Since you own the guitar, is it made in japan or Indonesia? Thomann has it listed as made in japan but the axion label range is supposed to be Indonesian.

@@giancarlom. litterly i own 11 guitars this is my fav ,, but i just learnt the hard way, as these are active pickups remove all cables/patch leads or you will drain the battery and the guitar doesnt work!!, but i love it i just uploaded a vid on my channel too of this guitar ...hope this helps :)
Ibanez had an S series variant of this in last year's range. They now have TWO different flip-flop finish S guitars and one of these RGs. Meanwhile, PRS still wants everyone to drink the 500-only-super-hard-limited-exclusive-rare-finish Kool-Aid in 2021.
They did this colour on a through neck with EMG 81/85s about 15 years back. The one I'd ordered got trashed in a stor room accident before I picked it up and I never saw one cheap again. Fingers crossed, my Axion lands tomorrow, along with a bass for the missus.
I had that one too! The finish was a little different. Much more heavier sparkling, and there was no purple in the chameleon effect. Ended up selling it too cheap for like 500 bucks with a j-craft case. I had/have a Jackson SLSMG which I felt played and sounded better, so it felt redundant to have two neck through fixed bridge emg guitars at the time. But man, was the finish on that thing cool!!! Would love to have one if I can get a deal. Otherwise, I will probably pick up one of these, or that awesome polar lights rg5120m coming out this year.
I bought one recently. It plays and sounds great, and is feature rich. But, it did come with some minor but noticeable cosmetic flaws. Discolouration and uneven binding on the fretboard, and the scratchplate does not rest flush against the body.
I know the chemistry behind that paint . 1 oz of that paint costs about the same as all the other parts and materials and labor . Your local custom auto body shop can do it better . There's also Thermo-paint , changes color as the temperature changes. Just saying .
interesting point, you sure of that ? maybe the garage is good with colours, but will they take care of the specificity of a guitar without damaging it ?
@@vincentdelmas2792 if they're using these pigments then yes . Just tell them what you do and don't want . Custom paint shops have a lot of pride in their paint reputation . Especially when a new customer base might walk in. 😂

@@albertmarkethinkpr1325 It's funny because I did that with an ESP Ltd I owned. Sold the EMGs and got myself some nice passiv pickups for the money. But I like to tinker with my guitars and love to solder, it's pretty calming to me.

the small selector switch is actually the coil tap, and the push pull volume is for the voice 1 and voice 2 switch

Get it, change the pickups to whatever you like and sell the Fishmans, as you will easily get around 200 bucks for them.
