make while hunting is very reminiscent of The Predator.
Great video Klayton! ;)
Troodons are scary especially in ark alone
I know right.
The D-Rex!
