  • I finally installed the Perfect Pass and it works really well. Now I can launch on 8s and with no problem. I highly recommend perfect pass if you have a high powered rc car or truck. It helps in many ways.

    Thanks for sharing the Perfect Pass. I have heard about Perfect Pass before but had no idea what it was. I was under the impression that Throttle Exponential was the same thing. If you have a good radio it seems like that is basically the same concept. I have no idea but I have noticed that some cars just spin out more on takeoff than others. All things being equal. Great video for sure.

    Don't get me wrong? But am I missing something here? Can't this all be done with your throttle curve, epa's, punch control and simple driving technique? This is really not a great representation of this product bro.

    • @rcnitro001
      @rcnitro001  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tried it all and so far this takes the throttle pull guessing completely away. I like trying new ideas and electronics when they seem reasonable. So far it's been a pretty good product.

      @@rcnitro001 Yeah I get that though. For me, I think the fun is the fact that no 2 speed runs are ever the same. That's the thrill in it for me at least. Learning to control my car (myself) and the trial and error that comes with it, is what makes the palms sweaty with each pass🏎🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁

    Cool video, I have an older XO-1 myself that has a Hobbywing Max 6 with 4985SL 1,650KV other that mostly stock but last run i bent a half shaft on the left front driveshaft and i stripped the stock plastic spur gear. I'm thinking about putting in a Castle MMX8s with sensored 1717 1,650KV or keeping the Max 6 combo i also looked into new driveshafts since the stock ones aren't that great.

      Try out the gpm drive shafts. They have held up pretty good so for me

      That is the precise set up I am putting together (the Caster MMx8). Crazy that the motor and esc is about an ounce less than the stock ones.

    • @rcnitro001
      @rcnitro001  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Using GH Racing on the arms and gpm steel axles. On my second set of rear axles though. The outer hubs bent somehow.

      Yes you can. I ran mine for a good while. Ran it on two 4s 5000mah packs and it never got hot. I would change the diff oil to at least 500k weight.

      It was just another rc gadget on the market to try out. It works if you find the right purpose to use it for. After using it on different RC’s after I made this video I figured out the good and bad. In my opinion it’s a good product that was not made by a big corporation. Still gotta support the small guys

    I really hate to tell you. the X01 is JONK> and perfect pass will not help you in a speedrun, as this JONK will spin out and all your hard earned money will be wasted. The ticket is Arrma. I ripped out the esc and motor and introduced a sledge hammer to the rest of the car. Even if your going to do a drag race, you will not be successful with perfect pass, as it was made for speed runs in my opinion. I have ten of them with other perfect pass products. Instead of buying a 1K transmitter, LOL..... Get yourself a Limitless chassis and build it from their. Their is always a sucker to buy that chassis.

      I appreciate the feed back. I’ve been in this hobby for over 20 years. Like Donald Trump I like to make things better. Like true race car drivers you buy a car to make it better and NOT have it made for you. Not everyone knows how to figure things out and with these little toys it’s definitely not hard. If you know what you are doing any X01 can be better than any other rc car.

      Yeah your right. Growing up all we wanted to do was go full throttle on everything. Lol
      Now that I am older and see how much things actually cost I take it easy a bit. But still like to go full throttle
