Because Kaioshin is dead in this world, Beerus won't ever visit Earth, thus also saving Trunks' timeline from that threat.
But because of that Goku back and zamazu can do whatever they want in Future trunk timeline
The whole point is that Trunks actions in the past allowed Goku to nose twitch his way into Zamasu's presence. But it isn't all bad because Beerus rivalry with him prepared the gang for that threat. Thankfully Goku's nature compelled Zeno to delete Zamasu from each timeline where he could be a nuisance
Although I do think that Zamasu's actions were an important study on so called divine rule. That way even the destroyers know that napping on the job can lead to their own erasure. No one is above reproach

5:59 Now I understand why young Future Trunks was voiced by kid Trunks's actor. Even as kid, he was voiced by the same actor as Future Trunks and younger one was voiced in a similar pitch as kid Trunks.
I love how the official Subtitles are so inaccurate. Such as trunk say "Ittekimasu", it Means I'm off. Not "Wish me luck" lel:v

Yeah I noticed that too. For whatever reason they used the same lines as the Dub of Z. Which is a shame because the dialogue in the JP version is far superior.
@@Animedumptruck I think the subtile are more similar to Kai, in that while it's faithful to the original, they did somewhat modified the line to sound more natural in English.

Japanese dub is less weird than English dub, I still dont know how people can hear to other languages with anime games or movies...I prefer like this Japanese dub with English subtitle...

I know it was already explained, but to reiterate/elaborate
1: Goku died of the heart virus, which was a natural cause of death, meaning he could not be brought back by the power of the Dragon Balls.
2: Even if that wasn’t a rule, Piccolo was already dead in this timeline as well, which means Kami is gone too.
Just like with Grand Elder Guru, when the creator of the Dragon Balls dies (in this case being Kami) the Dragon Balls either disappear entirely or they become stone.
Not a writing error or inconsistency, just a clever use of pre-established rules
