There are a lot of people complaining about how ‘negative’ this is. No it isn’t, I am taking this approach so that when I do have something good to say; you know I actually mean it. The whole point of a ‘review’ is to highlight the good and bad. If you want to go and watch someone say nice things about everything... you know what channel to go to 😂x

I understand that you're trying to be picky and everything mate, but can you at least try to be understanding of the period. The radio for example, just try to remember that it's a car made in 2009 and for its age, the radio is pretty decent.
Other than that, I like the concept of not sugar coating the reviews.

I really miss driving mine. Had one for just over 3 years. Expensive to run and maintain? Yes it was, but the sheer thrill of driving it far outweighed the costs of owing it. For a Ford their a beast of a car.
Now this is a proper review anyone can say this car is so great and so fast aka Jamie FYD, everyone knows the benefits of a car it’s the negatives which are the most useful! Great series idea 👊🏻
Exhausted couldn't agree with you more. Reviews which just highlight the good parts makes the review seem false to me.
Just had mine serviced and MOTd ready for summer, currently REVO 2, but is now booked in for REVO 4. Love mine!
Should do a nah lad table and after you have done all your review's come to a conclusion on what car you like the best

GREAT HONEST VLOG LEE!!!! I Test drove the new MK3 RS edition last weekend and i honestly thought it was terrible power wasnt what i was expecting and the ride was emotional!!!! my old scooby was 10 times better😁

I've had both engines (not the rs but and st3 sadly) and I can recall the t5 being a class above the megane 225. So that bit also confused me, so I assume it's something in the tune.
yeah i get that bro but the megane lee had before stella was tourqey as hell my close freind also had one and no bullshit it would leave craigs ( our other freinds ) rs up untill 4th gear pull so i understand why lee has said this its all about traction lad
Not hating at all just a light hearted comment. I'm sure if it would have bothered lee he would have replied. A standard rs has more torque that the megane so a mapped one would be miles ahead. If it felt less that was defo not 400bhp. They have shit loads of low down torque and so smooth so it probably wasn't as aggressive feeling as the megane

Seeing as this is a brutally honest review, i'm going to be brutally honest. I've watched some of your vids Lee and I didn't like them, however, I've watched this one, and watched your recent vid on washing your wrapped impreza and I think i'm converted. Really enjoyable down to earth stuff. And you're right, there are too many overly positive reviewers on here. 1 fan and 1 subscriber gained, keep it up man :)
Just a suggestion, maybe you could do a little interior review and find anything weird that the car has

A very nice concept mate - its not too negative at all, a nice mixture - but i think you should just do brutally honest bonnet catch reviews haha.

How about Polls on the videos on every point that you made so we can see how many agree and disagree between us (the viewers) that might be a cool idea?
If in had £1.00 for every bonnet opening that broke on on a ford focus I'd buy a few rally sports.
Euan scotland put a self tapper through it on my old focus, works fine and it’s not going to go again

Beast car!! Hoping to get 1 as my next car in the ultimate green colour. Such a rare car that stands out so much. Puts any german car to shame & will get looks & haters wherever it goes. Cant wait to get 1.
Lee : good power, responsive steering, long throw to third though. Realistic.

Good shout this yano... keeps the channel fresh and funky.... you need to do a whole rage of cars....
My particular experience with that shape focus gave me a sore left knee as the centre console comes out way too far and left knee rubs on knee roll hurt like hell after a few weeks had to get rid.
Great honest review mate, nice to see someone not bull shitting just to keep everyone happy.
But if it doesn’t feel torquey and it’s only got a filter and exhaust it won’t be at 400bhp.
These are well know for there “torquey ness”, it’d be easily making 400+ Ftlb if it’s at around 400bhp.

3898jake it more because of how linear the delivery is,mine is 410 ft/lb and feels smoother than my old vxr.
Craig Vxr depends on the map it’s Had bud, I’ve got one myself. But even standard you can still feel the torque
Yeh you can feel it but my vxr used to come on hard and die off whereas my rs pulls smoothly all the way.i think the revo maps do pull a bit harder though.
Craig Vxr Think Lee is use to the scooby which doesn't hv a lot low down then you feel all of it at 4k and onwards. I've got a mk3 RS and a 2004 sti and have had both cars side by side and the RS pulls away from the scooby yet the scooby feels way more torquey to drive. The RS is just more linear in delivery which ultimately is a good thing even if you loose that punch in the back, though sadly the result is the car then becomes a bit less dramatic to drive!
Craig Vxr defiantly down to the map, cp maps are quite progressive revo and a few others are more aggressive.
Nice video Lee, you mentioned about your Megane having more torque, how does your Subaru compare to the power of the Megane? You should do a review of you Subaru!
No way that's 400 without bigger injectors/no upgraded plenum etc, but still a good review Lee lad
Great vid can't wait to see what else is on your list to review. Also doubt it's 400bhp as my old RS was running the JS420 pack and I had uprated intercooler, inlet plenum, 750cc injectors, paddle clutch, induction kit and bigger brakes so this one is more like 350bhp. Still a great car. Makes me miss my old car lol

Yeah, the mirrors not being responsive enough is a major let down and the main reason why people should stay away from the car.
Any idea what exhaust was on this? And what size tips they were? 5.5 maybe?

Is the door as heavy as the Astra? The doors on my workmate's Corsa feel like they're made of cardboard compared to my Astra.
Also as an ex-Astra owner, I'm surprised you didn't check the glovebox. The piece of shit in mine would get 2 nahlad points.

I love driving in Rivington, never gets boring up there. Good idea on the negative review, too many people don't tell you all the bad points and over exaggerate on the good ones.
Respect to Lee for trying new shit out and puting effort in.
400bhp through FWD? How much of that makes it to the road in the first two (or even 3) gears? Don't get me wrong im not hating, just I know my CTR spins up if its not bone dry and thats only 200bhp.
How many degrees off centre is that steering wheel?
Superb review! The car doesn’t seem savage enough for 400hp tho,I do like these focus rs’s but Fords are just so meh! 🙂👍🏻

Dunno how you can say that about this car ive seen the car in person and its one of the nicest examples about especially being formally owned by a well known ford modifier(kms Motorsport)

That’s probably running closer to 340hp with that standard inlet and no mention of injectors or intercooler

Cringed at ‘pop and bang map’ surely you know that the 5pot in this is known for loud pops and bangs even when standard

I love the idea of this series pumled for more. One thing I recommend is that atm the focus on nah lad points is a bit much, maybe drive the car and review it then at the end add up the points.

Easy you don’t become the opposite of Jamie FYD.... I have a REVO 2 UG RS... and love it, but my ‘nah point’ would be the high drivers seat.. but that was the same with the 2 previous STs I had.. Shame it was wet.
