    Do you have any tips on how to fix the charging port? The charging battery (plugged into wall) has a steady green light but isn't charging the scooter. Seems the port on the machine might be malfunctioning? Curious if there's a fix before taking it to the shop...

    This is a false video if ever I've seen one! There is absolutely no way that any reliable, efficient and cheap transport solution like this can be anywhere near this easy to repair every year if required!
    Where is the skinned knuckles? The hands covered in grease! The hot burning oil as you pull the sump plug! I'm calling bullshit!
    (Jokes, while mine's not perfect I really do like my Inokim Ox! Keep up the great videos)

  • @wwheatley2886
    @wwheatley2886 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I've only had mine a week and there's a slight sqeaking from what sounds like the suspension arms, its not too annoying yet but I'd rather deal with the issue now.
    Have you come across this and what was the solution?
    Thank you.

    • @UrbanMachina
      @UrbanMachina  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't believe that's something we have encountered. Maybe you can try removing the suspension arms to inspect any signs of unusual wear on the edges of the suspension adapter blocks.

    Thank you for this video.
    Can you provide a more detailed check list on what should be checked, cleaned, and replaced regularly and how?
    Like...
    1) Which parts to oil/grease regularly and how.
    2) Which nuts/bolts to check for tightness and how.
    3) How often should we check and/or replace brake pads, batteries, tires, etc.? Every 5,000 kms?
    4) Which wires / connections to check and how.
    5) How to check and clean/repair water leaks into the deck/battery.
    6) How to check, clean/grease the motor.
    7) How to check and clean/dry the throttle and LCD Display in case of accidental rain exposure.
    Basically, like the Periodic Maintenance Schedule that car manufacturers put on the user manual. 😊
    Thank you!

    Hello!
    Is there any possibility change accelerator settings?
    The default operating mode is abnormal. The scooter should not so sharply increase speed.
    It’s not convenient, dangerous, stupid, and nothing. It should be possible to configure a smoother increase in speed.
    especially since the accelerator handle stroke has a large margin. Otherwise, why such a large stroke of the handle? For beauty?
    Thank!

    • @UrbanMachina
      @UrbanMachina  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What you're describing is not normal. The Ox has a very gradual acceleration. Maybe you're experiencing a faulty spring in your throttle.

    • @fashion5vixen
      @fashion5vixen 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the same problem. It’s very jumpy to start and tricky to stay on. How can I have this fixed?

    • @gorjnjch
      @gorjnjch 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fashion5vixen My speed settings have been changed. The third speed is a maximum of 35 km. At higher speeds, it is impossible to visually control the quality of the road surface. But, I start moving, always at first speed. Of course, it's not convenient to constantly switch speeds. But I see no other option. Electric scooters, only 100 years old, in 10 years, manufacturers and engineers will come up with something. As for replacing the speed regulator, this is a real option. The famous Chinese site has all the details from this scooter.

    • @faithgrangerfilms3292
      @faithgrangerfilms3292 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have been able to get VERY gradual acceleration by using two methods: 1. reducing top speed in my settings (I don't ride fast so I don't need more than 15 mph) and this will help some. 2. Learn to use your index finger AND thumb BOTH to control throttle. Since doing this i am able to have very very small increments of throttle turn and this way super smooth acceleration. If i try to use my thumb alone, it gets a bit crazy. The index finger added control really helps immensely. ALSO make sure your tire size setting is set at 10. If you accidentally changed it to 8 you will have very jerky torque.
