I havent watched the video yet, but my lineup is usually: 1. speedy, contact guy 2. speedy contact guy with a little bit of pop 3. full power hitter 4. power hitter, more of a well rounded guy 5. well rounded player contact/power 6. contact guy 7. power guy with low vision 8. bad hitter 9. worst hitter/worse attributes in the lineup
I like to think I have some skills when it comes to a line up. I’m an old man that coached and has played a lot of sim baseball. This was my plan when I coached. 1. I want my best hitter with speed. 2. Contact hitter who can hit with 2 strikes. Has to be a good bunter. 3. My 3rd best bat left 4. Best hitter 5. Next best 6. - 7. - 8. - 9. Fastest of the last 3 hitters My best hitter hits 4th. If he hits in the first inning it is with a base runner. If not I have my best hitter starting the 2nd inning. I like someone fast batting last. With lead off next I don’t need the bases clogged with a slow base runner. For the show I’m very similar in lineup construction. I do like to have my 1 or 9 hitter as a switch hitter. I do like to hide a lower clutch guy in the lead off spot. 4 hitter is my best hitter. I only carry a back up catcher if my catcher can’t throw. I like fielders with speed on the bench. Late in the game, if I’m winning, I’m subbing in gloves and speed. You know late in the game is when things get crazy.

Happy Monday! Thought the content drop was ok. Just another Topps Now drop plus TA. Not even a program. I like what they did with TA, making it much less tedious, and more fun, with lots of different missions to choose from. Having it go faster is a mixed blessing tho, because finishing it in a couple days leaves me back at nothing to do, but i probably prefer the quicker tempo. Im going to reserve judgment on this weeks content until we see it all... Just a note on NCAA 25 -- the gameplay is sped up a bit, but it has the same CPU AI problems as Madden. Bad blocking AI, especially 2nd level. Weird synching of defender movements. Easily broken defender AI -- you can run backwards 30 yards with your QB and still spin & throw a dot 50 yards downfield. Animations cause defenders to phase through ball carrier if they are the secord or third player to the ball. Its just the same broken Madden foundation with some cool college sights & sounds to distract you. It wont take long for people to figure that out. Its EA, what did we expect?
I need help....I don't know how to use more than 1 card from season 1,season 2 or season 3 in the bullpen....how can I?...thanks for the help and love the content
is there a reason you have babe in the 4th instead of chip? not hating, genuinely asking my thought process behind the question was that since its a cleanup spot wouldn’t you want a switch hitter there since no matter what you’ll always have the advantage? i know babe is technically a better hitter since he’s maxed out entirely but you run the possibility of a lefty lefty matchup

Yes the defensive subs save leads. SDS has it out for you if you’re winning last few innings it always gets sketchy

Personal preference. Lefty lefty matchups don’t bother me, and I like having Chipper between two lefties at 3
