Hello there 🙋🏼♀️. Your nightgown looks heavenly. What a great make. Sometimes we put so much money and time and effort into items we wear only on special occasions. It just makes so much sense to put all of that towards an item we wear daily. I saw some salmon pink silk and wanted to order it right away. But after thinking about it I thought I’d rather make beautiful garments that I’ll wear everyday. But then again, I still might get the silk lol. Have a great week. 😊
Hi Victoria, thanks for sharing all the deets in this video! I had two quick questions, did you do a regular straight stitch for sewing and basting the yoke ruffle? And did you size down to use a knit? I have some ideas swimming in my head now :D
Megan Strowger for gathering the ruffle I just used a straight stitch and basting it on as well, but when I finally stitched it on I used a stretch stitch and then I serged the edge! I also did not size down because I wanted it extra roomy!!! Thanks!
Great idea making it into a nightgown. It is beautiful!
Thank you!!! I wear it all the time!!
Thanks for sharing. The top and dress turned out so great.
I can’t wait to see the reveal you posted a speak peak of on FB. I’m very intrigued 😊
