Good to see the very rare Boundary Waters lake turtles, lake rays, and lake nurse sharks out this time of year. Clearly their migration route from the St Lawrence, through the Great Lakes and back out within the month of July alone leaves very little time for seeing these magical creatures in the wild. What a great trip!
I’m just amazed at the underwater shots and the seemingly tropical underwater fish and creatures!! Who knew they were so far north?? Love the adventures!!

Another expedition successfully completed. Monty is so good at planning these trips. At one point I was so engrossed with the action on the screen when a motorbike went down the road, I was confused for a millisecond as to how was there a motorbike on the lake, duh moment. All's well that ends well. With all those flies I was thinking that the winter trips do have an advantage. Thanks for posting, take care, be safe.

I must say that watching your camping videos I can only imagine the energy you expend ; especially knowing all the camera set ups for shots and having to deal with all that extra work. I could tell that certain days you must be exhausted and would need a rest and chill day. I would have to assume it is worse on those hot ...buggy days. I am a Fall/ Early spring camper. I love the Fall best of all. I look forward to this Octobers trip up to the west end of Mackinac County . As well, I am looking forward to watching your camping trips this fall .

I must say that watching your camping videos I can only imagine the energy you expend ; especially knowing all the camera set ups for shots and having to deal with all that extra work. I could tell that certain days you must be exhausted and would need a rest and chill day. I would have to assume it is worse on those hot ...buggy days. I am a Fall/ Early spring camper. I love the Fall best of all. I look forward to this Octobers trip up to the west end of Mackinac County . As well, I am looking forward to watching your camping trips this fall .

Good one you got me with the stingray & shark didn't think they were up there, but that's why I like watching never know what you're going to do crazier than a loon you are crack me up and make me think. The two fish Larry n Walter meals were awesome epic video really enjoyed it.

Thoroughly enjoyed this part just as i have enjoyed the first two bits. One day you should totally make a Sir Monty moans soundtrack, he is pretty freaking awesome for real. I worry about all those small smallmouth you caught on all those lakes, they are so aggressive they will take over completely. Really enjoyed this adventure of Matt and Sir Monty.
